This greed we are talking about here is in every gambler's life; how they control it is all that matters. Some are less greedy, while some are very greedy. When we win in gambling, the temptation of wanting to try again is always very there, but the ability to control it is all that matters, especially when there is a winning streak. We all get tempted to see what the next game will look like using the same staking power, but the greedy one can try to increase their stake amount just to get a higher win, which is where they lose it easily.
I also won and realized that maintaining my winnings was extremely difficult, and all because I started to think that if I continued, I could win that much again. But this is a simple trap in our brains, one we create for ourselves. Of course, I understood the experience of other players, and that you shouldn't just stop playing, but the desire for the unknown and to test it in reality was stronger than anything else, and I couldn't resist it, so I continued playing and lost all my winnings. I think many players experience a similar path.

That is always the problem with most gamblers the moment they win, they will be thrilled and eager to gamble more because they feel they will still win but gambling doesn't always work that way though sometimes, a gambler can still be lucky to continue winning till they got tired but sometimes too, if they decide to continue they will lost everything they have ever won so it is best to stay off whenever we have gotten a reasonable profit from our bets.

Every win should be a win, but if you have already risked a lot and what you win can't cover for your past losses you will feel terrible, and that's why it's best to not end up been someone who will have to calculate his past spending on gambling.
This is very important for a lot of gamblers to understand, every win is a win no matter how small it might be, there is no gambler that would say that they haven't made profits at one point or the other in gambling but the reason why they think that they haven't gotten anything from gambling is because they compare their results with others.
Yes, that's right, in fact they basically want a very big win, they want to win so much that they can do something big. But is it really very very possible and easy to get such a win? It takes a lot of luck to achieve this kind of win, which is very rare to get. So the main thing is to be satisfied, no matter how big or small your win is, if you can enjoy it with satisfaction, then that will be enough for you, so the main thing here is how you maintain your mentality, and where and how you can be satisfied.

Short answer: you cannot make profits from gambling long term. You cannot build anything long term based on luck and chance. What you can do is control your gambling habits not to lose to much and if you get lucky to win big you do not sink deeper into gambling habits but actually put the money to good use.

Gambling is fun, or so it should be. The less time you spend over analyzing it the better rrally
Some gamblers find it difficult to comprehend or accept that gambling was not intended to be a source of income. Because they will play the game with what they can afford to lose and limit the number of times they gamble if they acknowledge the main reason behind the creation, we won't have to witness people gambling beyond their limits.

Another important thing is having a clear goal before you even start thinking about gambling in the first place. What many people seem to lack is satisfaction,  they become dissatisfied not because they actually did not win, but because each time they win something good their expectations keep rising.  It's better to make a small win that you can stick to your target than to go for a larger goal that you will end up losing everything that was already won.

Many players tend to overlook knowing when to stop.  Sometimes it's better to walk away when you are in a good spot than to wait for that big win. Discipline can be better at maintaining your profits  than expecting luck to generate them.

It all balls down to self control, many gamblers don't know there limit, and what they could take, once one win a substantial amount,it's just to invest wisely, probably stay off for a while, but some will squandered the money with the hope of winning again ,not knowing such luck does happen always ,they allow greed to creep in,that is what many gamblers are facing and with that ,they can't maintain any profit for long .

nobody that win gambling and they spend the money extravagantly, most of the people that wins gambling they always spend the money by keep on gambling, so most of us that losses in gambling that is the one of the factors that make them to lose and the most of us also that loses what we gain from gambling it is because they want to gain more that's why they dont keep records of what they spend or what they do with the money they win from gambling.
