don't underrate the place of the gambling adverts that is flowing here and there on the media space. that is partly the reason why a lot of people got involved in gambling. most of the content you find on the media space always ends with the promotion of gambling and wether you are at work fully engaged and just decides to watch a comedy or just sitting at home scrolling through your news feed, you get exposed to gambling and that has brought more people into the gambling space than some of the things you have listed here.

for me, seeing those that are in my circle play and win attracts me the most.

Usually this those situations you have mentioned are contributing factors for people to gamble, since they maybe want to achieve something new to them and try if by doing this things they can ease out those situations bothering them.

But for me as experience gambler, I'm done with those emotional matters. Since what make me decide to gamble now is good promotions and also tournaments that have great rewards. Also in sports betting if there's big sports events on or the league I'm watching is not on playoffs or even in finals.

I am not a rich guy (yet), but things related to finance, like making money or doubling money fast, never become reasons for me to gamble (at least for the last few years). But back then, yes, those were the reasons, until I realized gambling is for fun, not for economic purposes.

Now, the things that attract me more to gamble are simply because I have nothing to do and feel bored with my routine, even when I have other hobbies, access to Netflix, and cool games on my mobile or PC. From my own understanding I think the major thing that make some of the peoples attracting to the gambling is because of money, as most of them seeing their friends winning gives amount of money they think is easy to cast out in games. You mentioned many important reasons here due to which peoples start gambling but you didn't mention the most important one which i believe many peoples underestimate this was chasing emotions . I met many  gamblers and for them gambling was mostly about the thrill and emotions. They did gamble for fun .  When a bet wins that rush of excitement feels different  and sometimes people keep chasing that feeling more than the money itself. I think that is one of the biggest reasons many people get attracted to gambling and eventually fall into addiction without even realizing it. When someone sees that his money has increased several times after betting, he thinks one thing, that is that money is increasing without any kind of effort. That creates a lot of happiness in them. This things attracts them to gambling again. They know that gambling addiction will never bring them anything good, rather it will cause them losses, but still they want to bet. I am surprised how you did not make mentioned about others also gambling for entertainment or you are not aware that there are people who gambles and craves for fun experiences all along?

However, I don't know about the reasons for others but that is majorly why I gambles. Alongside, I am expecting to play if I can also make some profits which is why I put a lot of efforts to analyse the games before taking my decisions.

And for healthy being, I am conscious not to depart away from my principles of disciplines but to maintain responsible gambling status quo because I know at the end I might loose more than I will win in the long which it does not worth investing more than I can afford to loose.

If anything from this list makes you want to gamble, you should stop with gambling activities right away. This means you have a problem, or better to say a few problems... psychological & emotional ones.

Personally, what I find really addicting in gambling is the hope that they sell- the hope that you have the opportunity to double your money in a span of seconds; the hope of winning the jackpot that can change my life in an instant; and the hope that I would be able to earn some money conveniently without even working as much.

Of course, all of the things that I have stated are the things that is ideal. If everything goes right and into the direction that I am hoping for, then everything would happen quickly. However this is far from reality because with the hope that gambling gives, it necessarily includes the chance of me losing everything in an instant.

The reason why I  gamble is because am a football fan, so i see at as means of an entertainment. My friends and I share booking codes for fun not because we are aiming to become rich through it.  Depending on gambling as a means of survival is very bad. Even someone is struggling with their finances or are from a poor background, gambling shouldn't be be something they should focus on. Because of its risk and uncertainty. They are other better ways to get good and money with less risk emg applying for jobs, building your business or brand,and develop yourself in terms of skills and other aspects. When someone put gambling as a means of survival, they will lose more that they win.
