I've already participated in a discussion here on the forum about this type of feature, and it's good to know that Degen makes it available to us. Bankroll management is one of the most discussed topics and, for me, the most important: being able to know precisely how much we spend and win or lose.

A good foundation for responsible gambling is a good bankroll management. NGL, it can be a tad bit scary for me to look at my PnL lol, but I believe the effort is well worth it, so we can plan ahead. In addition, I'd say it could ground folks and encourage them to spend wisely.
Aside from these, securing an account should be put on top of our activitiy in any platform. The
article shared by @OP is a very good guide in securing our Degen account. It also give us a sense of security on how Degen platform secure our deposits while reminding us of the enabling security features in our account.
Losses are inevitable when it comes to gambling, but the good thing about being a small fish is my losses are nothing ground breaking (nothing that would hurt my current lifestyle). Of course, this also means by wins are nothing breaking too, but I'm okay with that as I'm not trying to get rich by gambling, and it still feels good to win like x5-x10 my depo for instance.
True that, losses are inevitable when it comes to gambling. No matter how meticulous we are in our betting pattern, we can't just avoid losses, especially when luck does not favor us on that moment.
Yeah, it is a good thing to us minnows having a small bankroll, it makes us not to lose huge amount of money if we stick to our what is in our bankroll and avoid additional top up on that session if we happen to lose all our bankroll.
Getting 5x to 10x really feels good, but experiencing a 1000x+ win feels great.
