Is there any remarkable thing you have done with your gambling winning?

Unfortunately I gamble for myself, I mean for now my family never knows I gamble, they know I am clean from the world of gambling.

So, on that basis I have never done anything extraordinary from my gambling winnings, that's specifically for my family, but for my friends, I have, where I once won a large amount gambling, I withdrew 70% of the money to spend with my friends, the other 30% I left in the balance to bet again.

Where I treat them to something extraordinary, I give them money and so on, but I only do that once, otherwise I don't, I use the money from my winnings for myself personally.

People only talk about the losses they incur but they fail to talk about their wins. Personally, I have not really won a lot of money from gambling but I have been able to buy a few gadgets that I need for work and my personal business. It is important to always take out your profits and use them for something that's beneficial instead of putting it all back into gambling. Using profits to gamble isn't a wise thing to do.

Anyway, I have had a good win in my gambling activities.  All of those wins, I gave to my parents.  I am still single, so I let my parents do the budgeting and let them hold my money.  I am not fond of vacations or anything else.  I am more comfortable playing on my pc whenever I have free time.  So aside from buying some pc parts and games, all my winnings goes to my parents.

I'm not really sure there's anything really worth boasting off. As gambling to me might just be for the fun of it, I simply take my wins and either treat myself on some good meals or go out to a place I really want to go to. Sometimes we don't have to get out head all wrapped up because of gambling wins, that's because losses will still come. Don't put too much focus on amounts that have not even be won. You can imagine someone planning on something he wants to buy with money he hasn't seen and the probability that he will not even win id very much high. That's why you should try to be realistic with yourself when it comes to gambling and avoid anything that could put you on an emotional state..

I have feed people in their lowest and guess what, they still cherish that day that anytime we see and have those discussion, they do bring it up so we can have memories and chat. I have used gambling money to gift a woman, yea I did it out of love even though I did it out of love but the outcome wasn't good, we learn every day actually. I have also use gambling money to take care of myself, I have use it to look good and I have use it to eat good meal for months.

If you are gambling, your gambling money should help you cover basic things instead of trying to make changing life money. If you continue to chase big bag of money, you migjt one day not have anything but if you focus on what you can afford to lose and chase moderate wins, you will make good money that after sometime and you do the maths of what you have win, you will see that you have made good money faster than people that are chasing big win.

No, I have not found myself in such scenario, because I have never been able to score anything remarkable during my gamling sessions, I have just been able to pocket few dollars or some cents at the time. And I would not be even keeping in mind money I have lost in previous sessions, so I am pretty sure I am sitting at a loss to the house which I have not been able to made up for.

Also, we should also consider wealth is quite relative and depends on the social and economical status of the person who is gambling, if I won several thousands of dollars I would certainly change my life in the mid-term and I would consider not to gamble for years (so I would not lose that money), but thousands of dollars is not enough for someone living in developed nations within the European Union and the United States/Canada.

I have not made any significant profit in gambling till now but I once made a profit of $300 by betting on a cricket match and I could not do anything significant with that profit but I bought a bicycle for a poor boy for $150 to go to school. Then I spend the rest of the money to support my family. Since then I have lost most of my gambling bets but whenever I have made some profit I have used that profit to support my family and used it again to gamble.

I don't really know what op means by remarkable things we have used our gambling profits to do but I think this should not be about that but about how we have been making profits from gambling. There are so many of us that don't often make profits from gambling but because of the hop of becoming profitable one day, we continue betting hoping that we shall make huge profits soon.

One of the most remarkable things I can remember i did with my gambling win many years ago was buying a cookware. It is something i hold dear because it came at the time i needed it the most. Now, despite being in a better economic position and the cookware gifted to family, i still hold it dear to my heart.

IMO, as much as possible, let's spend those winnings on something else. If it's important, then buy it. As long as it will help us spend the money on something better than gambling it back and losing it all again.

Putting the money back into gambling and trying to risk more in order to get more win is a very bad idea and it will cost you losing everything once again if you’re not careful. Wins and profits are suppose to be withdrawn and enjoyed, not risking everything back and being greedy to want to take more from the market after getting to benefit from it. Profiting from bets consistently is not assured, so why gamble more your little win instead of withdrawing and spending it for yourself in order to feel the benefits of gambling you’ve just earned for yourself.

The problem with most people is that, their are gambling with high expectations of winning, but they forget to know that gambling winnings are just by luck and if you are playing in-house games that have a house edge, that is another limitation to your winnings since the system is designed to favour the house so losing becomes very obvious.

Gambling lose record higher amount than winnings most times, and we should not forget to apply every risk management measure to gamble with a very low amount of money.

This topic seems to be a repeated and recycled topic but anyways,  my profit or winnings from gambling were used meticulously. I use my win for my bills and other family exercise as it avails itself and funny enough, most of my wins comes in when it seems that bills are up for me to attend to so when I record any win I make sure to use it for the bills as I believe that was exactly the reason why the win was effective and it has been repeating in this manner for quite some time now
