It was the third game for Indian women in the World Cup, and they lost it after having an easy win in the first two games and I think this loss was pretty good for India to learn multiple lessons and approach the next games in a different manner. Before, Pakistan and the Netherlands were third-class teams that's why they dominated. But now, when they came to face a big team, they made mistakes. Maybe they took South Africa women lightly too or the problem is with the abilities of the players.

I don't know how many others share the same sentiment here, but I feel like Harmanpreet is playing way too passively. Everyone in the team is playing for quick runs while she is trying to be the anchor. We have long seen that there is no space for an anchor in T20S, aside from times when 3-4 wickets fell early on, like in the powerplay.

Innings like 25 from 22, 35 from 33 don't really help the team. If anything, they build pressure on the batsman at the other side and the ones to follow.

I am not following the World Cup very closely, but saw this particular game as it was Sunday and felt really frustrated by how the captain is being absolutely useless and later blamed it on the bowlers during the match presentation.

Yeah. Don't like her myself, but she is a gifted batter who got really lucky as a captain thanks to an amazing player base recently. She isn't the main reason they lost that match though. It was Radha Yadav who dropped Kapp twice literally ensuring their loss.

Catches win matches and female cricketers tend to drop a lot of catches. Their fast bowlers are another big weak point and Shreyanka getting injured didn't help. I don't see them winning the trophy with this team to be honest.

I thought the match would be one-sided and India would win  easily. But my guess was wrong. They were not able to  win this match because of their weak batting. I expected a more responsible performance from the Indian batsmen.

Except for Shafali Verma's innings of 31 runs off 15 balls , no other batsman from India could have done better. The team was able to give a  target of 159 runs. Even then, if the Indian bowlers had bowled in a controlled manner, they would have been able to win. But the Indian bowlers were able to take only  4 wickets. The most important  innings was played by Marizanne Kapp. She scored 81 runs off  45 balls.

Watching this match between Scotland Women and New Zealand Women, at first it seemed that Scotland would win because their first player who was opening Darcey Carter scored 72 runs and all the other players who were out played with her because this player remained not out until the end and seven players who played with her were out. But in the end, they were set a target of only 131 runs, which was not very meaningful for the New Zealand team. Still, they took 18 overs and four balls to achieve this target, with only four of their players being out and they achieved this target and won the match. Izzy Sharp, who is a player of the New Zealand team, also performed well and scored 62 runs, but the highest score of this match was 78 runs, which was scored by a player of the Scotland team, but that player could not win for her team.

Loss to Australia was not huge surprise as there is big difference between two sides at the moment. The wickets have been dropping in groups is more of concern than a team losing to tougher opponent. They almost won the match there itself. Pakistan need to get rid of some of the non-performing players, but I guess that is going to be hard since many of the payers are in the squad due to family/political connections. BTW, I am not sure what happened to Diana Baig. She used to be their opening bowler. And now she hardly contributes with the ball. Also, Fatima Sana has failed completely as a captain. Someone else need to take over that job.

Perry(My GOAT) keeps doing her thing again and again. What a legend. Australia and England should move to the knockouts, but I am not confident about the remaining 2(India plus WI) anymore.

It would not be wrong to consider Pakistan as the weakest team in the world cup. They have lost all four matches. They have even lost against  teams like Bangladesh. Everyone was sure that pakistan would lose against Australia. But the margin of defeat surprised  everyone. Australia had given a target of 200  runs. Pakistan could not even score  100 runs. They lost all their wickets after scoring just 86 runs in  13.4 overs. Pakistan's performance was very bad in every match. Pakistan's cricket is going backwards day by day.

The lack of performance from Pakistan was not surprising. Against India they were all out for 106 runs, against South Africa they scored 126 runs, and against Bangladesh they scored only 100 runs in their 20 overs, therefore, when you face Australia, the strongest team in the competition with its quality bowling, it was an expected total from Pakistan.
England and West Indies match is underway, with England reaching 104 for the loss of 2 wickets in 11.4 overs. I am expecting England to post around 175 runs and secure a win. Actually I am curious to see how the West Indies will bat when facing a huge total to chase.

Both these teams are fighting for the top spot in the table. England women's team is very strong as we know. But West Indies women's team is also in very good form now. Both have won all their matches. Whichever team loses today's match will be their first defeat in this World Cup.

England will try to give a big target. If they can give a target of 180+, I think it will be enough to win. Because England's bowlers are also quite experienced. England have scored 128 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in 14 overs. Danni Wyatt Hodge is still unbeaten with 63 runs.

Well I think after defeat from Bangali women it was obvious that Pakistani women will be lose against might Aussies too, because thier is huge difference between thier standard and I don't rank green caps even closer to them so for sure such high margin brutal defeat wasn't much shocking for us and was expected, it's true that PCB should announced grand operation against such parchi player as well as coaches too, because they were responsible of adding them to be part of the team regardless of any impactful performances. Hope so Atleast they will secure they very last match of thier world cup journey.
