Guys, please support Cryptsy discussion https://cryptsy.freshdesk.com/support/discussions/topics/4000272960 and "like" the ticket.
We need at least 100-150 comments to push Nas to Cryptsy.
Good News for NasCoin!!!

Well, lots of coins were already redistributed, although it's true that we need better distibution. As well as 95% other coins. There were lots of Nxt haters but now, just a few months later lots of major stakeholders sold most part of their stakes. As for Nas price, you can buy 1% of all emission for just 20 Btc, how is it far too expensive? Just check http://coinmarketcap.com/#BTC - 2000 Btc is a capitalization of some shit coins.

There's no way to determine how well it is redistributed. If people transfer their NAS to other accounts there's no way to know if it's another person's account, or another of their own. If I had a significant proportion of a coin's total distribution then yes I'd split them up into separate accounts too.

Nxt had and has lots of haters, mostly from people who didn't get in early enough. It was very badly distributed at the start. It's got a lot better since then, but it's still very badly distributed. And I believe that is putting people off investing into it (why buy 50,000 NXT when there are several people with >5 million NXT who are probably looking to cash out?). (I'm not talking about Elmo here; he's a joke). It appears NAS has significantly worse distribution problems than Nxt, but without the large community or first mover advantage.

Which is a shame. I'm not in principle against NAS. I would invest if the price was right (and I'm open to PMs). But the initial distribution means that 15 satoshi is far far too high for me.

I think there's little point in debating this though. I put the table up and people can draw their own conclusions, good or bad. I won't repost it. If there are factual problems please point them out and I'll rectify them.

Thanks a lot for the kind offer. But I already squeezed into the initial giveaway - just before the cutoff! - so i wouldn't be comfortable getting more free NAS.

why buy 50,000 NXT when there are several people with >5 million NXT who are probably looking to cash out?

Because you want to make really good money? Not great money like one of major stakeholders, but still. I got into Nxt a bit late and wasn't able to buy 1M for 1Btc but still have x20 profit and I don't want to make the same mistake with Nas so I bought some Nas at 15 satoshis. I don't care if someone make $500K on it invested just 200 Nxt if I make $100K invested 10 Btc. Nas price is a joke right now, you can buy 1% of all coins for 15 Btc.

Selling up to 2M (min 200 000) at 40 satoshis.
200'000 Nas = 0.08 Btc
2'000'000 = 0.8 Btc

I also have no problem with people making large profits just because they got in at the right time and took the risk. I don't see it as "fair" or "unfair" (although generally the wider community does judge based on this).

But it's risky to invest in something where a handful of large stakeholders with 70% of the coin supply are able to control the price simply by turning the tap on and off. Nxt were first and had a large and active community driving it, so there were huge rewards even for non-initial investors. NAS is a clone of Nxt, and it can be cloned again and again, perhaps by someone who manages to do a distribution that is considered 'fair' by the community, and/or doesn't suffer from someone being able to easily control the supply/price. There will be some sales in the short term, but I think investors will look to fully cash out, and then "Don't catch a falling knife" will apply.

To protect myself against being totally wrong about NAS, I would buy some, but at much lower prices than are being mentioned on this thread. If anyone is selling at 0.5 satoshi, PM me.

Well, it always depends on how much risk you're willing to take. At 1 satoshi I'd buy 1'000'000'000 coins right away. But it's just 10 Btc for 10% of the emission and it's ridiculous. No one in his mind would sell at such low price.
