While scrolling through social media, I suddenly came across a video that made me think that maybe this is how people will first teach AI and because of that AI, people will lose their jobs. Sure, there are lots of job at risk from AI but be careful thinking it will solve everything - that is what has happened to cause many bubbles before. You could consider the current revolutions in AI on the same scale as the advent of the internet, it is ground breaking and allows for thus far unimagined breakthroughs which will include automating many jobs. We're at the moment now where we maybe need to rethink capitalism if robots end up doing all the work for us - why should wealth continue to constantly aggregate in the hands of the few who have no incentive to help the wider society and seem to relentlessly hoard that wealth. Just look at today where the first trillionaire is born. People used to say that billionaires could not even spend that much in a thousand life times (with wealth still far beyond an average worker), yet now someone has taken it to the next extreme.

People should look for alternative work or deepen their understanding and improve their skills in relation to their work.  I believe most jobs that are affected by AI are graphic designers, video editors, and other jobs that deal with digital presentation.

Or better if they can integrate AI and use it to further enhance their skills and presentations, after all, AI with human manipulation can outdo any job done by AI alone.

There is no doubt that AI is taking a lot of advantage on job human do to replace them. This vast growing technology has its advantages and disadvantages and when we look into it more deeply, we can spot out some parts that still has human having an upper hand than them. There are many sectors that humans are more needed than AI and only their use in those sectors won’t make any sense or bring about effective results.

AI follows a repetitive pattern and routines while human has more advantage than them in terms of adaptability, effective human relations, taking responsibilities. I have never seen workers placing AI learning cameras on any part of human body for them to learn the jobs from humans. I thought the AI developers would have to develop codes which can control these AI tools as they perform tasks. There is nothing these workers can do about it since they will be forced to put on these tools.

The effect of AI technology on the job market cannot be overemphasized. But there will always be jobs that AI cannot perform. Such tasks will always be performed by humans. I think it's time for workers to have more than one skills. Workers should also seek for alternative source of income if they foresee that there jobs would soon be lost to AI tools.

Ai will be so much integrated into most industries these days to boost manufacturing efficiency and productivity and am very certain that new sectors and jobs will arise for those people who are being replaced by AI, because I still believe that it is not all jobs that AI can do and human resources will still be needed.

Also is the case that if AI takeover all sectors and humans do not have money or earn money anymore to purchase the products and services that AI has taken over to produce or render, then there would be a collapse of the economy of that state because there would be so much products and services offered but no purchasing power.
There would have to be a balance for the integration of AI inclusivity to function efficiently and help the economy, otherwise, it's just a bomb waiting to explode.

AI is entering into the areas that were not expected like manufacturing, automation , computer vision,  garments they have improve the quality and speed of the work but it is not like that AI will replaces everyone , in many cases the technology first changes how work is done rather than completely removing or replacing those jobs,  some task will be automated but at the same time there are other roles that will be created related to the technology. People will be required to operate those systems,  they require people who will train those artificial intelligence models, maintain machines or they will manage production more efficiently,  so people need to learn to just switch from one job to another,  to switch their roles rather than just sitting and waiting for the AI to replace them for that they need to learn AI skills.

The job market will definitely shift in coming years and those people who will not adapt to the changes they have to struggle and they will be replaced, that's why new skill related to AI should be learned. Basic digital skills , technological advancement, technical understanding and even working along AI tools will matter a lot in coming times.

The impact is already happening, and it will get much more intense on the upcoming years. On artistic field, AI is already replacing many professionals, as it's capable of making images, movies, music and voices in general. It's just a matter of time until Hollywood becomes obsolete, especially taking into consideration the high costs involved on its productions and the lack of quality it delivers nowadays compared to past decades.

At some point, I believe each person will be able to create his own universe through AI. Imagine being able to create a complex world like the one you live, but following your own customizations and preferences.

After all, AI won't make the market suffer. It will just make the market to adapt itself to the new circumstances.

Flaw with this thinking is that right now cost of using AI is artificially subsided, so that everyone needs to use it in order to match the speed. People will train with nearly free AI right now, and slowly lose their manual coding skills, so they will get depended on the software. Then AI company starts to raise prices, and people need to keep buying more and more expensive products.

Giving away free AI now reminds me back in time when Nestlé's was giving away free baby formula in developing countries. They gave it for free with marketing team who impersonated medical professionals lying how healthy it was compared to breast milk. Breast feeding dried up because mothers were using it instead, and they were no longer free.

Families who got that free baby formula couldn't read the sterilization instructions either, because it wasn't written on their native language, and used impure water, which lead over 10 millions babies dying.
Big AI companies aren't there looking for anyone's best interest. They are looking to make money and "first sample is free" gets people hooked and dependable.

Luckily this isn't happening in every white collar sector. When you are doing accounting for example, AI can't really help you. In fact it could double your work. You still need to double check counting, because you can't delegate responsibility to some program. All you need is one mistake to lose your customer and possibly get sued for tax fraud. In order to be sure about that, you would need to read the data, and double check everything, because you can't trust any data that AI puts out. It's just cheaper and faster to do it yourself.

There are a lot of factories and job related markets that are now training AI to do repetitive tasks.

That's a threat, a real one for those who don't know how to upskill and only relies to the basic tasks and skills that they have.

Focus on developing the core ''uniquely human'' skills like emotional intelligence, complex decision-making and creative improvisation since AI is known to be weak on these factors.

Also, there are job roles that are irreplaceable such as healthcare and social work, skilled trades and green jobs, and leadership and strategy, make sure you are exceptionally good on these areas so that AI won't see loopholes that will make taken advantage.

And lastly, do not compete with AI, but learn to embrace it and integrate it into your workflow.

AI is still not perfect; it should still need to be managed by humans or need attendants to make sure the AI does the job well. At least it can help to make your job easier, but we already see the effect on those who are making advertisements; most of them are created by AI-generated content, which I think most of the models or people who are hired to create videos to promote a product are now replaced by AI-generated videos.

The AI should only be used to make the job much easier to do and faster.

These fields still have opportunities, and the impact of AI on them isn't as massive as it would be for routine work.

Let's be realistic, AI is the new normal. Companies won't be needing plenty of workers to be hired, just few, the rest will be managed by AI. With that, workers will be given more advantages in terms of their salary and benefits, while the companies themselves will limit their expenses and just focus on taking the road to success and profitability.

But AI will be AI, they are not perfect and they don't have some of the qualities that humans have. They lack genuine understanding and feeling, common sense, and ethical judgment, so maybe by knowing these distinctions, we will be more open to what humans are capable of doing that AI fail on it.
