They only team that gave them tough time to win was Arsenal last seasons finals were it was decided in penalties. PSG have shown once again that they are the best in the Champions League with this victory. PSG won because Barcelona did not play well. It is natural for anyone to be surprised by the result of the match because the team that is used to winning in 11 consecutive matches lost by conceding 4 goals while Barca managed to score 2 goals. If they could have scored 3 goals, it would have been a competitive match but in reality PSG won by showing dominance. The team is showing their superiority this time too although I still think Arsenal or Manchester City or Liverpool are one of the strongest teams to win the trophy.

Well, the truth is the match was exciting from the very first second to the final whistle. In fact, on ESPN, Mariano said that this match perhaps featured the two best teams in the world in the Champions League right now. It has to be said: Barcelona and PSG are playing at an extremely high level. The injuries are a shame, but I hope none of them are serious and that the players recover quickly.

That's really bad news. Yesterday on ESPN they were saying how they admired his legs because he always focuses so much on working them out in the gym. The way he got injured, in my opinion, was because he landed wrong making an involuntary movement that you should never do, caused by the friction, speed, and power of that exact moment.

Of course, strength training helps a lot to prevent these kinds of injuries, but this was something else entirely. It hit an area where we're all vulnerable, no matter how built you are. Right now, for me, Kvaratskhelia is the best player in the world. I hope he recovers well and comes back strong; everything can be overcome.

Sh*t. I knew Kvaratskhelia injury would be a serious one with the way they had to help him off the pitch and tbh, it was quite surprising with the kind of stamina that guy has, the tackled was a bit too hard I guess and he wasn't really  expecting that kind of  opposite reaction.

Marquis injury isn't really that serious, PSG has alot of midfielders that can easily take that position. Nevertheless,  losing 2 starting attackers to injury at the same time, can be a bit of a issue for some matches.

To be honest, in the first half PSG were very sharp but when the second half Dembele was injured and some of the main players were replaced, I was worried because it could be Barcelona's chance to turn things around. But it turns out that the backup players that PSG have are no less solid in putting pressure on Barcelona. My impression of the game was about the maturity of the players and Barcelona are still below PSG in that respect.
This was Barcelona first defeat since they started the season. PSG became the only team that managed to break the dominance of Barcelona unbeaten record.

You never can tell how the match will go tonight. Just because Arsenal won Bayern Munich home and away last season doesn't mean they will do the same. Bayern Munich is as hungry as Arsenal for the UCL title even though Arsenal needs it more since they haven't won it before. The only thing that will make Arsenal to win is because Michael Olise won't be featured for Bayern Munich as a result of the suspension he got in their last UCL match against Vikings.

Arsenal is not really in that form that they were last season when they met Bayern Munich so it will be a different game for them today. Besides, Bayern Munich is hosting them at Allianz Arena which will be a big advantage to the home team. I don't see Arsenal winning Bayern Munich in this game but a draw is possible.

What a pay day!!!! Like what i said in my previous post about PSG would be thrashing Barcelona like it was nothing. Look at that, look at how PSG was doing full pressing to Barcelona whole time. Barcelona would be conceded at least 8 goals if their goali didn't perform and disappointed it's not happened.

Beside that i can't really understand why PSG's odds is still the same as Barcelona after they destroyed Barcelona. Bookies is underestimating back to back UCL winner. I believe the odds has to be 2.00 or lower because PSG is likely to achieve Madrid's record to be UCL winners three times in a row.

First Man City, now Barcelona. PSG is earning their reputation of the European giants' killer.

It was a fairly even game, but PSG stepped on the gas pedal in the last 10 minutes and scored two. A deserved win in my opinion.

PSG are not the only club with 3 out of 3 games won. Liverpool also have 9 points after beating Villarreal 4-3 tonight. While their Premier League performance leaves a lot to be desired, their Champions League results so far are pretty much perfect.
Villarreal started pretty well. They were leading 2-0 after 29 minutes, but Liverpool snapped out of it very quickly, and they turned it to 3-2 just before the break. Florian Wirtz added the 4th one in the 2nd half.

I remember when PSG is having a poor performance in the beginning of the season in the league, i said that we shouldn’t be deceived by PSG performance in the league because they are still the favourites to win the UCL this season, they have shown that against Manchester City and Barcelona, and i am very happy that beat Barcelona despite some of their top players being take off because of injury.

Barcelona fans always make noise that they are the best team in the world and they are ready to beat PSG because they dominate La Liga, if not for Real Madrid that is not having a good season Barcelona was never a top team in Europe, because the last time they won champions league was 2015, the defeat shows them are not ready to win the UCL, because they don’t have the mentality to win it.

That's a big, big blow, shame for the guy. He is one of those players that you can't hate even if he is playing against your team superbly. Didn't see that Marquinhos got injured. The worst thing with torn ACL is complete unpredictability. A surgery is necessary obviously but the rehabilitation process, its length, impossible to predict.

Sometimes another surgery has to be done too. Needless to say some footballers never managed to play on their level after that injury. Hopefully won't be the case with Khvicha, kid is one of the most talented guys ever and even was lucky enough to join currently the best team...

Bayern is a team that plays openly. So it clearly gives so many advantages to the Arsenal. Bayern won't give pressure to the Arsenal's attackers like what low block team did. It will give them ability to get goals without any obstacle. I understand your pessimistic about Arsenal's attack, but their attackers can always break the wall when they get enough space to explore. Betting on Arsenal sounds good consider Olise is already confirmed won't play in this game. They have done well against Bayern in the last game. They will pass this game with no difficulty because Bayern should be the team that's feeling fear to them.

Only hope they won't be locked in their attacking problems. Once they can find the rythm for their attack, they can win with promising score. Although they being valued as underdog, and i have them on my bet.

In this match, we can also see that PSG mentality under Enrique is already well tested even though Barcelona kept equalizing, PSG remained stable and managed to score two goals in 6 minutes. Barcelona really couldn’t do much in this match especially their midfield which couldn’t develop the game properly.

Even though Barcelona came to Paris undefeated, Doue, Lucas, Vitinha, and Fabian seemed to remind Barcelona that football never promises an easy path. In this match, Barcelona once again experienced the feeling of falling, and it was very painful because PSG handed Barcelona their first defeat of the season. It was an exciting match, and Barcelona needs to make a lot of improvements if they want to win the UCL this season.

I thought Barcelona was the best team in Europe this season and i was thinking they were going to win the champions league because i believed they were untouchable, after they were unmarked by Paris Saint-German, i think Barcelona might not win the champions league this season. Paris Saint-German on the other hand, i never thought of them winning the champions league for 3 consecutive seasons aswell however with their current form, they can still defend the champions league again this season.

Can Manchester United still win a game any moment now? I know Manchester United isn’t in their best of form right now but, loosing to Como was something I was hoping they wouldn’t do. Let’s face it, Como isn’t performing greatly at the Serie A too and that makes them a good fit with Manchester United. Though Como is playing at home and have the home advantage in this, the game ought to have come at some contest which was totally lacking for Manchester United. Going through the entire first half without a ball on target, not even after conceding an early goal that could have had them pumped up, yet nothing. The second half begins and they concede yet another early second half goal, the team is so unreliable.

I would say there are two main differences between PSG and Barcelona, not taking into consideration the fact that the match was played in France, so PSG had an advantage. The first thing is that PSG actually have a defense line. Personally I've never been a fan of Barcelona's defenders. Even Cubarsí, despite his huge growth, still makes some big mistakes. And then there are the leagues: PSG are so superior to all the other French club that can easily rotate and let rest all the players they want. Barcelona can't do that. That is a huge advantage for PSG.

Of course I don't want to downsize them, probably PSG are still the best club in the world. And it all started after Mbappé chose to leave. Football can be cruel and fun at the same time.
