How is this any different than other match fixing scams, just because you think it is different? Whether it happens through standard match fixing claims, claims in big events or something else entirely -- they will get scammed eventually by something.

This is nothing special about this case, for anyone in this forum who has any money and has actually lived in the world has at times been scammed by something or invested into something stupid. Only the most conservative and poor people who have no life experience haven't had this happen to them. It could even be something quite simple as buying a bad product in a real store, so we are not even talking about a complete fabrication like in this case. So equally others could claim that the thing that users here got scammed on is ridiculous, like how could they have fallen for that?

I don't think it would be easy to commit scams or engage in manipulation because there are a lot of eyes on the event like this. It's something that would expose the industry and might not benefit anyone except those foolish people.

I'm sorry, but this is pure stupidity. When someone is smart enough, he would never believe WC could be fixed. The only possible thing to disrupt the game through referee decision. It's impossiblt to fix the competition that is watched by all of people in the world.

At this big stages everyone wants to benefit from it ignoring whether it is right or wrong, fake tickets, meme coins, cryptos and many other things are creations of that kind of people who are willing to scam people for the sake of their own profits. This is just another classic scam on which there are bad people try to trick newbies that there are ways to rigged that event. To bad if there are people believe on those claims and will not do background check or see if those claims they hear is possible to happen.

People should know that its hard to rigged those big events and those fixed matching claims is just a hoax then usually people offering it to them are scammers. Definitely foolish, you wouldn't scam in the first place if you are not. Honestly, we don't know what's behind the curtain in FIFA it's a big league and I don't think there's a fixing happening behind the curtain but just like what I have said we really don't know what's behind. I usually see fix matches in small leagues but not this one. Anyway, regarding the scammers and frauds these days, it's not actually surprising since there's a lot of people interested in the event and therefore there's a lot to target. It's just like every holiday like Black Friday or Christmas season, a lot of scammers pops up everywhere, that's why we should be careful in everything as we don't know what tactics they are using. People think very foolishly, this type reasoning cannot escape those that are either addicted to gambling or those that are close to getting addicted.
This the reason why we should be careful with who we discuss with, some has gone out of hand in terms of gambling to the extent that they think there's nothing that can be done as far as it has to do with gambling, if I may ask who will be fixing the match, in favour of which National team exactly, nothing like match fixing in the FIFA world cup, no match official will embark on such risk considering how coordinated the competition is.
