What do you mean? Are you referring to staking an address on the forum as proof of ownership for your account and address here?

Check this thread here: Stake your Bitcoin address here

Don't forget to add a signed message so that someone could verify you own that address.

Where can I submit a chain of custody for proof of ownership of an address???
It's your signed message with an address you want to prove your ownership, but to sign it, you actually have to own private key of that public address.

What do you mean? Are you referring to staking an address on the forum as proof of ownership for your account and address here?

Check this thread here: Stake your Bitcoin address here

Don't forget to add a signed message so that someone could verify you own that address.
Here is the guide on signing a Bitcoin message, and that thread can help OP learning how to sign a message, before staking his address.
How to sign a message?!
A copy of it with visual images.

What do you mean by chain of custody?

If you're specifically talking about this forum, then you don't need to submit chain of custody here. You can prove ownership of your account by staking your address and then sign a message with the private key of that address.

Where and how to stake your address on the forum is already covered by the first two replies. If that's what you need, then you should follow the instructions.

He registered an account yesterday, posted this 3 minutes after his account was registered and since that time, he posted nothing till now after questions as been asked from him or her to explain better about what he posted, but he is not reading what people are posting. Maybe he or she has seen good answer to his question already, but it would have been better for him to read what people also posted on this forum.

Even if they have seen a better answer to their question, they should come and acknowledge it but since you said it's something they did three times repeatedly, my best guess is they just want to spam.
If you're curious about something, you make sure to follow up whether it has been attended to. Let it not be that tomorrow they'd open a thread asking why this place is harsh to newbies or why they can't get merits  Sad

From scaler D compute the public key Point p = d * G via scalar multiplication with the generator G and then use the resulting x coordinate of the p as X for address deviation this proves ownership

What?
So, you need a technical explanation of how proof of ownership works. (I assume you're talking about elliptic curve cryptography)? You can go to this section: ?board=6.0

If you want a simple step-by-step guide to proving ownership as a non-technical user, just follow the other members' suggestions above.

Not gonna lie, it sounds like a summary from an AI text describing how to calculate a public key. Even the symbol and term is the same as Google's AI answer. Not sure what's the intent here, or maybe I'm jumping the gun a bit here. Anyway, copy pasting a summary doesn't convey any meaningful intent. Maybe OP should edit or make sure he include what he's actually asking.
