Datacenters in space sounds like the stupidest idea ever. But Elon panders to stupid people because that is how he got rich. And all Bitcoiners are among these stupid people because they cannot even understand that Bitcoin has a mining algorithm that was never designed to advance science.

I don't pay attention to his idiotic claims that much because a lot of them can be debunked within 1 second because Elon just talks out of his ass. But in space, we don't have conduction nor convection, so heat is transferred outside the object by radiation. There is radiation coming in from the sun and radiation coming out from the object too. And we can have temperature control by changing the surface so that it emits or absorbs heat better so everything is at precisely the right temperature. Radiation is how heat transfers from the sun to Earth and it is also how heat transfers from Earth to space.

The phrase 'bleed heat' is not a standard term referring to heat transfer, so you should just stick to words like conduction, convection, and radiation.

That's a good point.   Elon has never admitted how the radiation sails will make the datacenters appear as bright stars in our sky.  10x more radiators needed than his Starlink satellites, which people already complain about.

Yea. That is a problem since most people don't want to see streaks of light when they are looking through their telescopes. But people don't realize how mindbogglingly stupid it is to build data centers in space.

Oh. And are we going to do that in near-Earth orbit? Because if we do, all that space shit will make space so full of debris flying anywhere that NOBODY WILL BE ABLE TO LAUNCH SATELLITES. I am looking forward to this, so I will launch my own company called SpaceSex where we will just send a whole bunch of caltrops into orbit to fuck up all satellites. LONG LIVE KESSLER SYNDROME. And if we are going to do it far from the surface of Earth, good luck paying to get it all the way up there as SpaceX is only good at getting things in near-Earth orbit.

No!   Elon is planning a higher orbit, outside the radiation belt.  My degree was thirty years ago, but even then we knew about the necessity of parity bits.  Parity cannot fix multiple errors that you will get from solar radiation, and he doesn't even discuss the million multiples of delay from 0.12 seconds of data transfer time compared to terrestrial microseconds.

Should people call him African American? Some people may think he is parent is Africa, but him born in America. Elon Musk was born in Africa, later went to his mother country Canada which he later have the opportunity to go to the United States. He can also claim to be a Canadian, in fact he is claiming to be from three countries. South Africa, Canada and United States.

This just an opinion of mine, which i hold, I personally don't think Elon Musk is the first trillionaire on planet earth, it's just what Forbes says about him being the first by today's standards.
