HydraX is a free, actively-developed miner for NVIDIA GPUs and CPUs. It's our own
code and CUDA kernels (a cleanroom build — not a rebadged fork), it ships with no
config files (edit a .bat and go), and it can mine a GPU coin and Monero on your
CPU at the same time. Currently in open beta — NVIDIA only for now.

Quick start

• Download + unzip.
• Open the mine-<coin>.bat in Notepad, paste in your wallet, save.
• Double-click it. (Or run watchdog.bat to keep it alive.)

Pools
Works with standard stratum pools (2Miners tested + recommended), including NiceHash /
EthereumStratum-style extranonce pools. Shared or solo.

Requirements

• NVIDIA GPU — RTX 30 / 40 / 50 series, ~6 GB+ VRAM (for the DAG)
• 64-bit Windows + a recent NVIDIA driver
• Monero/RandomX: a few GB free RAM; large pages help
• NVIDIA only for now — AMD (OpenCL/HIP) is in progress

Dev fee
1% — for ~36 seconds of every hour the miner mines to the developer's wallet, then
switches back to yours. It applies across the coins you mine and keeps HydraX free and
maintained. Fully disclosed — nothing hidden.

Trust & safety

• Unsigned beta — Windows SmartScreen may warn: "More info" → "Run anyway".
• Antivirus engines false-flag miners (all of them); add an exclusion if needed.
• Happy to provide a VirusTotal scan, and source-level details under NDA, on request.

Open beta update — first real hashrate numbers (and let's build a community table)

Sharing measured numbers from my own rig instead of just bumping. HydraX v2.1.2, Windows x64:

Dual-mining, ONE app, simultaneously:
  RVN 41 MH/s (GPU)  +  XMR 8.3 kH/s (CPU)

A few things I learned testing it:
- Dual GPU + CPU on a single app - run a GPU coin (ETC or a KawPow coin) and Monero on the CPU at the same time, so idle CPU isn't wasted.
- Run as admin so it can lock core/mem clocks - that was the difference between ~89 and ~107 MH/s on Etchash for me.
- 1% dev fee, stated up front (about 36s/hour). No hidden second fee.
- NVIDIA only for now (RTX 30/40/50 series). AMD support is in progress.

Bump, miners — this is the big one. Built by miners who build the miner.

🐉 Pearl (PRL / pearlhash) — now on RTX 30 / 40 / 50. The 50-series rips on a TMA super-stripe kernel; a brand-new WMMA fallback brings the 30 and 40 series into Pearl mining too — nobody gets left on the bench. Pool-verified ~145 TH/s on an RTX 5070 Ti, ahead of the established pearlhash miners on the same card. As fast as the 3% miner, at the price of the 1% miner.

🔥 The COMPLETE dual matrix — 12 ready-made combos, free. Every GPU coin (Pearl, Ethereum Classic, Ravencoin, Neoxa, Neurai, Frencoin) pairs with either CPU coin (Monero, Xelis). Double-click a mine-*.bat — your GPU works one coin while your CPU mines another, on hardware you already own.

✅ A truly transparent 1% dev fee. Flat 1% on every coin via a rolling, disk-persisted timer — restarting can't dodge it. In a dual it's 1% of the GPU coin AND 1% of the CPU coin, independently. Genuinely 1%, never more. We document exactly how it works because honesty is the brand.

Conf-less: edit a bat, double-click — it auto-elevates for full clock-lock + large pages, the watchdog auto-restarts, and runtime DLLs are bundled (no CUDA toolkit needed). Cleanroom — not a fork. NVIDIA only; AMD in progress.

Signing, SHA-256, timestamped. And Microsoft Defender — the scanner on virtually
every Windows machine — scans the signed build clean (current signatures,
real-time + PUA protection on, 0 threats). The VirusTotal noise you'll see on any
miner is the generic coin-miner category flag that every miner trips — ours
included; the signature proves who built it and that it hasn't been touched.

⚡ HydraX Miner v3.3.1 — full-speed Ravencoin, RTX 40-series fixed, now on Linux & HiveOS ⚡

Bump, miners. Built by miners who build the miner.

⚡ Ravencoin / KawPow back to full speed. A runtime issue in v3.3.0 was quietly capping KawPow well below where it should run — v3.3.1 fixes it: ~97 MH/s on a 5090, ~57 on a 4090, ~17 on a 3060 Ti. If RVN felt slow on the last build, this is why.

🟢 RTX 40-series (4060–4090) support fixed. Earlier builds silently left out the Ada (sm_89) GPU code, so 40-series cards — especially on Linux/HiveOS — got nothing. v3.3.1 ships every current generation in one binary: sm_80 / 86 / 89 / 120. No silent gaps.

🐧 Native Linux + a new HiveOS build — all coins validated. Linux x86-64 (CUDA 13) and a dedicated HiveOS build (CUDA 12). Every coin tested with live accepted shares across 30/40/50-series cards. Drop the HiveOS build into a flight sheet and go.

🎛️ Auto-overclock is now OFF by default. You asked — we listened. No clocks, power or fan curves touched unless you opt in (auto_oc = true). Out of the box it mines on your own settings, and it never exceeds your card's own limits. Your rig, your call.

🐉 The same complete stack. Pearl (pearlhash) on RTX 30/40/50, plus Kaspa, Quai, Ethereum Classic, Ravencoin, Neurai & Frencoin on the GPU and Monero & Xelis on the CPU — 12 ready-made dual combos. Cleanroom CUDA, not a fork. NVIDIA only; AMD in progress.
