I really slowed down my betting in World Cup in general, even in Beat the Bookie also, better for mental health instead of making 5 different picks per day each sportsbook and getting stress from all of it I am making just 1 or 2 now and only on 2 sportsbooks mainly just getting tired of being a punching bag for all the sportsbooks now lol

Very hectic bro, I missed one here and even missed to submit a bet in Beat the Bookie which would have put my balance up $100, all these competitions very hard to follow if you only have computer at office and then you get home and remember but too late.

Later today or tomorrow im gonna build the one for the round 9, im starting to get better in my sense of how to pick the correct bet for this contest, lets see if i can keep scoring points and winning some round prizes.

It's been a hectic period, yeah
Some days it's just managing it, other days it's 5h of work for both of us. It's a lot of stuff but beats regular work any day of the week.

It will calm down a bit after the WC - but we'd like to keep most of what we're doing now. We feel there's room for it in a balanced way - where we wouldn't need to have such short deadlines and everything would run smoothly.

We have a plan for the Marathon that we feel is great so let's see where we land with it.

Oh, this time we have a lot of winning tickets. I was certain that with 9.35 odds I will again be at the top of the event table, but I see that xGennady has a winning ticket with higher odds and more correct answers so I guess it's 2nd or 3rd place for me. Belgium screwed me out of winning my bet in round 8 and an extra 10+ points towards my round score, how the hell did they struggle so much against Senegal who barely made the knockout stage themselves.

So I will draw a blank again in round 8. Seems lots of people won their tickets in this round though, maybe a bad week for the bookies.

The same thing happened to me with Germany. If they had won their game against Paraguay, I would have 5 more points and I would be sitting comfortably at the 1st place with points to spare. This way, I have to settle for sharing second place. I'm glad I've finally gotten closer to the top, but we still have seven rounds left, which is enough to turn everything around.

Yes it seems like that, now for this round 9 which i just submited my ticket i went with highers odds. Not crazy ones but 10+.

The game which gives me more doubt right now is the one between Portugal and Croatia, my feeling is Croatia is gonna make another hit in the world cup like in the past ones, but i also feel like this time Croatia is not that good compared with the previous teams, the odds are super good to back them but is difficult, this Portugal is a complete disaster until now.

Yeah I was just thinking about the workload given the sheer number of projects you are taking care of or participating in yourself. Nice to know though that you have something in mind that you want to continue with in this marathon style. It's a very fun format! You could actually run it with a buy in, right? Can imagine that it is not as easy to find sponsorships outside of times like the World Cup. But I am sure a buy in would be ok for a lot of us. Questions can be answered quickly, don't need too much research, required bet of minimum $10 is cool I think, and adding the odds of the bet slip to the overall score gives it an extra element of fun! So yeah, the 3 merits are a little thank you
