I agree with you, the safety of the citizens is what we need to talk about, how the leaders can't just save the citizens because of this insecurity issues everywhere, people no longer  have freedom to their life's again and how people are being wicked to each other just because of money and loosing the life of innocent souls almost each passing day, we wish the president can find solutions to our problems and hear the heart cry of this soul, while people are trying to survival and how it even looking they are fighting for their self and family such a country.

Let me tell you something my bro,if government wants to end banditry within the country it wouldn't take them more than 72 hrs to do it. Government have the capacity to end insecurity within the country but they don't want to do it. They are simply playing politics with the future of Nigeria. Nigeria is currently under siege,no part of this country is safe as bandits can strike anyone at will and nothing will happen. The government is intentionally allowing bandits to kidnapped people so that ransom money can be paid to bandits and then the money will now be used to buy weapons to strengthen their attacks. They are indirectly empowering and strengthening bandit attacks because of one reason or another. The truth be told Nigeria is not safe and was never safe since the emerging of boko hama and other islamic terrorists groups.

Exactly, the government has hands in this, I was telling someone this when we were having discussion, I told him that when there's security issues in the country and the government finds it difficult to solve just know that the government created the problem meaning that they are part of it, when Abacha made a similar statement, so to me I'm very much convinced that there's politics behind what Nigerians are experiencing, to some people it is just a security problem but when you look deep, there are bigger problems to be faced it the madness does not stop, I'm glad to know that there are guys who think exactly they way I'm viewing this banditry ship going on in our country Nigeria.

Yes, I very much agree to what you just said above regarding whenever there is an insecurity challenge in this country that it implies that the either the government or it's operating bodies all have an hand in it. Because not only did Abacha said it many years ago that whenever a security challenge exceed more than 24hrs, we should know that th government have a hand in it, but also recently a terrorist sympathizer, in the person of "Sheikh Ahmad Gumi" who happens to be a retired military personnel who retired at the rank of an army captain also said it on live television that government knows all these bandits and where they stays. And for the fact that government knows all these bandits and where they stay and yet have not been able to do anything about it. It clearly means that this bandits operation is so big that the people controlling these boys are actively in the military and in government.

I don’t believe you OP, there are people who are safe in this country, even with the level of insecurity in the country, you can’t tell me that it’s everyone that can be kidnapped or attacked, the politicians they have a very strong security personnel so you don’t expect them to be attacked by criminals, or the Presidential convoy, this are people who are safe and guided by heavy security, this is why I said they are individuals who absolutely safe from what is happening in the country, you know majority of the politicians there family’s aren’t here in this country, anyone that the family is here, then I must say that they have a very good and strong reliable security.
You have a point that some politicians and top government officials are better protected because they have access to armed security personnel. However, that doesn't mean the insecurity problem is any less serious. A country cannot be judged by how safe a privileged few are, but by how safe ordinary citizens feel in their daily lives.

The real responsibility of any government is to create an environment where everyone not just public office holders can live, work, and travel without fear. Until that becomes the reality, insecurity remains a major national challenge that deserves urgent attention.

The safety of all citizens in Nigeria now is what no one can predict  as corruption has eaten up all sector and made the country a lawless one. Since the existence of the current administration is will say all citizens are confused and can't tell what the country is turning to because I have never seen any reasonable decision taken by the president in regards to finding solution to the problem, all he and his administration is interested at is how to get back to power in the forth coming election.
The only thing we need now is change in government because this current administration has know positive plan for this great country Nigeria.

The safety of the citizens is the least we should talk about now base on this regime and how the system is operating. Insecurity has overtake everything, people are no longer safe in our community. The reason why the president chose to stay silent about it is because the insecurity of kidnapping cases has not effect any of their family members because they have tight security. Finding solutions to our problems will be more easier if our leaders or the Mr. President is willing to support us and stand strongly/ firmly to fight against the criminals, corruption and address the issue of insecurity.

I think its wrong saying the safety of all citizens is the least to talk  about for now because if there is no citizens there won't be government.
Facing corruption is the greatest challenge for now in Nigeria because the corruption we are talking about is protected by insecurity and cannot be eliminated until we find all the possible means of reducing and disorganising insecurity as corruption can not be eliminated when the walls surrounding it is still strong.
Although assuming corruption can be eliminated in Nigeria,  I don't think there would be any country better than them in time to come

The topic of this thread says, 'no one is safe under a Tinubu administration' and I so much agree with it. No one is truly safe in this country bassed on the condition we currently find ourselves. The administration has failed us woefully in terms of security and I will describe the current situation of the country with a kitten or pup who's left to the to his own self by the mother rat in the den of cats. It means the pup who is already a vulnerable size of itself have now been left in a state where he is more vulnerable than he was and an environment where he or she can easily be used as a sacrificial lamb. This is the same situation we have found ourselves under this present administration and the government does not seem to be ready to do any thing about it whatsoever.
