FOGO = Fear of Going Offline.

Realize or not, we lived in the technology era which makes our life connected to many things out there. Not just limits in our city we lived but also with other people out there. That makes us difficult to leaves our mobile phone, makes all things in our phone.

But if we notice, we missed something important in our life which is we can't feels free from notification in our gadget. That makes our social life disrupt, we feels that we can't talk free without looking our phone's notification for a second. I see this becomes a new addicted in our society because if we gather with friends, relatives, or other people, we can't leaves phone during that meeting.

How long you can leaves your gadget and not carry on with you? When last time you shut down your phone without thinks what happening out there?

The main reason people continue to visit their phones is to communicate with others, consume information and have fun.
Aside from doing what may be necessary online, like service to others, certain people would be able to cope really well without their phones. .
I think if you experience better information from your conversationa with others physically, from your physical environments or in your mind, you are unlikely to miss your phone very much. Information is like foods, you can easily be attached to those that taste better.

By the way, I barely take my phone with me when I'm going out. Prefer to focus on what the mind has to offer, and sometimes the physical environment. But that doesn't work very well without ear plugs to block/reduce distractions from getting through the ears
