ETH Will Never See $5K Again — So I'm Using It as a Hedge for My Bitcoin DCA Str

We cannot conclude in this manner over ethereum value, there is no certainty to any length a coin can go, be it bullish or bearish pattern as it may present to us based on the season, therefore what I expect to be discuss here is whether if ethereum will make it to all-time high this season or we have to wait until the altcoin season fully begins later this year or next year as the case may be with the market season.

Saying ETH will never cross $5,000 again is a reach. It may not happen in the next bull season, but there is every indication that ETH would still grow above $5,000. It has been underperforming for a while, and it's true that investors no longer trust it as much as they used to, but I don't believe it has peaked. It may take it longer than it did the last time, but it would get a new ATH.

I feel that majority of investors have lost hope on Ethereum and that will definitely affect her future in the market. Some altcoins did better than Ethereum last bull run.

I don't know whether it will reach a new ATH. That's something for the future, and I don't think anyone can know for sure.

But I do think its a bit too much to say that ETH will never reach $5k again, or that most investor have already lost hope in it.

So far, Eth ETF have attracted around $11 billion, far ahead of Sol, XRP. Public companies are also holding around 7M ETH. Total ETH staking has reached 40M ETH, which is nearly 32% of the circulating supply...All of this shows that there is still strong longterm confidence in ETH, and arguably more than in any other altcoin.

For Eth reaching that $5k? its really possible if Bitcoin will hit that new all time high figures that you have said.

Bitcoin can pull all major alts and it can able to help them to reach their new highs to. for many years we have seen that. That's why bullish market sentiments occur once Bitcoin starts to hit big pumps.

So even  ETH/BTC drops to that ratio 0.03 to 0.025 there's still big possibilities that ETH will have a good push and reach that once BTC hit the $200k target. ETH may lag but usually follow the trend of Bitcoin.

Many altcoins did not get a new ATH in the last bull run, but Ethereum was not one of them. Ethereum got a new ATH last year and beat the ATH of 2021. It got to about 4,900 in August of last year. I know that Ethereum has been underperforming, but you can't believe it will never get to 5,000 dollars. You won't use its current price to judge how it will perform in a bull market. We are in a bear market, so it's normal for prices to be low. I am very sure Ethereum can get to 5,000. If it doesn't reach it in the next bull season, it will get there in the one after that.

For a very long time, Ethereum was underperforming, but from the third quarter of last year to now, it's been trying. I don't have much faith in Ethereum, but it's not doing as badly as you say. The fact that some Altcoins performed better doesn't mean it cannot perform well. I believe Ethereum will do well in the next bull season. Despite how brutal this bear season has been, it has held its own so far. That's promising.

I agree with what you said, but I wouldn't even think of it, because this was exactly what came to my mind in the previous circle after the halving that Ethereum will reach $5k when bitcoin would be at $100k but it didn't play out that way.

This is why I am still in doubt that even if bitcoin reaches $200k, Ethereum might still be struggling to reach $5k because a lot of investors have no trust in the coin and they hardly buy it.
