Gambling is a psychological activity and someone have to be fully prepared for it before continuing with it because it one is not ready, gambling can mess with their mental health, just the way we have heard the stories of people that collapsed and died after losing their bet and that part of what we are talking about, if you can not deal with losses, then don't gamble at at or don't risk the amount you can not afford to lose because that's what makes some people to have challenges while gambling.

Maybe newbies could make the mistake of perceiving gambling as a source of income. This is understandable because they don't have experience and might have been misinformed. But when I see those who have been gambling for a long time suffer from psychological, physical, or mental illness because of their actions, I blame them. Greed motivates people to gamble with more than they can afford. And some of them end up going as far as borrowing to finance gambling, which leads to health problems.

Absolutely correct. One needs to understand this basic fact that most people lose money in gambling.
So if a person is starting to gamble then he needs to acknowledge this fact and always gamble knowing that he might lose money.

The idea is very simple. Before you take parent In gambling, you should have it at the back of your mind that gambling is very risky and losses are a part of the game. Alot of people that I've seen who tried to stop literally were not able to. Not that the were addicted, bit there's just this thing with gambling and when it gets into someone, they simply might not be able to control how they think. They simply act under the influence. We keep playing because we want to experience the emotions that winning gives us. I definitely don't play for the money, because my bets are small and the potential winnings are also small, just like the losses. I don't call this topic just mere advice,  it is the real truth that people must know before deciding to gamble. Irrespective of how careful a player is, losses must happen and the ability to plan for them and handle them is what determine how well we will do as gamblers. There are many similar topics in this forum and in every gambling related topic, this issue is regularly discussed that if someone does not have the ability to lose in gambling, then he should not gamble. Because gambling does not guarantee anyone winning, financial advice should never be taken from gambling. Everyone should think of gambling only as a place of pleasure. Those who are not responsible gamblers do not put any kind of limitation in their gambling, due to which they easily lose control within themselves. And they are the ones who are very addicted to gambling. Sources of income are those where you work hard and in return you get money.
