Today we had a pretty goal-rich round. The average goals per game ratio was almost 5 goals (4.89 to be precise).
The biggest win was Como destroying Lens 9-1 despite playing away. The Italian club proved that their previous confident 4-1 home win against Man United was not a coincidence. Como now have 3 wins and 1 loss, which places them 4th in the UCL table. Can they be considered a dark horse of the tournament? Too soon to say. Their only loss was to Feyenoord, and they are one of the weakest clubs in the bunch, so this is a bit concerning. Still, they are the best-performing Italian club so far in the UCL, with the 2nd-best-performing Inter being at a distant 15th place.

I now believe that Cesc Fabregas actually told his boys to slow down against Manchester United because what is this feast on Lens? Even when I thought that the match will end 8:1 when they were approaching injury time but Como wasn't even satisfied as they managed to score the final goal in stoppage time. Como is becoming powerful in every UCL match, I still don't understand how Feyenoord was able to defeat them. Como is actually showing the other Italian clubs how to execute their job perfectly. A team that we thought they won't survive the league phase of the Champions League since they are new is now the club that is almost about to get direct qualification to the round of 16. What amazes me about Como is that some of these teams they met have Champions League experience more than them but Como still humiliated them by a clear win.

We've started seeing a clearer picture as all team completes their 4th game, half way through the league. Now next 4 games would determine the future. First 8 goes directly to round of 16 while 9th to 24th would play playoffs for the spot.

I watched the highlights of the Lens vs. Como match. I must commend the Lens fans; even when the score reached 0-5, they continued to support their team—they even kept waving their flags.
It was a disastrous day for Lens. The Como players were practically walking on the pitch while scoring; I doubt they could score with such ease even in a training session.
By the 68th minute, the score was 1-8.
After that goal, Como took their foot off the gas. Had they kept pushing forward, it might have ended up as the highest-scoring match in Champions League history. I recall an 8-4 game, though I’ve forgotten which teams were involved.
It was a great day for Como, but an equally terrible one for Lens. The final goal was confirmed following a VAR review. Lens ended up losing 1-9 on their home turf.
Given this defeat, a change in management is likely, especially since Lens hasn't been performing well in the league either.

Almost all the big teams that played yesterday appeared to be a bit lazy towards the end of the game especially for the likes of Arsenal that were leading two goals up and towards the last 20 minutes or so became very lazy to put in the effort. if there opponent where clinical enough, that game would have ended in a draw.

This is almost like the perfect table we expect to see in the build up to the round of 16. things might change here and there but the odds are high that this guys that are at the top of the table will make it straight to the round of 16 and it will be a great clash of big teams. of all the teams here, PSG stood out real time because they won all their games with great margin.

Cesc Fabregas como team is wonderful, and with the type of football they are playing this season, they might make a statement in this year uefa champions league season.

I am expecting them to go as far as the quarter finals of the competition because they have proven to be very good.  In the last round of the uefa champions league games, they defeated Manchester United 4-1, which shows that they are a force that should not be ignored, but I believe that the likes of Bayern munich, Barcelona and PSG will be too strong for them, if not they have what it takes to go all the way.

Honestly, Como is on a different level. Cesc Fabregas is really doing wonders with this COMO team. Did Lens do training at all? At home, losing 1:9 is unacceptable.

If Cesc Fabregas doesn't win manager of the season, I truly don't know who deserves it more than him. Now, I believe him when he said he held his team from scoring more goals against Manchester United. If he wanted to score up to 7 goals that day, his team would do it.

Fabregas is indeed a great coach and he always creates good strategies, which ultimately leads Como to this point with a strong team. I don't know who deserves the award for best manager this season because I think there are other good managers besides Fabregas, but Fabregas is indeed a good manager.

I also didn't expect Como to score 9 goals against Lens. This will certainly make Como fans happy, but Lens fans will definitely be sad to see this, especially since Lens is the host in this match. Yes, Como is currently in 4th place and they are in a good position, so now I'm curious about Como's next match.

The Como team is something else, I don't know what Cesc Fàbregas has done to this team to make them look so terrifying, with the team 1-9 win against Lens am beginning to believe that what Fàbregas said when the team won Manchester United 4-1 could be true, that he called his team to slow down so they won't score Manchester United more than 4.

This was not just a victory to Como but a humiliation to Lens and a footballing massacre, Como are the second team in Champions league to have scored 9 goal in a single UEFA Champions league game.

Como will be a team that will be placed seriously by other teams competing in the Champions League after the series of results they have obtained beyond predictions. Winning with a goal margin of up to 1-9 and acting as the home team, that's great.
Starting from Paz, Da Cunha, Douvikas to 4 Como defenders will experience a surge in market prices. All of these big roles cannot be separated from Fabregas. Real Madrid won, but I must admit that it was a disappointing result, I expected this game to be an easy one for Madrid. I know most Real Madrid fans will say a win is a win, but at some point, it looked like the game was going to end as a draw, luckily for Madrid valverde scored the winner. If Man city can beat AEK Athens by 5 goals to nil, and Shakhtar Donetsk beat them 3 goals to 1, then why should Madrid struggle to beat them?. I thought Real Madrid has finally come back to form after their win against Barcelona, but it looks like they still need to improve.

I'm not too confident with this Madrid side in UCL, because they've had to come back to win against average teams. I wonder what will be their fate if they come across teams like PSG or Arsenal.

Real Madrid and this their late comeback is already becoming something else.. They are already playing well but there is room for more improvement from the players, most especially the defenders..Their comeback as we all have seen is mostly against smaller teams which they should have found quite easy to win considering the number of qualities and star players that are in Real Madrid squad...Well I am not really confident of Madrid struggling when faced against a team like Arsenal coz Arsenal themselves aren't that consistent in their performance.. Surely, defensively Arsenal are trying their best..But in the front they disappoint almost all the time...But against a team like PSG, am sure that Real Madrid would really struggle a lot considering the scary wins that PSG keeps dropping back to back--6:0, 5:1, 4:2, 3:1 and so on...

Last night, Real Madrid managed to beat Athena with a very narrow score, namely 3-2. So it was quite tense, because if Real Madrid could not score a goal in the final minutes, they would have definitely got a draw in this match. .

There is something so exciting about football that I can't seem to understand, it's a completely beautiful feeling that everyone needs to experience. During yesterday's game, I was watching both the Fenerbahçe vs Liverpool game and Athens vs Real Madrid game the same time, and the moment Fenerbahçe made it 3-2, my guts told me that either Real Madrid or Athens would make the game 3-2 as well. Soon after, Valverde scored a beautiful screamer to end the game at 3-2 win, having both teams end the match on same score.

Both teams that played against themselves in yesterday's Champions league scored, as opposed to Tuesday's Champions league matches, that's shows how unpredictable Champions league games can be at times.

Como are now officially joined by some of the other big clubs in the Champions League for their biggest scores because very rarely do we see a massacre like this and most impressively they did that in their Champions League debuts.

Como can be very troublesome this season although maybe when it comes to the end they still won't be favourites in the Champions League to get to the semi-finals or the final but with his form now I wouldn't be surprised when they can go further in this competition.
18 goals in 4 games is incredible for a debutant club like Como for now.  They are now acting like one of the bearers for Serie A representatives when some subscription clubs such as Inter and Napoli are experiencing inconsistencies.

Out of all the Champions League matches, this is the one that surprised me the most. 9-1 is not a normal score, that's a massacre, even Como did that at Lens' own home, it's a huge embarrassment for Lens to be beaten by a debuting team in the Champions League.

I expected Como to score, but I certainly didn’t expect them to put nine goals in this match. Especially considering that Lens are a fairly solid team with a decent defensive record. They even beat PSG in the French Super Cup earlier this season and also defeated Lyon. In general I can’t recall them conceding too many goals, perhaps the 3-0 defeat away to Club Brugge was an exception. But conceding nine goals at home is absolutely unbelievable.
