Hansi Flick has structured his squad in such a way that if several players in the team get injured, they can easily overcome the situation. Raphinha is playing well this season and his goal tally is the highest but he may have to sit on the bench due to the possibility of injury problems. As in last season, he was injured for a long time and could not play 16 matches. This season, the team has the ability to win multiple trophies if they can maintain their current performance.
I also see the possibility of Real Madrid doing better because Mourinho is very confident that the team will play better in the future and he expects to win trophies this season. Barcelona are in great form but the team values the Spanish league more in terms of importance.
Why did you decide that La Liga is Barcelona’s priority tournament? In my opinion, for any European giant, the Champions League has always been, and probably always will be, the priority competition. Moreover Flick stated at one of his press conferences that one of their main goals this season is to win the Champions League. They are taking this competition very seriously. Barcelona have won La Liga in each of the last two seasons. And I think that if they cannot repeat that achievement this season but win the Champions League instead, that would still be an acceptable outcome for them. Although winning the Champions League is a very difficult task. Barcelona will win La Liga, but the teams have no connection with the domestic league in this Champions League, because each team is strong in its own domestic league. Just as Barcelona is playing with the goal of winning the Champions League, the stronger teams are also entering the field for the title. Just because Barcelona has won La Liga in the last two seasons does not mean that they are the strongest in the Champions League, because if we consider PSG as such, then they are even stronger, because PSG has won the Champions League in the last two seasons. And therefore this Champions League cannot be compared with the domestic league. We will see the strength of Barcelona in the Champions League in the match on the 21st, where they will play against PSG, the champions of the last two seasons. Barcelona has been dominating every match very strongly, but their situation will be bad against PSG.

Everything is based on current form, and Barca is at the top of the picks because of that. They are winning games with ease and scoring an expected four or five goals per game. That is clear, but when they get to the playoffs, everything will change, not to mention if an injury comes knocking at the door. It has already happened: Raphinha will be out for I don't know how many games, and it will be fun to watch whether Barca can keep winning without him in La Liga and the UCL..
Raphinha has contributed to more goals this season than any other player in Barcelona. His scoring potential has really improved this season and he will be missed throughout the period of his injury. I also wouldn’t measure a team’s success based on their performance now in the champions league, the playoffs are the best time to know the potential of a team if they can really get an edge over their rivals. Barcelona is doing well now but we can’t be so sure how long they can maintain that consistency. They have showed some spectacular performance that makes them a top choice for the title, but time will tell if that’s going to be possible. Hansi Flick has structured his squad in such a way that if several players in the team get injured, they can easily overcome the situation. Raphinha is playing well this season and his goal tally is the highest but he may have to sit on the bench due to the possibility of injury problems. Barcelona are in great form but the team values the Spanish league more in terms of importance. This is not true, if three to five key players gets injured from the first team, the team will not perform the same way when all these players that were injured plays together, so this remark of you claming Hansi Flick has structured his team in such a way that injuries will not affect them even if they lose several key players is wrong. Hansi Flick will be sweating under his seat if such a thing happens. Let's imagine Yamal Barcelona best player, Raphinha, Dani Olmo, Cubarsi, Pedri all getting injured at the same time. The kind of playing, balance and attacking provided by these players will not be seen if they are not all on the field.

Mourinho is not looking like a manager that has got an understanding of the team he’s managing now, he needs to show some more great performance because Real Madrid performance is not convincing enough yet and he’s still yet to show that he’s here to win trophies. I won’t rule him out to be a bad manager yet, let’s see what he can do for the team from now till the new season begins.
I've been saying it for years, Jose Mourinho is just a clown who gets paid well He has no special abilities other than being a conceited piece of shit and that's it. he is not capable He had to do two things and he did them badly, having very strong players at his disposal. from here you can understand that it is poor I’ve also said it many times that he’s no longer good enough for the managerial role especially at Real Madrid, earlier before the season started a lot of fans were saying he’ll do this, he’ll do that…. All Jose Mourinho has are in the past, right now he’s just living on reputation and even that is almost depleted. I wouldn’t say he’s been a clown for years or that he isn’t elite… he was but he’s glory days are behind him, he hasn’t done anything remarkable in the last 2-3 years before arriving at Madrid.

I don't know how to explain this anymore to the Barcelona fans within my reach that Barcelona cannot be hyped as long as they are yet to play decent teams. All the teams they are facing in LaLiga are small teams. Imagine it was PSG clashing with Elche, Valencia, Levante, most of them are even teams that just got promoted from relegation. Barcelona is still a mediocre team, yet to prove that they are worthy of winning the Champions League. The Champions League is where we see if a team is truly in good form.
Let it be, it's just their expectations because they are currently dominant in domestic competition so they will think that they are very capable of the Champions League now especially if counting the last time Barcelona won the Champions League it was a decade ago so they think this is a good opportunity for them to make a difference this season with the current squad. But in the end in this case the Champions League is sometimes a different situation no matter how hard we try to deny but sometimes surprises always happen. https://www.uefa.com/uefachampionsleague/history/clubs/50080--barcelona/7 this season Barcelona's highest achievement was only reaching the semi-finals in the last 2 seasons and now they will already claim the champion with statistics just because of the match at the beginning of the season? It is indeed good for the spirit but for the claim of taste it is still superfluous.

We will see the strength of Barcelona in the Champions League in the match on the 21st, where they will play against PSG, the champions of the last two seasons. Barcelona has been dominating every match very strongly, but their situation will be bad against PSG.
There is no doubt that Barcelona is more organized and formidable side this season compared to last. They have dominated every match in La Liga. Team demonstrated its capabilities by securing resounding 5-1 victory over Feyenoord in their only Champions League match so far. PSG is by no means a weak team. However, it is evident that they have lost some of their strength. Before Barcelona vs PSG clash, I am eagerly awaiting match between PSG and Manchester City. If Paris manage to secure point against City then there is strong possibility they could do same against Barcelona. Although FCB is currently in strong form but match will take place at Parc des Princes. In such high-stakes match home advantage often plays crucial role.

Don't get it all twisted, the fact Barcelona is the most formidable team in the Spanish LA Liga doesn't guarantee them the UEFA champions league title, they might be good there and be bad in the UEFA champions league, just like Aston villa in their recent games in the English premier league and the UEFA champions league, they look awful in the English premier league but look all good in the UEFA champions league, but as it stands now, if I'm to bet on any team to win the UEFA this season, I will gladly bet on either Barcelona or Bayern Munich, anything aside these two, then I'm out.

It's quite silly to believe that injury worries won't affect a team, especially when we're talking about the key players. I don't think it's something any fans should be hoping for because that might just be enough to disrupt their entire season. Even from last season, Raphinha's injury played a huge part in Barcelona's elimination from the UCL and Copa Del Rey. They lost both legs of the UCL while Raphinha wasn't part of the team. They also lost first leg of the Copa Del Rey semi final(4-0), while trying to do a comeback in the second leg(3-0) when Raphinha was part of the team. I don't think it's smart to underestimate the disadvantages of injuries especially during the beginning/ending of a season.

I hope that Madrid fans will realise that Mourinho is not the best person for the job. The results are not different from what we are seeing from the last two seasons. Everyone is expecting to see Real Madrid as a threat to every opponent this season. I wonder how this squad will survive playing against Barcelona this season. They couldn’t even score from their chances against Betis, I wonder how the game against Barcelona would look like, perhaps they will concede like 6 goals. This is not true, if three to five key players gets injured from the first team, the team will not perform the same way when all these players that were injured plays together, so this remark of you claming Hansi Flick has structured his team in such a way that injuries will not affect them even if they lose several key players is wrong.
I agree with you, if two or three key players get injured, it will affect their performance. We saw how Barcelona struggled last season without Raphinha, they have signed Gordon and Adeyemi to strengthen their squad, but I don’t Hansi Flick will survive if any of his key players get injured.

It depends on the team.. A team like Real Madrid now will prioritize laliga title more than champions League teams, it all depends on what type of situation a team is in, and in laliga where there are two major rival clubs, laliga title it is very much important to them and one will love to show dominance over the other.

Wining the champion's league should have been the priority of a team like Madrid but, at this point and situation were Madrid finds themselves, were they have not win the Laliga title for the past two seasons. Madrid target should be wining the Laliga title. The reason is at this point in time Madrid can't compete for the champions league favorably. Because for now Madrid is in a rebuilding stage and so thinking about winning the champion's league is out of the equation even come next season.

Real have not won a trophy in the past two seasons due to their poor performance, and the same situation is likely to be seen this season. Barca are already 6 points ahead of Real. In the reality that there are more strong clubs in the Champions League, Real Madrid current form is not able to make much of an impact, although Mourinho is trying to win at least one trophy. I think Real Madrid should aim to reach a stable level. The team has suffered a lot in the last two seasons and they should focus on winning trophies in the next phase.

Barcelona is never a mediocre team neither are they bad or out of form, they are one of the best sides whether this season or previous seasons. It's wrong to have called the a mediocre team but still I think I understand the point been driven at. PSG form of last 2 seasons and last season has been taken into full consideration and to top it all, they did only what Real Madrid has been able to do, no team aside these 2 have achieved such success ever since the name change in1992, I think that's were the so much confidence for PSG comes from. As for Bayern Munich, they have been on top in the competition year after year. I think the bashing on Barcelona is because of how they have been performing in the competition in the last 10 years. I think that's where the conclusion is been drawn at, but nevertheless the less, Barcelona is one of the best sides we have and they are not mediocre as earlier suggested.
It is no coincidence that i would say that Barcelona won the La Liga, in which Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid also compete, with a few games behind them and with a notable amount of goals. He went out in the Champions League, in my opinion also a little unluckily, but right given how things were going, while this year he is even more convincing and uses an even more memorable game.

Even if I'm not a great admirer of his, you can't say that José Mourinho is a clown or that he doesn't know what he's doing, given that we're talking about a manager who has won a Europa League, a Conference League and a Champions League. i don't think any coach would be able to achieve certain results. So if i were you i would be a little more careful when using words when you talk about someone who has a much better track record than others.

What does this even mean? The odds are based on current form. Before the season started, teams like PSG and Bayern had better odds than Barcelona, now, 8 games into the season, the odds have changed. 20 games into the season, the odds might change again. It's not like Barcelona is a team that has never won the Champions League or has no chance at all to win the Champions League. Talking about history, in the world, only about 4 teams have more Champions League titles than Barcelona, and since the start of this century, only Madrid has won more Champions League titles than Barcelona. The odds are not based on the has won it recently, it is based on who is in the best form at the moment and no matter how you try to deny it, the most in-form team right now is Barcelona. 30 games into the season, Barcelona might drop form, and their odds might increase, but right now, they are the most in-form team.
So based on the current form, if you were the bookmakers, you would place Madrid ahead of Barcelona for the Champions League? Or should they be rated higher simply because they have won it more than everyone else, even though they haven't won a trophy in 2 seasons and started this season poorly? It doesn't work like that.
It seems very logical to me that the odds have changed, also because bookmakers choose the odds to assign to the various teams based on their performance, based on the predictions made and above all based on how a team is playing and demonstrating what it can do, and such an explosive Barcelona obviously brings new odds.

La Liga and UCL are two completely different competitions. In La Liga we see many poor performing teams and those teams can also fight with them and make up the points. But in UCL the teams that get a chance are the strong teams of their league and it is not easy to fight with them. In almost every league we see the same picture that in each league very few teams are good and fight for the trophy. However, this season Barcelona is in a very strong position and they are performing very well in both La Liga and UCL. If we see Barcelona fighting with a tough opponent then we can say more strongly how strong they are to win the trophy.

Barcelona is not a mediocre team at all. Because they currently have a very strong team, in the attacking part there are world-class players like Raphinha, Lamine Yamal, Lewandowski and in the midfield there are high-quality players like Pedri and in the defense there are also many strong players. If we look at their current performance and their team at the moment, I never think that they are a mediocre team. Although they have not fought against any big teams this season, but if their current performance was bad, then they would definitely have seen weaknesses somewhere. I will definitely put Barcelona as the first team to win the title this season.
Barcelona have never been a mediocre team, they have always been a top-level team, always. Even in past years, it has always been a team in which many players have dreamed of playing. Now it has strengthened again after a somewhat weaker period, but with Flick and his wingers, Lamine Yamal and Raphinha, the quality of the team has undoubtedly improved significantly.

Barcelona have been playing quite well and no one can say that they're underperforming or their game is not up to standard. They have shown some great performance in the field and have also made their journey in the champions league worthy one. They have a good chance at the title as it stands now. They just need to maintain consistency. Raphinha have show that he's one of the best the team can have this season and he'll continue his quest for contributing more goals to the team when hes back from injury.
Mourinho is not looking like a manager that has got an understanding of the team he's managing now, he needs to show some more great performance because Real Madrid performance is not convincing enough yet and he's still yet to show that he's here to win trophies. I wont rule him out to be a bad manager yet, let's see what he can do for the team from now till the new season begins.
Apart from some defensive attitudes that still leave a little to be desired. For the rest, Barcelona are playing excellent football and it can be seen from their position in the standings and above all from the number of goals they manage to score and from the teamwork that their coach has managed to insert into the team.

A minor injury to a player as good as Raphinha could pose a major threat to Barcelona. Barcelona are currently playing in a strategy where Raphinha is their main player, even if they don't want to. And Raphinha has presented himself under Flick in such a way that scoring goals has never been difficult for him. So, if such a player is not on the field, it becomes a cause for concern.
The entire strategy may have to be changed. But the coach will never want to change the strategy from a good position in the league. They will want to use the team's strongest trump card correctly at any cost. Raphinha has a very minor injury that will be fixed before their next match starts and he will be able to start regular practice again. So, the team's situation is likely to deteriorate without Raphinha. But it won't happen so quickly. Barcelona will be able to remain consistent for a while longer.
I can't help but agree with you because both Raphinha and Yamal are actually in a truly surprising physical condition and depriving one of the two players currently among the best in the squad would certainly be a hard blow. There would probably be substitutes but they wouldn't have the same performance as the two talents.

Your assumption is indeed reasonable, because it is basically true that every team that can play well in their domestic league cannot be guaranteed to play well or not in the Champions League. So that's why I think every team in the Champions League is great, but it is indeed impossible to be sure who will be the champion. So speaking of Barcelona, they are indeed great in their domestic league, and although I hope they can also play well in the Champions League, but yes, currently we haven't seen too many matches. So that's why our analysis is still very minimal on this matter. Therefore, waiting for the match between PSG and Barcelona is clearly very decisive which team will have the greatest potential to become champions. Because basically, at this time Barcelona is also uncertain whether they will play well in the Champions League or not until they can prove it. So yes, I can't wait to see Barcelona face PSG.

It's not about the fans, I don't care about them and in the end when fans are happy about the team's success it's normal. The problem lies with the bookmakers: a couple of wins over Elche and Valencia, and bam! - Barcelona is the Champions League favorite This is incredibly stupid propaganda that reminds me of how City was the Champions League favorite year after year, probably for eight seasons straight, only to get beaten by Real Madrid time and again (though they did manage to agonizingly clinch the title once).
The standards are the same. Bayern won the Champions League relatively recently, PSG are the reigning champions, and it goes without saying when it comes to Real. When did Barcelona last win the Champions League, or at least reach the final? More than ten years ago - in another era, you could say. When ambitions don't match results (and not just for one season, but for an entire generation), people naturally notice and draw conclusions.
In fact, this is something that should not be underestimated, because it is true that Barcelona have achieved two great victories with many goals, which bodes well for the Catalan team, but in the Champions League they will also face teams like Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City which are certainly much more complex teams to face and which will really highlight how much Barcelona's qualities have improved.
