Out of Event 9 already thanks to Mahrez and company not arriving at the Round of 32 for his country. One miserable goal I needed and still they couldn't even do that. The Swiss team was fabulous that game and deserved to win twice, not once. Onward now to pick the new ones for Event 10.

Haha! So, you got screwed by Algeria too? You don't have to be afraid of me taking the first place because I also lost my betting slip (I had BTTS yes). I didn't watch the game, but after 3-3 against Austria and 2-1 win against Jordan, I expected Algeria to score at least one goal. I had a feeling that Switzerland will qualify for the next phase, but I didn't expect it to be this easy for them.

I know Switzerland for sure was gonna win because from Algeria i expect nothing, and is crazy to expect nothing from a team which such good names across the team, i mean they have Mahrez Aouar and a few more good players who plays in good european leagues but somehow they always manage to perform below the level.

LOL at @buwa again, of all things to go down, at least we all did it right with Argentina   Even lost my freebets because of them.

Egypt is not known for corners though, what was going on in your mind when you took it? I would fully expect Australia to be the ones with more corners.

Anyway, feels nice to be relaxed after submitting yesterday, now everything gonna happen all together once Road to Glory starts again from quarterfinals!!

Well, well, well. I actually only have $10 left in my Jackpotter after flying high for so long. Don't want to tell you what amazingly dumb bet I did to crank my balance to zero, but I better win something soon or another deposit incoming, and I'm already over my initial (optimistic) limit ha!

This is happening way too often in our competition....really not the best look for us

OK I lost my 8th Jackpotter bet in a row.
My bets were destroyed by late goals, a soft penalty and maybe my bets were just stupid

I'm glad that I managed to stay in the second place for finishing 3rd in Round #9. But I have a question. Why did I finish 3rd and xLays finished 2nd? We missed the minute of the first goal by the same amount of minutes. The only sifference is that I put 3 minutes earlier and xLays put 3 minutes later. Oh, I just realized... It's because he submitted earlier than me, right?

Yup, it's in the rules. I even quoted them in a post in which I announced the winners

In Road to Glory it seemed unfair to ever take time of submission into account so we will look at the precise time there - but in these competitions we usually have the 'first submission' rule if it's equal.
It's really uncommon - so it's the most convenient way.

Great! Thanks for the explanation. Somehow I missed the tag for the post where you announced the winners. Since I participate in three events, It's getting pretty hard to catch up on all the posts where I am getting tagged. I'm just happy that I didn't forget to submit my answers on any of the events.

Man the guys at the top @paco92x and @xGennady (funny both have x in their names right) really know how to play this tournament. Like just 4 and 5 or 1st and 2nd finishes nothing small like little guys like me lol

Man I need 1 more big win if I even want to hope to catch up here.
