While scrolling through social media, I suddenly came across a video that made me think that maybe this is how people will first teach AI and because of that AI, people will lose their jobs. An important task in the garment industry is the sewing work of garment workers, in a garment, AI cameras are being put on the heads of workers and they are being sent to the technology through that sewing camera.

Now it is important that how should people prepare from now?

Certainly AI is indeed useful in a lot of fields today and that applies to the textile and fashion industry as well. Although, you’ve got to understand that they still need people to feed them the instructions, guide the machines on how to cut certain designs and patterns, they also manage the task of having to saw and make the necessary stitches for the design to come alive. AI wouldn’t be doing more than its intended for. It would help humans alright but, it’s not going to make us run out of jobs.

but what will actually happen in the job market in the coming years can only be guessed by looking at some of the current activities.

We're now having the idea of what will happen in the job market in the next years to come. Most companies are starting to put up an AI to make their production and work easier and quicker. Now, if the employees can't cope up with that, they'll also need to train. So that they'll be able to do things and navigate the tools used for AI. That's how the job market will be, people will not be replaced by AI but they will be replaced by those people who can use AI. We have to adapt that and this is a forceful adaption that we need to do even if we don't like it.

AI will replace certain jobs, yes. Certain jobs will remain, and then some new job roles will also emerge as well.

This is what I believe in because there will be something to fill that vacuum that will be created when people are laid off from work because artificial intelligence has taken over; they would have to fit into something and somewhere else, and that role will come up when it's time.

In the very beginning, when we're first introduced to AI, that would be the perfect time that we should have already been preparing for it. Now, the question is, how? It's quite simple, adapt to it, learn new important stuff like being at the backend of an AI. We are all aware that certain jobs are going to reduce the number of manpower because AI and modern computers are far more faster and efficient than humans. Those certain jobs are what you need to avoid from now on, and learn to be on the AI side. After all, not every job will need to reduce manpower, I think it applies more to the production department of the company. The people who knows a lot about modern computers are most likely the ones who are not threatened by the rise of AI.

It's crazy that several people enjoy teaching AI for now in exchange for a few hundred dollars, and they fail to realize how these things could make a huge impact on global employment in the next few years.

I think it's going to be a very wrong idea for us to be waiting for that role to come, because I believe we all have expenses and that is why we are working so hard to fill those needs, I know AI is taking over but there is a way that we can make ourselves relevant which will escape us from AI.

Since we already knew that AI is coming to push us away, at least we should also run fast to adopt this AI so that we can remain relevance. So many people are already making millions with AI and all this companies you are seeing today would like to go to that direction because it reduce cost and that is what they want by retiring some of their workers so that it will cut down the cost of spending.

For pattern-based tasks (sewing, data entry, translation, much analysis), AI will eventually be able to do it faster and cheaper. Looks for patterns and copies them.

The things that AI cannot do is not at the fringe. What is essential human stuff. Walking into a room where there is a significant amount of tension, and no one has said, "Why?". Making a judgement call when data is missing and there are personal consequences. Keeping two contradictory thoughts and not trying to figure them out or reconcile them until the tension between them provides information.

The garment workers, their sewing technique is being captured by cameras, fine. But their ability to organize under pressure, negotiate with floor managers, take care of each other during fourteen-hour shifts in buildings with no ventilation? No model is up for learning solidarity.

When it comes to things AI does well, competing with AI is the wrong comparison. What we failed to consider is the power of human abilities that markets neglected for years - empathy, judgment, and working together.

Which would be ironic indeed. If it were not so predictable.

I watched something on youtube where the content is about AI being a threat to humans, and with the technology we have now, I think it's possible, maybe in the future there will actually
be humanoids where we think the person we're talking to is still a human but it's not, it's just a robot.

of course, the ability of AI compared to humans is very far, and we don't know how far it can develop in the future. Although for now it can still help other communities,
it doesn't seem like it will in the future either I think.

People should look for alternative work or deepen their understanding and improve their skills in relation to their work.  I believe most jobs that are affected by AI are graphic designers, video editors, and other jobs that deal with digital presentation.

Or better if they can integrate AI and use it to further enhance their skills and presentations, after all, AI with human manipulation can outdo any job done by AI alone.

This is not the time to get depressed due to AI but to see how we can take benefit from this new technology. Its high time to learn AI and develop skills related to AI because that's the only way to survive in coming years.

Stay engaged in agriculture, this source of income cannot be replaced by AI in any way. Although agriculture has become easier with the improvement of technology, it cannot be replaced by AI, at the end of the day you will be the owner of your food yourself and you will not lose your source of income. Agriculture is a source of income where all classes of people can participate, in the future this source of income will become the most valuable. Because, no matter how developed people are, they have to eat food.

However, if we can adapt ourselves to the times, then we are still in a safe position. It is not yet possible to replace all sources of income by AI, acquire the skills that humans depend on.

You don't only have to learn artificial intelligence; there are some other relevant skills that you can learn that will be very relevant in the future. Sometimes you are already in the right direction; you just need to learn more and sharpen your skills.
