🤔 Q&A 💬
Is this tournament exclusive to the bitcointalk forum or is it combined with the one on the Kikabet platform?
I've read the rules about this tournament, but it still leaves me with questions, on the other hand I like the small minimum bet of $0.5 where other bookmakers minimum bet is $1.
For example...
Mexico the odds are 1.40 with a bet of $0.5 same with a higher bet the points will follow the odds or the amount bet?
Hey, great questions : glad to clear this up!
✅ This tournament is exclusive to the Bitcointalk forum. It is not combined with any on-platform promotion on Kikabet.
Regarding the scoring system, points follow the ODDS, not the stake amount. Here are two examples to make it crystal clear:
📌 Example 1 — Tie scenario:
Player A bets $0.50 on Mexico to win → odds 1.40 → 1.40 points
Player B bets $1 on Mexico to win → odds 1.40 → 1.40 points
▶ Both players have the same score (1.40). In case of a tie, the player with the HIGHER total stake wins the tiebreaker.
📌 Example 2 — Odds decide the winner:
Player A bets $5 on Mexico to win → odds 1.40 → 1.40 points
Player B bets $0.50 on Mexico Total Over 2.5 Goals → odds 3.30 → 3.30 points
▶ Player B wins despite betting far less money, because their odds are higher.
So to summarize; bet smarter, not bigger. A $0.50 bet at 3.30 odds beats a $5 bet at 1.40 odds every time 🎯
And yes, we're happy you noticed the $0.50 minimum ; we wanted to make this accessible to everyone, not just high rollers 💪

Can I make 20 bets of $0.50 on Mexico and will I get 20x1.40 points for that?
Hey, great question and we totally understand why you'd think that!
Unfortunately no ; placing 20 bets of $0.50 on the same selection (e.g. Mexico to win) will only count as 1.40 points, not 20 × 1.40. Duplicate bets on the exact same event and market are counted once.
So in this case, the player who bet $50 on Mexico to win (1.40) and the player who bet 20 × $0.50 on Mexico to win (1.40) would both have the same score 1.40 points. The tiebreaker would then go to whoever staked more in total.
HOWEVER : if you bet on the same match but on different markets, each bet counts separately!
For example:
Bet 1 → Mexico to Win → odds 1.40 → +1.40 points
Bet 2 → Mexico vs [Opponent] Total Over 2.5 Goals → odds 2.10 → +2.10 points
Bet 3 → Mexico First Goal Scorer → odds 4.50 → +4.50 points
Those three bets on the same game give you 1.40 + 2.10 + 4.50 = 8.00 points ✅
The strategy here is simple, diversify your markets, hunt for value odds, and stack your points that way 🎯
