Binance moves NFT support from its exchange to Binance Wallet

According to Binance,

To provide a more seamless and integrated NFT experience, we are upgrading the Binance NFT service to be made available on Binance Wallet, where users can manage their NFTs with easier access to Web3 and decentralized features.

Starting 2026-06-03, users holding transferable NFTs on Binance will have one month to withdraw their NFTs to their Binance Wallet or any other compatible wallets of their choice to continue managing their digital assets. Once the upgrade is complete on 2026-07-03, users will no longer access support for the current NFT service on Binance Exchange and any NFTs not withdrawn by then will no longer be accessible.

So I guess the era of NFT's are over with this announcement as Binance are shutting down their NFT support and moving the service to Binance. Just a couple of years ago, NFT's was one of the hottest hype in the world of crypto.

That a simple image will make someone rich overtime. But as what we have seen before, from the ICO hype to NFT's, as some point in time, investors will have fatigue and a new hype will re-emerge.

It might have taken NFTs longer, but its inevitable.

Binance is reactive and they're prioritizing what's marketable and in demand. And with the NFTs dying, they have no choice but to drop the support there.

That's a good decision for them because it's only eating up space of their exchange. But they're also giving that alternative through their binance wallet.

a new hype will re-emerge.

It's very likely but maybe after this bear market.

Making NFT available in their exchange doesn't make sense in the first place in my opinion.

Right now their web3 wallet has matured and become as good as metamask if not better minus the decentralization, it makes more sense to migrate the feature to their wallet.
