If you invest first, you will get profit later, In reality it is not always that simple. Because many times, people spend more on things that they don't really need because of the fear of the future. Then instead of investing, it becomes an emotional decision. Suppose you have been saving cash for five years thinking that the housing or real estate market will collapse, In these five years the market did not collapse, but doubled. This means that by thinking too much about security, you missed the main growth of the market.
However, I agree with your main point that preparation has value. Especially in financial life, having an emergency fund or good asset is a lot like that raincoat. But for me not only early investment, right timing is equally important.

In any investment, one should know the background of that asset first before he can jump into such investment. I don't think investing blindly would give an edge in terms of profitability. All this is absolutely true, and I believe that the rich have winning points in many aspects compared to the poor, which makes them constantly richer.
We all know these sayings that the poor get poorer and the rich get richer, and you have given excellent examples of why this happens, and I want to add my own examples: the rich can buy an expensive thing now so that it is reliable and will last for several years, and the poor will buy a cheap thing that will be broken in a year. Well, I sure agree with that. People often overlook the importance of early investments into things because they believe they don't need those things at the moment so even if they are getting them at a discount or a cheaper price in general, they don't go for it because they believe they can use the money for something else rather than buying something which isn't currently needed, but those who believe in saving money and understand the potential future need for goods, they will always go for it, because they know that when the time comes when that thing will be needed, they won't be able to get it at the same price as they are getting it right now. Just like you bought your raincoat when the raining season wasn't still here, but you knew that it's going to come, for sure, so you bought it and probably saved some money on that deal because when the season starts, they won't cost the same anymore.

When it comes to buying cheaper alternatives, I think it's mostly done due to affordability issues. When someone can't buy a product that is better in quality but costs more, they start looking for cheaper alternatives so that they can get the work done but don't have to spend a lot of money. Those who can afford to buy the better one but still go for the cheap ones only to save money should understand that if the cheap one gets you through a month, the expensive one will work longer for you, and if you are buying 3 cheaper ones to get through the same amount of time that the better one gets you through, you are basically still spending more money and not saving anything.

It is not always the case that early investments proves to be worthwhile simply because it was made  early, there are many people who invest heavily on the businesses, financial products then they  thought it will give them long term benefits and security and later they discovered that circumstances have changed and because of the advancement in technology the investment has failed to give them their respected results and those type of cases the patience alone cannot guarantee success , so the main lesson should not be buy early and preserve rather than invest wisely and remain adaptable. Success does not comes from only early investment but the balancing preparation risk management and adaptability are the main things that should be considered with the investment so that it would be beneficial in long term.

Your point is very valid and I totally agree with you. I really don't think it's about buying early too, but it's more about investing your money in the right place. Like you mentioned some people invested in other crypto very early and they end up not making any profit from it, rather they lost their investment. I think it is understanding and knowing what you are investing in and how stable they have been over time. Their principles like you mentioned is very important and you also have to check track records to know that you are investing in the place, then with all thus observations you can definitely be certain that you are investing in the place.

Almost everything in life has time for them. Let me use the agricultural sector as an example. If you fail to buy food during its season, you might end up buying it at a very high price when it is no longer in season. There is surely an overriding factor on why they decide to do that (sold early than expected) and I think it was mostly those negative factors you listed there. If not, then the case can be rare because we might have save enough money outside and the only reason for us to sell is if our money outside is still not enough to pay for something.

In a long-term investment, an investor can also liquidate their assets once it has matured already even if they don't need the money yet because they might miss the opportunity and then it does not make sense to just invest forever and not selling. There are still some factors that you said there that is not bad but it is only about preference and then nothing is perfect even though some already did their best.
