Why Many People Understand Bitcoin but Still Don’t Buy It.

To me, I feel not everyone can handle the volatility of the market and still remain emotional stable to see how the money fluctuates up and down, without knowing what next would happen to their Bitcoin investment.

Many people are fearful of Bitcoin investment despite the fact the knows how the market works, but having them stick around without reacting to price declines of Bitcoin is what feels very hard for them to do, so that they will save themselves from the emotional stress Bitcoin would cause to them.

Understanding how Bitcoin works is one thing, but having discipline to hold through the ups and downs of the market is something entirely different, so many people panic and get when they see their investment drop down percentage even when they know the market could be good and recover later and thats why bitcoin is not only about knowledge it also requires patience and not everyone has patience.

We see some people who understand the concept of Bitcoin but choose not to purchase it for the same reason that people hope for price drops, so they can accumulate it cheaply. This is because intellectual understanding of Bitcoin differs from being willing to take on the risks associated with owning due to volatility and operating responsibilities with real money.
Only a select few who recognize that Bitcoin is here to stay can make the decision to invest in it.

Those people you are referring to that claims to know much about bitcoin and for same reason decided to wait till when price drop before they buy are doing that because they see bitcoin as a place to only make money,  what they are trying to study is the best opportunity that will give them the best profit result which some of them never get satisfied, they keep on seeking for a lower market only few of them buys bitcoin and such type of people can easily fade away in every little fear they sense in the market.

Maybe not everyone who wants to purchase Bitcoin has faith in it, and it's possible that such group will quickly disappear as a result of some market anxiety.
Some people might wait for the dump to occur while saving the money they will need because of their income level. But, we would be lying to ourselves  if we didn't all support Bitcoin because of the opportunity it created.

One thing I know that stop people from investing in bitcoin is that, they are not ready to lose. Bitcoin is a highly volatile, risky asset and anytime losses could appear especially if you decide to sell at a wrong timing.

To support this, the problem is not really about bitcoin as the first investment cryptocurrency but many people started with altcoins especially shit coins and they lost heavily. Let me just give you a simple reason that can make people not buy bitcoin, the reason is very simple and it is that they do not know what bitcoin is. Anyone that know what bitcoin is will be tempted to buy bitcoin, but the temptation is a very good one because it will later pay the person.

Because the price increases and they wait for the price to decrease. I will not say that people do not buy Bitcoin even though they understand about Bitcoin. Of course, people buy Bitcoin but cannot hold it.

Having the knowledge and understanding about bitcoin and having the ability to invest in it are two different things.

Let me tell you this. Any one who know about bitcoin, like they have studied bitcoin very well and have become very familiar wit it and yet he or she not buying bitcoin, such person is likely buying some shitcoins out there and the reason for this is due to the price of bitcoin.

Many new people who come into crypto and are not well lectured on the price of bitcoin will feel that Bitcoin is already too expensive, they will prefer to go buy another cryptocurrency that is way cheaper than bitcoin where even a $10 investment get them at least thousands of tokens.
I know this because I've meet alot of new crypto enthusiasts who will tell me that they can't afford to buy bitcoin because it's too expensive, that they will rather look for a cheaper altcoin and buy, and even when I try to explain to them that with whatever amount of money they have, they can buy bitcoin worth that amount, it still does not sit well with some of them, they want to own thousands of tokens with small investments capital rather than own a number after a decimal in an expensive coin.

One interesting thing about bitcoin adoption is that people may have the understanding and knowledge about bitcoin but that those not automatically lead them to buy or own bitcoin.

Being in the sidelines to make sure money from ads comes in safe is simply hiding place for them. At the end of the day, the one who decides to buy a part of a coin bravely, is a true investor, the others are just the "gurus", who like to lecture instead of invest and are fearless.

I get your point but I think op has listed good points and according to you, you're simply saying, anyone who haven't bought bitcoin is because they haven't known bitcoin right?
But I put it to you that, there are people who have truly known bitcoin and have so much knowledge about it but yet don't hold bitcoin? And that is where the last point op stated comes in because one of the major reason why someone who knows so much about isn't holding should be lack of purchasing power especially in a highly recessive economy like we have now, so I don't buy your idea of saying that, anyone not holding bitcoin is simply because they don't know it.

You are right and about patience too, if you have enough and you are doing all you know to get things right which are working for you or still not going well, believe me when I say this, that there are still people who would still love to seek advise from these persons even if they know that the person giving the advise doesn't have the intention of trying such as long as they benefit from their knowledge, we are humans and in as much as Bitcoin struggle pays a lot we still want more

What is making many people don’t study harder in bitcoin some don’t have that patience enough to invest in bitcoin but anyone that understands bitcoin and have the experience will surly know that you will get profit when you invest in it but people don’t like long term investment is just few that are patient to keep there coin for long term. Bitcoin is easy to understand and invest, is only some investors that is making it difficult for newbie’s to understand.

There is a saying that, where is no risk, there is no reward. Fear is one thing that can hinder somebody's financial progress, especially when you know the truth about something, and you refuse to make a move. To me, the risk in bitcoin is just the same risk that is involved in other asset, especially when you are investing for long term purpose.  I disagree that they understand it, maybe they just know that it's a digital currency used for transactions but they don't really understand it cause if they do there won't be any reason for most of the stuffs you mentioned for instance fear of making errors, someone who understands Bitcoin should know the right means of saving it and where to buy it from.

One of the reasons again can be the inability to make money quickly from Bitcoin investments.
