Trading may look easy from the outside but once you go into the market, that’s where you would realize that it’s not easy as you think. I have trade before, and one thing I have learnt is that profit does not come every time. Even experience traders still encounter losses in sometimes. The only difference is that they  know how to manage risk and they don’t allow bad traders to wipe their account.
When a person doesn’t have enough experience, spot trading is more safer more than futures. Futures  may give big profit, but it can still make you lose your money quickly because of leverage. Spot  trading gives you time to hold your coin when the price drops, while futures can liquidate your position within minutes. My advice for you beginners is that, learn technical analysis, never use money that you can’t afford to lose and avoid over trading because of greed.

Leveraged trading is no different from gambling, regardless of the pair you trade or the leverage.
If we are truly serious about trading, the right approach is to stay away from the future and focus more on spot trading. According to basic investment principles, the first thing a new investor should learn is how to survive in the market, not how to make quick profit.

Therefore, encouraging new trader to use either small or large leverage is a bad idea. Thats the mindset of a gambler hoping to get rich quick.
So many people are making the mistake of getting into futures trading at the beginning of their journey in this market only with the hope of making bigger profits early on, but as you said, that's not what they should be doing as beginners because your first priority as a newbie should be to educate yourself with the market and trading principals instead of trying to make a lot of profits right after you join this market because this mindset will only bring disappointment at the end.

To be honest, such people are actually misguided because they watch a lot of videos related to trading on social media and people are mostly boasting about their huge returns they are getting from futures trading, and then such people think of getting the same results but they don't realize that the risks involved are huge and that instead of making profits, they can also lose all their funds in it.

Using smaller leverage is a good idea most especially as a new trader without much experience of the market and however even if we become more experienced in the trading journey we shouldn’t just go for higher leverage without applying proper risk management. High leverage comes along with risk so we need to be super careful of things we do.

Other tokens aside the most reliable and reputable ones can be risky and we don’t know much about their volatility so let focus on the top coins and trade with them we can make good profit from it when we apply good risk management.
If you are a new trader, you should not use leverage, not big nor small. If you are a big trader who has done very well at spot trading, then you can start with small at leverage and if you do that very well for a while longer than you have two options, either you keep doing small leverage but bigger trade size, or you keep the trade size same and do bigger leverage.

But both of them require years and years, you are not going to get there on day 1 of your trading, nor day 100, this takes YEARS. You need to first learn to do very well spot trading, do that for lets say 2 years for example and have a good chunk of profit on both years, then you can start to test small size on leverage, rest is up to how well you do, if you do well, go up, if not, go back.
This is true, I think starting with leverage should be something people should do years later and we should be considering how we could make a profit out of this and we could do a great return if we could use spot trading and we could make a lot better situation. We can't really consider how leverage could be out, because it is not really considering how people could make money with it very quickly.

So we can't really just trade without any knowledge and hope that leverage will make us profit. And this is why we can't really consider how this could be different, it's just not that easy at all to handle. However, if we learn a lot then we are going to get a lot better on the long run and can do a better job if we take our time.

Buying the top 20 coins is a good idea but he must analyze one by one to find the coin but most people just buy when the price start moves without analyzing so that make them buying a wrong coin. Experiencing losses and profits is normal but if you can learn from your losses, you will improves your knowledge so that gives you more chances to pick the right coin.

But no safer trading especially if he doesn't have much skills so the first thing he needs to do is learn trading, understand how to analysis and pick the coin. But Bitcoin trading may be safer because he only needs to buy and hold then sell when the price increases and he can rinse and repeat the process and increase his profits.
In the current market situation, I don't even feel comfortable buying the top-20 coins. It offers no assurance, I feel, and chances of growth are just as good as Bitcoin, so why not simply buy BTC?

Might sound like a broken record but still to date, holding BTC is perhaps the best way to make money from crypto. Yes, you might make more money from trading BTC or trading altcoins, but there's a good chance you just lose everything as well. With holding BTC, one thing is certain: if you can wait and wait longer, you will eventually come out profitable. I don't see any reason why BTC would be under $100k after 2 years from now.

It is very difficult to maintain profits in the long term in trading. Someone may make a profit once or twice in trading, but this does not guarantee that they will maintain profits in the long term. And many experienced traders also suffer. It is much more difficult to succeed without technical analysis, practical financial management, knowledge about trading, market analysis ability and experience. And it is much more difficult to make the right decisions repeatedly by keeping all these things in order and buying and selling by observing the market accurately. Due to which most new investors suffer. So those who pour a large amount of money out of greed later regret their decisions.

But those who have not learned anything with the sole purpose of making a profit and trade only out of greed and emotion, can they actually achieve anything through trading? I think they never can, rather due to such activities they only have to face more losses and the attitude with which they are trading in such a way, it makes them gamble. In reality, trading is a skill-based place where there is no place for emotions, only market analysis, risk management, emotion control, continuous learning mentality and many other essential things are needed. Nothing can be achieved here through emotion and greed. So here one has to think realistically before learning trading, but unrealistic thinking only causes losses.

Trader are earning a high amount of money the skill they have. Millions of people have no skills in trading but they are doing trades of token and they are losing their money. The market analysis always matters a lot because in trading you have to analyze the market if you want to be a successful trader. Trading is not easy and you have to take experty in trading. If you want to bet on trading you will be in loss because you don't know how to swim and you jumped in the ocean and you don't know the depth of ocean. Bitcoin future is bright and you can start your trading by investment in Bitcoin because that can lead you to be successful in life and in few years Bitcoin price will go to 120k$ which is good price at that.

Trading seems easy to make money if you're good at it, but if you're not, you'll inevitably incur significant losses. As a beginner, I sometimes experience losses and profits. In this topic, I'd like to hear about your trading experiences, whether you've always lost or not. In your opinion, the best and most consistently profitable trading is in the futures or spot markets. I'd also like to hear your advice on which altcoins to trade in, or whether it's safer to trade in BTC. Everyone's experience is certainly different.
I think every trader should decide for themselves whether futures or spot trading suits them better. As you probably know, futures trading is significantly riskier, if you can't trade futures profitably, then in my opinion, it's better to avoid that type of trading altogether, or at least use very low leverage. Every trader's experience is unique, so I don't think other people's advice should be treated as the ultimate guide. At best, it can serve as a set of general principles worth considering. But you'll find those same principles in almost any trading book.

You can be successful by trading but for this you need to understand the volatility of the market and use strategies at different times and you cannot enter the market quickly, you have to enter the market at the right time with patience and exit the market at the right time. But most people start trading quickly without having the right knowledge, only with the main purpose of getting rich quickly and as a result they face big losses. To be a successful trader, it is very important to understand the volatility of the market and enter the market at the right time and leave the emotion or greed and exit the market at the right time. When you can control greed and trading with the right knowledge, there is a possibility of making money.

Obviously, I think everyone must know about the type of risk that is suitable for them because they will certainly consider first whether the activity is suitable for them or not, it is also noted if, for example, they know and understand about that type of trading, but for the spot market, I think it is suitable for everyone, including beginners, they only need to understand the basics regarding good and correct accumulation and this type of trading does not require them to be expert in analysis and skills, the key is consistency and patience, but in the end, it comes back to each individual's criteria.

Its given that every trader should be responsible in making trading decision, something that will bring him advantage than disadvantages.

But from my personal experience, it would be best to let the trader experience both so that he can assess himself as to where he fits the most. Otherwise, relying on other people for decision making will never guarantee positive results, this is also to avoid the blame game after incurring significant losses.

Both futures and spot trading are risky, most especially to those who have not clearly understood how futures and spot trading work.

I will never get tired of saying that a lot of the people who get involved in trading don't really have what it takes to be a trader, which is why they lose. Simply taking a one-month or three-month course on trading is not enough for you to start trading. There are other background knowledge needed for you to be a successful trader. You need good analytical knowledge and how to read and interpret data. Having computer knowledge will also help. Then there is the financial and economic knowldge.
With all these knowldge, you still need to have expeinece in it. Trading is not something you just wake and strt simply because it's just buying and selling. A lot of time and resources is needed. This si why it's always better to simply invest and not bother about the day to day price movement if you know that trading is not for you. There are even no guarantees that you would be more profitable if you trade instead of hold.

That is true, skill and experience is the way to make money in trading. If you study and learn and can do proper analysis than making a profit over long term is more likely. Of course even the most veteran trader will not make a profit in all for their trades, but over long term they will be mostly in the positive.

However, most of the market, millions like you said, are people who are trading silly stuff because someone suggested them, without doing any proper analysis and then they lose all their money. There are many proper and well-tested pathway for how to trade and every new trader must take time to find a suitable one and then start risking their hard earned money. Rushing toward trading always ending up in disasters. So, best suggestion would be learning and minimal risking would ensure the longevity in trading.

There are a few things you need to learn before deciding to start trading And this is a general fact that all traders are sure to know.

  • Trading strategies
  • Money management
  • Trading psychology

These are the basics. At the very least, you should have some knowledge of these topics, don’t get carried away in your pursuit of profits. Trading is one of the hardest jobs in the world, a fact that every trader has surely experienced when starting out.

A common mistake among beginners is being overconfident, thinking they can easily make money here. Just because they see many influencers flaunting their trading results on social media doesn’t mean it’s true, in reality, these people are often just looking to recruit referrals or act as IB (Introducing Brokers).

And the sad reality is that most people do not even learn half of those, let alone all of them. I see bunch of traders who end up with many mistakes and they are not careful and they end up with mistakes, this is the reason why we are dealing with what we are dealing with, and for that reason we should not be looking at this like it is something that would be all that great for us. We should realize things aren't that easy to handle, and we should be focusing on how to grow by our own standards. Stop doing what others do, and start learning your own ways.

Trading is not easy and you will never be able to profit easily from training no matter how expert you are. Those who think trading is easy and jump into trading to make easy profits can never maintain their profits. I would advise you not to think of trading as a full time source of income. Keep trading with small amounts of money and gradually learn about technical analysis. Because technical analysis is very important for trading which will help you understand when to take an entry in a coin in which position and how much profit should be booked from there and how much your stop loss should be. You will understand all these things only when you learn technical analysis very well. So the advice is to start with small amounts first without being greedy.

In fact, most of those who are new to the crypto space have the idea that trading is a very easy way to make money, but they actually ignore the most dangerous aspect of trading, which is that if we invest in trading without analysis knowledge, then we can call it the equivalent of gambling. And just as in gambling, the possibility of losing money is highest, the same thing applies here.

And so I would say that you should refrain from trading until you have mastered the skills of technical analysis and fundamental analysis. And when you have mastered all those skills and you have practiced them through demo trading and gained some experience, then you should actually get down to trading.

Trading is not for anyhow people that don't understand how it works. Some people are looking for how to make quick profits from trading and because of their curiosity to make money, they will end up losing money instead of becoming profitable.
There are so many things to learn about trading but many traders are not ready to learn but interested to make money.
When they want to skip the terms of trading and move directly into the profit-making side, they always end up learning the hard way. Some give up, while others can retrace their steps and start all over again. There is profit in trading like they are expecting, and there are also seasons of loss, which they need to focus on and learn how to be able to manage, and not only focus on profit as if there won't be any day for lose.

There are so many things to learn about trading but many traders are not ready to learn but interested to make money.
Trading is not by rushing in to start trading as they might end up losing everything, so if one decides to trade for them to earn, they are to learn every details about it, instead of cutting corners, as it will make them to lose everything. So, the smart way for trade to earn is to learn and make findings, which helps to keep them going because whatever decisions that one make without them finding more or knowing more about it will result to more losses.
