As title says, I was only active in cricket related topic in last two months due to local tourney going, and discussion was always fresh. Now that tourney is over, I have to come back to normal topics in sub to fill my signature quota and what's it? It's same old shit.

I don't know if I understood correctly, but your problem is that you "have" to post on boards that contain topics/posts that you consider "shit"? Look, it's not that there isn't really a lot of garbage in the Gambling board, but I'm occasionally active there (not because I have to), and there are always some topics that don't have xx/xxx pages where you can join the discussion.

In fact, the real problem is that someone demands a certain number of posts in a certain board - I consider it counterproductive considering the amount of spam that is "produced" there on a daily basis. Those posts would have much more visibility in some other parts of the forum.

I meant gambling discussion sub is extremely repetitive (excluding sports related topics), there is little novelty in topics posted there (i.e, same old shit) — anyone who have been surfing that sub regularly would know what I am talking about, while sports discussion topics tend to be fresher since the discussions are centered about recent happenings.

 The gambling board is regarded as the section with the most number of spam and shit posts  but at least you can find some less cringe worthy posts there. I really don't understand what you want though, is it that you're raising this matter up because you want the section to be closed entirely or what? because to be frank, this issue of spam won't stop.

There are not always big tournaments. And we can change the type of discussion from waiting for tournaments. Because how interesting a board will be depends largely on all the users discussing on that board. Therefore, to make the board interesting, we can start discussing new leagues, player strategies, betting psychos, bankroll management and new changes related to sports. In my opinion, this is how the board can be interesting even in the off-season.

This has been discussed literally countless times. The question is what next? Yeah we know that there are a lot of trash there so what's gonna happen about it? If nothing is gonna be done then there's basically no need to continue talking about it on a sincere basis. Most times it's because of the compulsory quota in some campaigns.

Personally I post there not because I'm made to but I'm literally wearing casinos signature so it's ok to have a couple in the gambling board regardless.

Yes, that's the real problem. If users have freedom to post, then I believe most users will make constructive posts since managers already filter them as quality posters. If they are forced to post in certain sections where they aren't familiar, then the quality of the post would be lower, and sometimes it might be considered spam as well.

However, managers have a prior notice on the signature thread where they have to post before joining. Users agree on those terms and start work with him, so users have to try to learn about that section and engage in discussion. Because companies are paying and they might have some requirements, and managers have to follow those if they want to work with those companies. So OP has to accept those terms even if you don't like them.

Bundesliga
Ligue 1
Saudi pro league
Europa
Champions League
Transfer and speculations
World Cup
and many more football related threads.
This is why it produces what you call a fresh discussion.

I'm visiting this thread for the second time since it was created and I'm not surprised to see the flood of responses in just a few days. The UEFA champions League thread has always been a spam fest for some, for others a thread to have genuine conversations.

It was out of surprise, especially because I was one of the first people to post on the first page of that thread--- to return after a few days and the level of spam was deplorable. I knew I wasn't the only signature campaigner irritated by this.

A meta section is were discussion about the forum is been discussed...so what you outlined is based on what is happening in our discussion sections, so you ought have known that this sections is suit to discuss a forum related matters..op, i want you to also know that in gambling discussion sections we have a some relevant posts and also have spam posts..because they're a lot of people who repeat what other people have respond..

Regardless of how the sports threads may be most interesting in the gambling board according to your opinion which I'm not disputing because it has been observed that most of the  users of the gambling sub board that gambles are mostly focused on sport bets, users of course aren't limited to also discuss about their personal experiences and skills they counters or obtains.
So you don't only have to expect sports betting discussions there but any category of discussion that had to do with betting or gambling.
Although lot of the relative discussions turns spamming which I believe it's because the Op's fails to use the search button to check if similar discussion had existed there just like this one you have just opened in this thread. Of course related topic had been discussed too just as Mia Chloe had expressed.
I also concur that such threads continually gains users interests just to meet up the signature quota as alleged.

If am not mistaken, the gambling section generates the most traffic in the forum, what do you expect? of course spamming right? In order to remedy this, i think some threads should be locked by moderators after it has reached a certain number of pages. The only exception should be on those threads that are relatively continuous, just like threads about league games in a whole season.
