To be honest nowadays I have been seeing people talking much on addiction which I think is not a bad idea but a good step to draw back their attention to know when they are on their right senses or not.
To sincere, many people talks about loses but I haven’t heard them talking about what they had won through their gambling and what things they have been able to do with their gambling winnings, like during their period of gambling what have been Abel to do with the amount won so far gambling whereby you would looked at yourself and said: “If not that I placed this bet I wouldn’t had won such amount that I used in acquiring something that such person cannot never forget in their life”.

If someone gets attached to small wins like that that is not good for them, only people who win big lotteries could be considered to have won so much that they will never forget those things in their lives.

Question is that have you found yourself in such scenario before?
And if you do what can you truly boost with your life on what you had ever achieved from gambling? Here is open for much interaction and I have been focusing on our local section for a while and I decided to expand my thinking and level of reasoning to know if others are also In line on what I have in mind or not. I have made some reasonable wins like many other people who have posted here. In my case one time I bought myself a new smartphone because I was on schedule for a replacement after having the same one for 5 years. On another case from sports bets I did some extra maintenance for my car, you know the kind of things that many people do not change until it fails completely since they abuse their cars. There were a more cases but these are the ones that I remember right now, but I would not consider this something that I can't forget in life. It is nothing special. Maybe if I had won a lot like $100k or a 1 million could I consider it a life changing event. Winning hundreds or thousands occasionally after losing regularly and possibly losing more between the big wins is not remarkable.

Well, maybe because most gamblers really don't have something material stuff of great value that they acquire from winning in gambling. When someone wins a big amount, the first thing that comes to our mind is to celebrate. Spend that money eating at a fine restaurant and drinking afterwards. This has always been the setup ever since.
Some gamblers may have bought something, but not as remarkable as purchasing a brand new car, a property, or something game-changer.

Question is that have you found yourself in such scenario before?
And if you do what can you truly boost with your life on what you had ever achieved from gambling?

I do, but I forgot how I spent those winnings, lol. I remember one time I paid it for my mortgage, so I don't have to think of it in the next payment cycle. Again, that really helps, but not really remarkable, lol.

I don't have much of such experience, but something similar just happened to someone I know last month, where he was able to win a significant amount, which he can't stop talking about. It was on a slot game, and now his betting shop is on the way to being opened, as he invested 80% of the money in the shop since he considers it a business that moves very well around his area. Nah I always keep gambling with my profits. Ez come ez go. I don’t make profits most of the time anyway. I always consider my gambling money lost. So I prepare myself beforehand. If/when I lose money, that way I can take it easily. If I happen to win, I keep playing till I lose all of them. I do that I know I’ll be coming back eventually. I never paid for anything remarkable with gambling money, just some minor expenses, like food, bills and also some investments. Anyway, the losses are much superior on the bigger picture after a while, meaning all the purchases made so far are nothing compared to the total amount of money lost. I don't have a long story to tell but there has been a time when a significant win from gambling did a lot for me and that is what I will share briefly. I have a different condition here because even though I gamble and it is not uncommon for me to get a sizable win but my partner does not want to accept the proceeds from gambling and only asks for money from my work so that the total winnings i get from gambling usually go more into my personal pocket which I can use for unexpected needs or just for eating or looking for drinks with coworkers the rest part just goes back into my gambling wallet.  My partner does not prohibit me from gambling but he also has a principle that he will not touch anything related to gambling including for the money that I can win and I do not force it because for me it is indeed a choice that must be respected so that the money from gambling is only used for personal needs in the end.

You can't expect people to talk about their wins because others might misinterpret it or think that you are being boastful. It's okay to just stay low-key and let people think that you are facing a huge loss in gambling but in reality, luck has brought you far and made you what you are today.

I have taken a couple vacations that were paid for from sports bets. Did really well in college football when Joe Burrow led LSU to the national championship in 2020. The bookies were just giving away money as LSU was covering everything that season. Hard not to do when you got Burrow throwing to Chase and Justin Jefferson.

Talking about addiction does not mean the person can't get addicted if they are overinformed; some are already addicted to gambling and are looking for means to get themselves off it, while there are those who seek a pattern that can help them prevent it. Some see the sign and just get it ignored, which is where the major issue usually starts from. Responsible gambling is one big thing for most gamblers to practise.

I didn't won so much money as if it's a jackpot. But usually whenever I win, I take a part of it and will save it for myself.

While with the remaining money that I have, I'm using that to gamble and enjoy it. Whatever is the outcome with that money won't be so painful to me.

I think the fact that until now you were able to maintain balance with gambling, for entertainment and for making additional income, that alone is already something remarkable since not everyone who enters gambling could be making both. If you haven't had one good testimony of what gamblers uses their winning for, I'll be glad to tell you that a friend of mine had been able to acquired a large portfolio on Bitcoin investment through his gambling income when he hit a jackpots of #25,000,000 two years back.

Addiction doesn’t care about how informed you are about a thing, in this case gambling. It in actually depends on your affinity towards an activity or the game and that’s not entirely up to you. The game would always call to you, it’s left for you to decide if you would allow it control how you approach it or not.

When it comes to gambling wins and having to do something remarkable with it, I haven’t archived that much of a significant success at the games and so, there isn’t anything remarkable I’ve done through gambling wins.
