India Women showed a complete team performance against Pakistan Women. They ended their match with 170 runs, where their batting unit looked patience and aggression when needed. LOL.. in the previous editions, at least they used to get viewership from India. But all of my friends (and me also) are busy watching the FIFA World Cup, and no one even cares about the ICC Women's T20 World Cup. Hardly anyone even noticed the match between India Women and Pakistan Women. In a sense that was good for flop players such as Jemimah Rodrigues and Shafali Verma, who flopped yet again. India managed to win the match, thanks to performances from Deepti Sharma and Shree Charani. Rodrigues is actually in a competition with Samson to become the most over-rated player in India.

South Africa won with 19 balls to spare (although they had lost 8 wickets). For the Pakistan Women, the next match is against Bangladesh Women. Even in that match they will be the underdogs. Pakistan would have won the match if their batting order hadn’t collapsed. They really need to work hard on their top order. Except for Fatima and Tuba, none of the batters performed well in the match. Imagine if those two had also failed; Pakistan wouldn’t even have crossed the 100-run mark. In fact, even reaching 50 would have been difficult for the team.

On the other hand, Annie Dercksen and Nadine de Klerk did absolute wonders with the bat. Not only did they bat well, but they also maintained an excellent strike rate.

Pakistan’s batting could become a major concern for them in the tournament. Let’s see what happens next.

RSA Women secured their thrilling victory over Pakistan Women. I think, Pak Women should be more focused from the beginning cause they struggled by losing wickets early. I wonder, their top ranked batters failed to make expected scores. Fatima Sana played brilliantly, her half century  helped her team a lot to reach 126 runs, otherwise it could be worst. However, Pakistan’s bowling line was good. They successfully hunted many wickets but Annerie Dercksen & Nadine both made valuable contribution behalf of RSAW and safe their team from losing.  It was an exciting match where both teams really fought hard. Pakistan was close enough to the victory but South Africa applied their full effort in the final moments and won the match by two wickets
