And yeah, when a new show that I have been waiting for airs the new episode or something, then yeah I feel happy and watch that. But if not, which is most of the time, I have absolutely nothing to do. Some people play pc games, some goes to gym, and I just gamble. Because that is not only a hobby, but also an indicator that I am alive, I am not just some stat, I am alive and actually feeling something when I do that.

Maybe this has to be put on vote because I have seen different responses and many of which are avoiding the financial expectation or benefit if they happen to win. Although some people are rich and may not be focusing on the financial benefit but many gamblers including myself would wish to win and make an addition of what I use to gamble. So, it is when the loss becomes a reality that the second need is achieved or realized which is the entertainment and fun aspect. If I achieve winning, the fun is well appreciated. But where the winning didn't come, I have fun with the losing and the game for the moment because there is always an opportunity to try again next time.

I agree, the feeling of a quick adrenaline rush is what's so appealing. It's hard to find it in the daily grind work, home, and so on. That adrenaline rush is the entertainment for most of us, we don't enter a casino basically to get rich from it but to feel some thrills about taking small chances to win something, not like you're desperate to win but sort of challenging your luck and ability to make correct predictions. You are the most honest person here and that's the main reason why people gamble. People gamble because of finance, it may not be that kind of life changing money but it's money they want whether the gambling is for fun or it's for money, the money is still the motivation. Even if you are gambling to kill time, you are still gambling to make money because money is involved. If money is not involve, people will use their time for other things that will take their time.

The casino that says gamble for fun are purposely there to increase their finance, there are some days they don't make profit because the gamblers win money from them but the very day customers lose money, that they their reserve will increase exponentially. It's normal to gamble for finances but when you depend on it like you don't have any means to survive you will not enjoy gambling at all, you will not see any good side of gambling but money and when you lose, you will be angry.

This will be a stupid reason why someone will decide to start gambling. How can not receiving financial support from family members and relatives lead someone into gambling. I love your response here. Plenty gamblers are suffering today because of their dishonesty in gambling. Once you are not honest with yourself, it becomes very difficult for you to succeed. It is good for you to identify and understand your intentions behind your decision to gamble in the first place and afterwards, guide yourself well in order not to go astray. Many of this gamblers always get the approach of gambling wrong and pushes themselves into making quick money from gambling when that approach is a very risky one. Having the mindset of making quick money from gambling always ends other wise instead let see it as a fun activity and go into it with the money we can afford to loss so we wouldn’t risk more.

Although I agree with some of your points, I personally do not find some of your points correct, such as:
"Disappointment with the government" is not actually the main reason for gambling. Because people in many countries are disappointed with the government, yet they do not gamble.

"Not wanting to work and running away from responsibility" does not apply to everyone.

However, in my opinion, the things that attract us the most to gambling are entertainment, excitement, the thrill of taking risks, the hope of quick profits, and the strong desire to cover losses. If these are excessive, a person can become addicted to gambling.

That's the difficult part when it comes to gambling, especially when a player loses his bets. The acceptance. IMO, as much as possible, we should have fun from the very start. It should not be the other way around. There's nothing joyful when we lose so much. While we are at the game, let's enjoy every roll we make on a slot or every bet we place on sports.

For me, the attraction comes when you have a mindset to win. When I see that I can double my money because I place a bet on a team or a player that is likely to win, that's when my urge to gamble is alive. Those who are fans of a team or their favorite player also have the fun part when watching them play while they place their money on the line.
