Here is how I see it.
When the ordinal attack started, Luke proposed a filter for ordinals. Core rejected the filter on a bunch of suspicious lazy reasons. That was a signal for more shitcoins to come on Bitcoin. Core effectively signalled to shitcoiners that bitcoin is now for shitcoins. And hell, they heard the signal loud and clear.
Within a year or two, runes, rare sats, stamps, BRC tokens, and all kinds of other crap decided to make Bitcoin their home. All the while coretards stupidly repeated "The fees should be the only filter"
The problem would have been a lot smaller had we implemented an ordinal filter back than. Bitcoiners fumbled the ball. We tolerated core's wreckless behavior for too long.
Now malware assholes think they have a home on Bitcoin. You will kick and scream, but you will be taken out on the curb.
