The Bauchi State Police Command has rescued two kidnapped victims and arrested four suspects in connection with an abduction incident in Alkaleri Local Government Area of the state.According to the command, the victims, a 40-year-old woman and her 25-year-old son, were abducted by gunmen who invaded their residence in Kwarin Gadali Hamlet, Pali District, Alkaleri LGA, in the early hours of June 2, 2026.

I personally commend the effort of these police men for rescuing the victims of these kidnappers. The rate of kidnapping in this country Nigeria is very high, and anybody that is caught commiting this sordid act should be severely punished.
When you kidnap someone, is equivalent to killing that person, many people who are kidnapped don't comeback alive, and even after paying heavy ransom, they still kill those victims, and some sell properties to set free their victims. This is a very big crime, and offence to humanity, government should not take this offence lightly, and whoever is caught should face the wrath of the law.

The government we have has told us that those who are kidnapping and terrorizing Nigeria should be recruited into the society, they are people that should be killed because they have tormented their victims and some of them don't come back alive from captivity after paying huge ransom, so why should such people be called and re-oriented into the society?, it's very painful that you will loose a loved one through kidnapping and the government keeps quiet over it.

I also join to commend the swift response of the Nigerian police in rescuing the kidnapped victims and bringing them back safely to their family members, any government that feel reluctant over the safety of the citizens is evil and has a hand in the insecurity of the country because if such is happening and nothing is being done to end the insecurity then they should be questioned thoroughly. No one can travel safely by road and won't get scared of being kidnapped. Let the government do something to end this insecurity issues we are facing.

I will commend the police department if this is what they will take seriously from now on. We rarely hear this kind of good news and are surprised when it is true, because the police department has shown nothing but incompetence over the years. There are complaints from the officers that the government dont give them quality guns and amunition to stand agaisnt this abducters, kidnappers, and bandits, which may be true.
