Former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal, has claimed that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu would be difficult to defeat if the outcome of the 2027 presidential election is determined by electoral manipulation. Speaking during an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Monday, Lawal argued that no politician currently possesses the capacity to outmaneuver Tinubu in what he described as the politics of election rigging. Asked whether the president was already positioned for victory in 2027, Lawal responded: “Landslide. He’ll rig everybody.” He further stated, “If the parameter for winning elections in Nigeria is rigging, nobody can face Bola Tinubu in this country. If Atiku’s strength is in manipulating results, I wish him luck; he will meet the master rigger in front.” Lawal’s remarks came amid growing political realignments ahead of the next general election and shortly after his exit from the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

Election has not been free, and fair in Nigeria, and in my own perspective, Bola Ahmed Tinubu is so desperate to go back for second tenure, and Bola Ahmed Tinubu knows that ordinarily that wouldn't be possible, that is why he will try his best to manipulate 2027 presidential election. However he cannot remain unstoppable, and for the INEC officials, they should be very careful because if they continue rigging election, the outcome may not be friendly the way they think.

Election has not been free, and fair in Nigeria, and in my own perspective, Bola Ahmed Tinubu is so desperate to go back for second tenure, and Bola Ahmed Tinubu knows that ordinarily that wouldn't be possible, that is why he will try his best to manipulate 2027 presidential election. However he cannot remain unstoppable, and for the INEC officials, they should be very careful because if they continue rigging election, the outcome may not be friendly the way they think.

The unfortunate thing is that Nigerian politics has never been a free and fair process and has always been won by the person that has the capacity to rig the most. that being established, Tinibu is the most fit for such role because he is a master at rigging and getting into power through the backyard.

if our election is conducted in a free and fair manner, the likes of BAT and Atiku will not be close to winning in the election but fact is that the Nigerian election is not followed up with sentiment. if you are just being sentimental with the way politics is going, right before your eyes, Tinibu will still win and there is nothing you can do about it. getting ones PVC is starting to become difficult and the election is already very close. if you are not careful enough, Nigerians will be denied access to getting their voters card which launches the start of rigging.

I honestly can't remember the last time Nigerians generally agreed that an election was completely free and fair. Every election cycle comes with accusations of manipulation, irregularities and political influence. Now let me play a bit of devil’s advocate!!, if elections were to be decided by who is best at political calculations and controlling the system, many Nigerians would argue that Tinubu has shown over the years that he is one of the most strategic politicians in the country. That is why many of his opponents always seem to be playing catch up, like he is way ahead of them in the game.

I am tired of Nigerian politics because of how things have been done, elections in Nigeria are not properly held that is why I don't usually concentrate on it anymore, if you look this administration closely they have conquered every aspect that you help them succeed in winning the second term. This administration I've tried their possible best to destroy every political parties in Nigeria so that they can stand as the only single political party in Nigeria that are capable to run the election in 2027.

We don't need soothsayers to tell us that Tinubu will defeat Atiku by rigging because that has been the system all this while and it won't change now. There's no time that Nigeria has done a free and fair elections in it's history, it has always been rigging and manipulating results to the highest bidder and those that appoints the INEC chairman, the only way is that Nigerians should vote massively for the right candidate and stand by the votes to make it count and if it's manipulated then we go all out to protest and just maybe a revolution can kickstart from there.

Tinubu will definitely want to complete his 8years in office and it's very possible that he will do anything just to win and come back for second tenure, unseating Tinubu won't be easy but it will only take the grace of God and revolution to give us victory to kick him out, I just think that's the only way to unseat him at this point in time.

Correct your words. It is not an accusation it is proven facts. Elections in Nigeria, most especially presidential elections, are manipulated. The most unfortunate thing to know is that the election candidates don't hide it at all. Tinubu literally said this is his time to rule and he will complete his 8-year leadership in Nigeria. Dont that ring a bell? This proves that he has the strongest influence in Nigeria. Those who will be involved in rigging the elections work for him while they are under a huge paycheck.

If we're to say Peter obi, then I have hope for him but I don't have hope for atiku in any way because Tinubu and Atiku are bed of the same feather.  Atiku record when e be vise president no be something wey go encourage Nigerians to vote him again and if real he get good intentions to rule dis country as e keep contesting everytime..

People already know how Nigeria election is being done always which is by rigging, a lot of Nigerians are now losing hopes because they are saying this current inec chairman was brought by tinubu and there is no way he will work out of his favour. which is also why personally seeing it now that this Tinubu must use any possible power to defeat his oppositions.

He’s saying the fact, nobody can defeat Tinubu in 2027 election my broda, that man is going to rule us for 8 good years and nothing we can do about it. Before tinubu came into power what did he say? He said the position belongs to him, “Emi Lokan” they should just give it to him, and now that he is the president of the country you think there’s any chance to stop him from winning the next election? It’s not possible, that man has what it takes to retain his power for the next election.

Honestly, at this point, I only pity us the Nigerians, the pain that we will go through if this man win the next election. We have not done complaining about the price of fuel and everything that increase, kidnappers are doing their own, killing innocent people. Even Atiku will not change this country, and even though we vote for another candidate, they will rig the election and Tinubu will still remain our president.
