The forum is a very large community that is comprised of so many countries, so you’re always going to have a community of different characters and backgrounds and different personalities, so you can’t really know how and what you will meet about people, I think there are so many people coming into the forum everyday, some people with different characters and lifestyle, so if you’re bringing people you have to still tell them what here is all about, and rules and regulations that are to be considered before coming here, first of all you can’t bring people who aren’t educated, because you have to know how to read and write, here in Nigeria not everyone that knows how to read and write, some people are not educated, so how are you going to flourish in a place that is all about reading and understanding and knowing what to comment.

This is quite a sensitive question that should not lie based on familiarity or closeness. It is important that anyone you are inviting to the forum is of sound body and mind (no trace or motive for scam or illegal activities) and can contribute to the growth of the forum. This forum has being for the longest so should have gained enough publicity and it's best it stays that way.

You can never tell the hearts of men and what runs through their mind,  not every kind gesture would be reciprocated or appreciated. Let us be wise and keep the forum safe.

Lastly, don't bring in those that will constitute nuisance, this forum is well-moderated and different from random social media platforms.

Anyone bringing a nuisance to the forum will automatically be a nuisance himself, because that is the least I could think of right now. Although the person who invited another or introduced such to the forum is absolved of any faults from the person such a person invited because they can't control their behaviour, and telling someone to come and learn and probably make income here is harmless on its own.

Waooo am happy that a thread like this is been created by a newbie who is just new to the forum. This is a very important issue that the Op has raised because, with the current state of our Nigerian society we need to be very careful about the character of people that we bring into the forum. Because when people hear about this type of forum they may not take it seriously while others may also take it as a means of making quick money, so your orientation that you will give them is very important.



Again anyone we are trying to bring into the forum you should not start by telling them about the money making aspect of the forum. Scammers are been in everywhere now even within your community or relative they might be scammers is just that you won’t know them, since you cannot able to Identify them and that’s why even to invite someone to the Bitcointalk you need to be every careful. The reason why most of people want to introduce themselves into this forum is because of money, and putting money in mind to come here it’s not good idea I think learn first to know how the forum works is the best way to succeed in this place.

I am not inviting anyone even if they ask me what I do for a living. I know a lot of persons who have asked me what I do for work and why do I spend more time online that in physical gatherings. The thing is, I prefer to tell them of digital marketing. If they are interested in digital marketing i will be willing to teach them. Me I'm very careful with people, once they discovered you have something doing,they will definitely want to be involved, if it's online work , people often think is frued and they will definitely want you to show them way , the only people I  can invite is my close friends but not that I can vouch for them but at least their should a level of trust for me to able to do that , sometime people are not who you think they are and at such one need to be very secretive and intensional in your dealings .

Yes, you're right with your last paragraph. And that should be at the back of the mind of every newbie, and "invitee". Even though there are avenues to earn some Bitcoin and money, we should invite new users guiding them rightly.

People cannot be studied completely. You might think that the ones you trust cannot betray you, but they will be the ones to cause unnecessary troubles where you least expect them. I agree with you. This is how you should hide your Bitcoin-related matters from people. Otherwise, those people can also do harm in the future. And since the decentralized aspect is related to the fundamental issue of Bitcoin, it is always better to hide yourself. This makes security stronger.

However, if someone is very interested in Bitcoin and has a lot of interest in knowing, then can be given the right idea about Bitcoin. Giving the right idea about investment may benefit him or save him from major losses. But you should first understand whether the person you are telling is really trustworthy or not .

From the privacy perspective, this is not really a good idea. The more people you tell about Bitcoin or introduce to the forum, the more you reduce your privacy. Even if your intentions are good, people can sometimes be wicked. Your actions might even lead to a possible wrench attack. So as you go about telling people about Bitcoin and the forum, just be careful.

You're right but many people have done this, you might have even introduced some to this forum or into Bitcoin investment in the past but maybe because if the knowledge you've gotten and things you now know about privacy and how people can take advantage of your good will, what I won't argue is that what ever we are doing as long as it has to do with Bitcoin, we have to trade with caution because humans can be unbelievable, the heart of humans are wicked, someone just mentioned about Port Harcourt people as they are the only people that keep introducing people to this forum although understand that he was sounding it as advice but it shouldn't be one sided, people from different part of naija has one or two persons they introduced to this Bitcoin and this forum so the advice should be for all, as for your message, it is a good one that has to be adhered to.

While on puzzle to this very question based on it importance, it's quite worth to note that many have good intentions of bringing people who they may seem helpless just that the heart of human is full of evils and the mind construction can't be fully determine by face. But any one who mindset is centered on scamming rather than the good if this forum is not worth been help, the popular saying that show me your friend and I will tell you who you are, is of necessity in carrying a friend along in anything that one do, no matter how hidden a friend behavior or mindset could be one should be able to know certain length before bringing such person in any system for posterity.

The forum is open to everyone we feel we want to invite for this forum, but where the issue lies na whether those people wey we invite go like stay for this forum for long without giving up on reading and learning about Bitcoin without being paid, unless they service to render.

In other words, I know how many people wey I don talk to about how the btt forum d. They all run away because they can't deal with how the forum dey. So, they got discouraged, because they no want start wetin d no fit finish
