Profit is one of the main reasons why people are investing, and if there is no profit, they will not have the intention to invest. The problem is they always want to make quick profit, and that is the problem. All this is because most of them are seen that way, which is why they want to calm down and wait till they can make a profit. We know that everybody wants money, but when you are investing, you have to wait because after buying the two things that you need to do is just for you to buy and hold, then add more. Then you have to be patient because there is no two ways about it there is no way that you will buy and not wait. So, if you want to wait, it will be best for you not to buy, because there is no quick profit in this game, so the fact that you have to buy.
The only point I think is valid in your comment is about patience, but I don't totally believe that the main motivation of people investing in Bitcoin is just to make profit. Some investors are just interested in Bitcoin for other reasons such as owning something they can control themselves, owning something that protect their savings from losing value, or just being part of an alternative financial system.
Among people who are investing in Bitcoin for profit, not all of them are seeking immediate profit. Some investors are just gradually accumulating Bitcoin with money they can afford, because they believe in the long term potential of Bitcoin.
So anyone that wants to invest in Bitcoin should at least understand why they want to start Bitcoin investment and they should also have realistic expectations on Bitcoin, not having the expectation that Bitcoin will make them wealthy overnight. So we should stop assuming everyone that's investing in Bitcoin is doing it for quick profit.
