PSG won the UCL title back to back and while we was having an argument out of 7 of us that was talking about the game 5 said PSG are aiming for the 3rd title in a row which means PSG will win it next season and I was like this isn't going to happen, they are good but that doesn't mean they will defend it again next season even if they come back with a more impressive performance next campaign I'll put it to you that they won't near the finals. I said it will be like how Madrid are now, struggling to get pass the round of 16 and the quarter final, look at them now, Madrid have been struggling to even finish in a better position on the Champions League log, PSG will definitely find it hard to do well in the champions league next season, they should celebrate this one they have now.

I think I agree, it's harder than we think, although last season I doubted PSG was going to retain the trophy but they surprised us by going for it again. They've done it twice now and for some reasons I think they wouldn't do it again. Having it 3x in a row will be so incredibly incredible as they will be gunning to equal Real Madrid on that. I still remember that Real Madrid was the only team to have retained the Champions League trophy since the name change twice and PSG is the second team to have retained it once, they will be gunning to make it twice next season but I think it will be hard. Although if they have the will they might just get want they want.

Ones every team makes a particular team a target in the champions league then it becomes hard for club like PSG to even play with full concentration in any of the champions league games, fighting to stay alive from the league phase isn't going to be as easy as it was and again, something about PSG in the two titles they won is that they do struggle with the play off before winning it, it happened the season before and this just concluded season they finished in the play off spot. With how well they struggle to correct their errors it seems to me they have already been seen as the favorite to win the UCL, imagine having one club dominating the league games and they still see PSG as the team to get to the finals and even win it for next season. Manchester City with a departure of Pep will not likely be competitive enough next season, and the other clubs in Europe still have their problems. Barcelona are strong but their defense system is not good and can be exploited by PSG players if two clubs face directly with each other in knock out matches.

Ousmane Dembele said they are going for the 3rd one next season, I know that PSG are the best team in the world right now but I don’t believe or think they will lift the champions league title next season, they lifted the champions league this season by luck, and the reason why I said they won by luck was because penalty is a game of luck and they won the champions league by penalty, next season any team that will meet them in the final will win them that’s if they will even make it to the final again next season.

I think it makes sense for Dembele to say they want to win their third Champions League title next season,, because this season they have proven they can be champions. Furthermore, I think PSG's victory in this season's Champions League is clearly not due to luck alone. If you watch this match,, I think you can clearly see that PSG's performance in this final is truly impressive. After defending the title, again, it's only natural they would want to defend it again and win the trophy the third time. I had wanted Arsenal to win as it would have been amazing if they had won the champions league as well as the premier league. They had played so hard and all through the tournament and really did look good enough to win.

With the steady progress that Arsenal as a team has shown and how we have progressed from a mid position on the Premier League table to win the Premier League and then from not being able to qualify for the finals of the Champions League to playing in the finals of the Champions League, it is still very possible that we will still go on next season to win it because there will now be hunger and desire in the boys, and what the team just needs to do is to invest in having better attacking players to balance up with the defense, and then maybe our coach learns from his errors in this season and becomes better next season. I will still put Arsenal as a title contender next season.

PSG won their second Champions League title in their club history but more impressively, it's a back-to-back title and it makes PSG as a second club in history can defend Champions League trophy successfully. In history, there is only one club that can win three titles back-to-back, it's Real Madrid and PSG are aiming at this record next season. They will defend their crown again and if they succeed again, they will have similar record like Real Madrid which won three consecutive titles with a same head coach Zidane, and PSG wil try doing this with Enrique.

I wouldn't really agree with you that it's sad that PSG, arguably the best team in Europe for the last 2 seasons, became European champions again.
My sympathies were also with Arsenal, but PSG was better in the final and deservedly won.
Yes, we can talk about the financial strength of the team, and how money means a lot in football, but we have seen for ourselves that money alone, without a real strategy and long-term planning, does not bring results and trophies.
PSG is the best example of this.
Their strategy of focusing on top stars, like Neymar, Messi and Mbappe, failed and they couldn't win trophies with those 3 top players in the team.
Only when they got rid of the main stars in the team did they start winning trophies.
I think they will be the main favorite to win the Champions League this season, and their main competitor will be Bayern.

Winning the Champions League title is always very difficult. And the road to the Champions League title has been tough for PSG this season. And many of us said that back to back titles won't be possible for psg. But psg players were very confident. With the help of Luis Enrique they played well throughout the season and managed to keep the performance stable. As a result, PSG has secured both Ligue 1 and Champions League titles. Winning a third Champions League title next season will be tough, but not an impossible task at all.

I wouldn't say that the road to winning the championship was really difficult for psg this season, the only rough game they had was against arsenal and this was because of their strong defense but every other team was not really much of a challenge to them. It was not easy to win against Bayern Munich in the two legs of the semi-final. I thought PSG might not be able to continue winning the trophy but they pulled themselves out of that situation and the fact that they were playing against Arsenal was an advantage for them because Arsenal are a good team but not as aggressive and confident as PSG.
They played brilliantly in both matches against Liverpool in the quarter-final. Seeing their impressive matches, some thought PSG might win the trophy again and their prediction was proven correct.

I'm being optimistic as with the appointment of Carrick as interim manager in the just concluded EPL season, Manchester united's performance changed for the better. With the previous management, I didn't envisage Man united finishing amongst the top 4 but under Carrick, they surprised a lot of people with their performance and went on to finish on the 3rd spot on the table.
I'm optimistic Man united would put up a good performance in the next season of both the EPL and the champions league.

I agree with you regarding PSG, but honestly speaking I disagree with the Manchester City speech, they almost failed to win this year, too many mistakes that affected the result, but despite the mistakes they were close to Arsenal.
I think for City it's not so much to straighten the shot and get instant improvement, it's not so much to them, they already have the foundations of a strong team, they just need to improve.
So I believe that for next season City can only improve from this year's experience, leaving aside the manager who has done his job anyway and no one can deny it.

Before they played the finals, in the league phase they didn't find it easy in any way, teams they played gave them a run for their money, it was difficult to make it to the top 8 teams that are safe from playing the playoff and this same thing happened season before this season they won the title, we never thought they'd get this far and they never dominated anything instead it was Arsenal that went invincible so what makes you think that the are going to use this energy as champions to dominate the UCL next season? If it's the Ligue 1 I believe it will always be PSG but the champions league won't be as easy as you say it, other clubs are so hungry to get their hands on PSG especially Arsenal so it will be tough for the Ligue 1 and Champions League winners.

Next season, there will always be something new. Many teams will eventually undergo changes next season. Coaches and some new players will certainly affect the team's performance, which will also impact the competition in the Champions League. 
I cannot speculate before at least seeing how the beginning of the season unfolds.
