I can't post from my account. Have I been banned?

I know I have some negative tags on my account. But can the tags stop me from posting?

Anyway, I haven't been able to post for about 3 months. I know it's definitely not because of the negative tags. But what is the reason? Have I been banned for some reason? Or is there some other reason?

Negative Trust does not stop your ability to post. I cannot say for sure whether your account has been banned or not. However, I have seen allegations of plagiarism against you. However, I am not entirely sure that you have been banned due to plagiarism. Because a staff member on the forum has already said that you have not been banned. But when there is an allegation of plagiarism, he is usually banned. And I noticed that you have not logged into your account since March 4, 2026. So how can you be sure that you have not been able to post for the last 3 months?

Yeah, OP hasn't been banned yet as their BPIP data reveals. It could be that there's a log in issue from OP and not from this forum.

However, I must admit how shocked I was to find that OP had been registered that long here since 2022 and relatively active but without a single merit to their name. It tells a lot about their person.

where do you see "banned" statuses in BPIP - I know of several accounts that are banned but I cannot see that anywhere I have looked in BPIP.
If there truly is a place to see that, I would love to know where.

If OP was banned, temporarily or permanently, then there should be a notification on top of the page, visible to them as soon as they log in. They were either not paying attention or this is a form of trolling. Something else I can think of is a user being banned from posting in certain sub-forums. That's happened before, but I don't know how it looks from the perspective of the person that has suffered such a restriction. Can they still access and read topics in that sub or does it disappear and/or become inaccessible to them?

I don't think you can see that information on BPIP's website. You most probably need to install the extension for that.

Something else I can think of is a user being banned from posting in certain sub-forums. That's happened before, but I don't know how it looks from the perspective of the person that has suffered such a restriction. Can they still access and read topics in that sub or does it disappear and/or become inaccessible to them?

I don't think that's the situation with OP as they haven't been active since March 04, 2026, 09:09:50 AM. So, it's obvious they haven't been able to log into that account at all. It's not a board restriction thing for them.

You can view a member's ban status directly on BPIP, in any list, such as Most Merit (check member 369/396th if their position hasn't changed), or by accessing a specific member's profile, such as this member.

If marked with an icon like ⭕ below or next to the member's name, the member is banned.

I thought if you are banned from the forum when you log into your account it will indicate that you have been banned or it does not work like that, if it does not work like that then it is wrong someone should know when his account is been banned.
I sincerely believe that when your account is banned in this forum, when you log in into your account you will be indicated that your account has been banned and you cannot post using that account anymore so if you can't post that means you are banned, I don't think there's any other reason that will prevent you from being unable to post apart from being banned.

If you are banned you will get the notification about the ban when you log into the forum.

Halab is a forum staff and he mentioned that you are not banned and I could not find during a normal search either.

There won't be any special tags to identify a banned users from the front end interface, but you can check other log data to check about banned users.

We are not like any other normal forums. The forum respects the member and treats the ban like a mystery, only the banned user gets to know about their special privilege, while some detectives search for these details.

Yes. I would just like to add that since BPIP pulls the data from forum's modlog, and the modlog doesn't show temporary bans, BPIP only displays permanent bans.

Not really. Permanent bans are reported on the modlog.

It's worth noting that there are different kinds of bans, though. The regular permanent bans or accounts can be recorded on the mod log or BPIP. But if the account gets locked by mods, which is an equivalent of a ban, nothing is recorded in the public. The same applies to an account that has been temporarily banned.

OP should be able to see a ban message inside his account or something like that.

the member I linked above shows banned on the loyce.club link but does not have that icon next to their name on BPIP

Did you try entering from that account before making this post or you just went ahead to open another? Like the others have said, it's not a ban and just because you have three red tags doesn't mean you've been automatically banned.
