If you want to invest in bitcoin for 2, 3, 4 or more years, it will be profitable.

 The demand and supply factors depend entirely on the things that make Bitcoin more valuable. This means buying lots of bitcoins will only cause the price to rise if the bitcoins will be according to the factors that make it valuable.
This is how price has been "programmed" to react. It even react to more advanced factors that are extraordinary in nature. This is usually the last resort when things become complicated or impossible.

Why does the price of Bitcoin fluctuate? If I put it in simple words, it depends entirely on supply. When the demand in the market is high, the price increases and when the demand is low, the price decreases. And whether this demand increases or decreases depends on the selling pressure. When the selling pressure is high, the price of Bitcoin decreases because the demand is low. And it work the opposite when bitcoin goes to the up.

And about the investment right now I think if you do the DCA investment then I will say obviously it could be profitable if you hold that for at least three year or 4 years. And about the cycle based investment I think we could find more good dip in the last of 2026.

Bitcoin is volatile, price increase or decrease is to be expected. If you want to invest, this could be a good time since the price has tanked and all.
However, I would strongly recommend buying in batches or you can say dollar cost average if you're still hesitant. From your statement alone you feels like you're not so sure.

As for the recent decline in price, it's massively because bitcoin is already due for another correction looking at the chart structure and its failure breaking resistance.

Bitcoin goes up and goes down. It cannot keep going up forever just as much as it cannot keep going down forever. Either you wait until things become more stable or you can do what I (and many Bitcoiners) do. DCA. You take the money you mean to invest, divide that into parts and invest it in certain time frames. For example, 100 USD in 10 parts every week is buying 10 USD of Bitcoin once a week.

This way you average out your buying price.
