If you want your sellers to buy from you try selling them what they need, if they already have other sellers then make yours more attractive.
Let's assume you want to become an online seller on a peer-to-peer Bitcoin Marketplace, and one of your main concerns is "who will my stuff" or "can I sell fast enough", then you have an idea— you decide that instead of buying things with fiat currency from local sellers who hardly consider buying from you, you will be better off converting that fiat currency to Bitcoin to buy from local Bitcoiners who will also buy things you sell. You look for sellers on the marketplace who sell things you frequently or occasionally buy, and then ask them the kind of things they frequently or occasionally buy in order to supply them... But under the condition that you would mostly buy from them if their products/services are top notch (good quality) and more competitive or attractive than your former sellers, and you likewise promise thesame thing. And then you start buying from these peers and they start buying from you after comparing prices and quality of your stuff with their former sellers'

By trying to make yours attractive, try not to make yours too cheap because if you think you're doing buyers a favor by making your commodity too cheap, you are only reducing the value of the products you have, and people prefer to buy some particular products that are more expensive because they associate the expensive price with quality. You also need to try not to look too desperate. Sometimes it is not more offers to attract customers that you need; you need marketing. With good marketing, bad products have been sold.

It looks like an attractive plan but there are some rough patches that make it not realistic. These are the rough patches I think won’t make it work, you buy from these guys because you go for what they offer, their product or service, this is what they do then you found them and saw it’s quality and you patronize them, and they make profit from it, you ask them what they usually buy now so you can sell it to them, but that’s not realistic because you many not understand the business of the product and services they regularly buy now you have to learn it and even if you do you need to be a big time buyer of their services even more than you need just to make them try you out. And are you just looking at one customer or you ask many sellers of what you need so now you have multiple business to learn and sell to people that May not buy from you. But why not find what you offer especially to a niche let’s say website development let’s just use this as an assumption even though we know AI is taking over that. offer this seller resplendent things that could help their business and these things are what you have already learnt.

Not only that, after-sales service is more important. The same product or service would be offered by various sellers, but it depends on the service, after-sales service and behaviour. You should have something special from others to be different from them. I know it's important to understand the seller demands what they need, actually, but together you need better service as well. On the other hand, you should think about creating a new market or service that would be needed by people. Have to introduce something new for others and make something unique for the people. Then you would have a new market and gain popularity in a short time.

A big part of selling is not only selling what people need, but also having good public relations, which is the after-sales support. If he buys something from you, you have to follow up. Is the buyer satisfied with his purchase, and what is his feedback? If he has a complaint, you should address it right away and satisfy his concern. Part of good marketing is word of mouth; it's probably the best marketing strategy.

However, from a practical point of view, it can be a little difficult to grow or scale a business in this model. Because when you only bring products based on the needs of your customers, your customer base will be limited to a very small circle. To be profitable in business and get sales quickly, it is more important to go beyond the familiar circle and catch the big trend of what the general buyers in the open market want. However, one thing is very important here, that is to maintain trust and quality. In the beginning, many people give competitive prices, but cannot maintain service or quality. Because people prefer reliable sellers over low prices.

This depend on what you are selling though. If you are into commodities where price are the same all over, you can't sell your things below your purchase price, you will most likely run on loss because at the end of the day, you will calculate the cost of your business, the money spent on transportation, money spent on sales representatives, money spent on everything you put on that business. Trust me, this is bad idea for any business just because you want to attract customers, my description of cost might be the same but there is cost in every business you do.
If you want to start any business, just make sure you have money for marketing and promotion, it could be anything platform. Even this forum, you see decentralization exchanges make adeverts and that money is from there pocket. Just because they are exchange and want customers doesn't mean they have to make swap higher what other exchanges are doing, logically it's doesn't make sense, if you even follow that path, it doesn't guarantee you will make any sales.

Making yours attractive shouldn't lead to you losing out on your sells, many buyers always look for people who sales cheaper and they has nothing to lose, one need to understand the whole essence or ideal of business.
The main thing in business is knowing what to produce, who to produce and a favorable location ,them if there is much competitors, you make yours affordable but not at your own expense, because even if you reduce your standards many will view it as fake ,so while try to get attention from people, also make sure to keep a solid standard that people will know your values.

If you want your sellers to buy from you try selling them what they need, if they already have other sellers then make yours more attractive. That is good advice, and in addition, a good seller can also make the seller realize and think that what the seller is selling is needed even though it is actually not. This is what I think as the art of selling.
Your take?
Aside from thinking who will need the stuff and things you stated, it is also great if the seller actually design an explanation that makes the audience believe they have to have that stuff. If we look at the market, most people are actually buying stuff that they don't really need but due to the good "explanation" and convincing of the seller, they are able to make the audience believe that having the item on sell is a great deal even though they actually don't need it. This is where the sales promotion comes in.

What you've basically described is having a USP - a unique selling point. It can be cheaper than competitors, you might deliver faster, it might be better quality, accepting a specific payment method or a certain colour that's not otherwise sold; or a combination of factors like that. It has been the story since the beginning of time and something China has most recently evidenced when they became the factory of the world, they simply produced as such a large scale and so many cheaper that no competitor could get close to the basic goods. That is an economy of scale benefit too, where if you can ramp up production to a much greater volume than competitors then you can often knock them out of the market even if you sell at a loss for a while.

What I know about business is that it is not always good to have a certain few people in mind before you go and establish the business or because your family members or friends promise you of patronage and you dive into it. Or worse of, to do trade by barter with patronage. Most trade by barter businesses didn't flourish in the past. To have a successful business yes you have to make your business ideas strategic, beautiful and attractive but to have few people in mind or to rely on them for patronage won't give the proper and expected growth. You can establish a business in a target area and add better services and popular payment system like bitcoin, usdt to attract customers and they can't resist patronising you because of the services you offer. If you have good service for one customer, that customer will be the one to market and advertise your business with other people.

Bro you made the whole concept a little confusing. Anyway, for those wondering what OP said, which is not that hard to understand I know but still, basically he is saying you scratch my back and I will scratch yours haha.
I think it is hard bro. I mean I am not a seller of something but let's say I sell and I need to buy products which I am using for my own good, let's say I sell food and I want to buy clothes, it is hard to find someone who would agree on this deal! It is not as easy as it looks especially when it comes to a country like mine.
The concept is neat bro but in real life it won't work. It could if you got lucky, but you need to be careful, also I don't think it is a way to scale and grow.

If you want your sellers to buy from you try selling them what they need, if they already have other sellers then make yours more attractive.
Sells is a very broad topic and if you are in a niche that demands you to make sells as a means of generating revenue, you ought to be very intentional about your buyers. your primary concern should be that you are serving them right and ensuring that they get the best of experience the very moment they step their foot in your business or does a business with you. Even if you run a physical business or offers a digital service, the first time someone patronize you can be ascribed to be a random one but how you treat them and make them feel will tell if they will ever step their foot in your business the next day. in making sells, reception is key, they way your buyers feel while still with you is equally important, the quality of the product is important and a follow up is equally important. if either of this element is missing especially the follow up after a customer has bought the first item, some might not come again. selling at a cheaper price is not out of place but if that is all that distinguishes what you are offering from other competitors, your business will not stand the test of time.

You are right that isn't the way business should be and a person can't only become the only customer the business would have so it shouldn't be a reason for a business to be established because few people cannot buy all the commodities in the business. Does trade by barter business still working in the businesses now?, I don't think so because people and businesses now are only fully into what could give them money by selling the product or commodities they have on there shops so actually it depends on what a person is doing as a business before a trade by barter could be assumed effective on that business line.

This kind of arrangement is not bad if you can easily locate people who sell what you want and are also willing to buy what you sell. Another issue is their ability to comply with the terms and conditions of the agreement. You might be forced to buy a low-quality product from the other party because you don't have options. I also doubt if they can sell quality products at a competitive price. It would be difficult for an individual to sell at a lower price than big corporations. This practice will be beneficial for promoting Bitcoin as a currency.

Influencer type of seller basically, instead of being an influencer and sell others products and take marketing money, these people become influencers of their own selling, they sell a product and do social media and so forth. Sort of like how apple do not make the best pc, and yet sell one of the most expensive ones, these people just sell stuff that is the same as the other one, but market it better.

Your points are valid but while considering the price tag for your products, it has to also depend on the location to which you’re selling the products to. What you sell at an higher price at some places cannot be sold at that price in all places, so you need to put that into consideration while still not devaluing the products through poor price tags on them. The online market may have a different approach to price tagging as to the physical market place. But being able to learn about pricing on products will bring about better sells of products.

Well, as it seems to me, everything sounds cool on paper,, except in practice it just doesnt work that way. Let us imagine that you walk into a local bakery to buy bread there, asking the owner if he will sell his product to you, while buying three pairs of your socks every day. You see, it will sound a bit weird even to a normal baker, right? And if he does not need these socks, all your effort become useless.
In a truly free market, people buy what they need and where it is cheapest, not out of some artificial loyalty.

The problem with a lot of people that start up a business is that they don't do proper survey on what to do to get attention of people. Instead of doing something in that location that's already rampart offer something else that is of value and also not in supply, in other words find a need and solve it. Doing what others are already into would just put you in the line of competition and if you start that business when others have already been doing it before you came up it might be hard to succeed because the people they sell to already have their supplier.

I mean, in businesses, there were just more into it, like marketing, feedback, hooks, etc. I mean it simply as that sell them what they need is the part of it, but they there are two businesses that is selling the same thing that is where it might make some kind of competitions, competitors are where it might be difficult to make a sale if the two businesses have the same product atleast not a huge difference in the product it would just end up going to depend on SEO or marketing of the product.
In the online world of the Internet, everything is just online these days so having a good presence online is just a huge thing that is going to help a lot where it comes to selling, if people are going to search for a generic product like a bag or a chair depending on your location on google for example it is going to recommend brands nearby, but mostly going to recommend that businesses that have good presence online or good marketing, which means having a good branding online or building it, is a huge thing.
