Most billionaires are famous for being private and "not involved?"  Im sorry.  I dont believe this for a second.  Instead, they have a better PR strategy and do not need to continuously tweet about their every thought or opinion, because they are too busy using their powers and money to buy politicians, fund super PACs, and change tax law behind the closed doors.   The only difference between this guy and his peers is they do not need a constant stream of validation from the internet when they lobby.

Since the news of Elon Musk becoming a trillionaire came out, I've been seeing a lot of reaction of twitter that I can't understand. Why are people angry with him? Some people are even asking why one man can have that much money while others don't have food to eat. Some are asking why one man can have that much money, and health care is not free, and so many other questions. Don't you people feel that is an entitlement mindset? He did not give birth to you, and he is not responsible for you, so why do people expect him to provide food for everybody and free health care? When has the world worked like that?

Why are people blaming a person for the lack of jobs and health care instead of blaming the government they elected into office to provide these things? I'm not even a fan of Elon Musk; I disagree with a lot of his views, but I just cannot understand these reactions. And it's not just from Americans. African, Europeans, and Asians are all saying the same thing. I've seen a lot of very dumb reactions, and I like to know why people feel this way. I've even seen millionaires complain about a person being a trillionaire. How does it make sense?

People pointed out that one person is holding trillion of dollars while the others are struggling to even have one time food , health Care or housing,  they are not pointing out one individual or making him responsible for everything in fact they are questioning that how our economic systems work and how it is distributing the resources among different people the frustration is more about the inquality then about Elon musk himself. The government policies economics system they play a very larger role in accessing jobs , welfare , healthcare rather than a single billionaire  who is responsible for all of this,  so this is a way of people expressing their frustration in an emotional way  and through social media though it cannot make it look like they are blaming an individual rather than they are blaming the system.

I haven't really seen that, maybe i am not too active in the social media platforms were people have expressed these kind of views. I know that a lot of people have been talking about SpaceX's ipo; and that is the angle i have seen and read about.

That said, i am not surprised that certain people would feel this way about Elon Musk. Some people fail to look at the hardwork it takes to get wealthy, yes i know in many occasions it stems from an already built foundation and support from the government, but that does not take away the amount of innovation it takes to build on what you receive and achieve something unprecedented. My advice is; rather than hate, just learn from such individuals and apply it in your "small" endeavor.

I'm not even a fan of Elon Musk; I disagree with a lot of his views, but I just cannot understand these reactions.

As you said, it's a entitlement mindset, where people believe they should be carried on the shoulders of someone else. That is what was taught to them since an early age by government, culture, family, school... Instead of working towards their goals and even drawing personal goals, they waste all their energy blaming those who managed to achieve something else in life. That is the mindset of mediocrity.

Anyway, I suggest that you don't keep thinking too much about it, because it will just drain precious energy you could be using to increase your productivity in your life. By thinking on such people often, you are synchronizing yourself to their frequency.

Tell those envious hegoat to confront Elon Musk why he became a trilionaire, or even push and dash his head to the wall why Elon should break that damn record. Instead of becoming jealous, why not watch and learn the way Elon Musk thinks, imagine the way he leaves and what he does when he wakes up, study his life and then copy exactly to help yourself too from the average guys.

Where people should take courage and motivation to work hard, at least to be a millionaire before thinking of becoming a trillonaire. Rather they are gossiping up and down. Trying to paint the big man online bad. Elon Musk built his wealth out of the abundance of what was provided to.him. Although Musk is only a nominal trillionaire, I wonder how this is even possible. All of his companies are profoundly unprofitable (except for starlink, which, however, does not cover the total losses), but his fortune is only growing. What is the basis for this? Basically trading on promises. Let's see what his capital will be like when sooner or later he has to fulfill his promises.

For example, on Mars it is possible to settle people under the surface of Mars (to protect themselves from solar radiation), because Mars does not have a magnetic field. But radiation protection is only part of the issue. A magnetic field is necessary for the functioning of the body's cells, and even on the surface, even under the surface, this problem cannot be solved.

People will always be people, some persons will be happy for your success while some will be envious of your success. Elon musk does not owe anybody anything, people should stop been entitled to his money, he didn’t just get where he is overnight, he worked so hard and it took him so many years to get this rich. He’s supposed to be a motivation to so many people and not people feeling entitled to his money.

It is also good to give back to the society, because without the society his businesses would have not gotten to where it is now, he wouldn’t have been where he is. But that is left for him out of his free will to decide if he wants to do anything for anybody but not people forcing him to.

I am also not a fan of Elon Musk, but it can not be to the point I will dislike that he is now worth more than atrillion dollars. He is wise, he has wisdom and he understands the financial part of life which really helped him to be far more richer than the second richest man earth. Anyone that is complaining about him should just stop and focus on their life.

People that are also complaining about government do not know much about life, people with wisdom and opportunities will still always see their way around in the community and be able to live a perfect life.

Wise people do wise things, and Elon is certainly smart, but not wise. The OP's first post speaks well about him. Why? Why should some people have everything, while others should line up their young children for that simple thing, like water? A wise person can remain in people's memory for a long time by doing noble deeds, such as delivering clean water to Africans, healing their health, and improving the lives of children. How many people would pray for him? And now he is not doing anything that could bring great benefits to the world; his idea of Mars is a child's dream, but instead he could make millions of people happy by simply helping them in the only life for each person. Alas, it's useless to expect nobility from Ilona in this life.

If we put political issues aside, it can be said that many people's complaints, criticisms, and hatred directed at Elon Musk when he became the world's first trillionaire simply reflect human nature.

Human nature is inherently greedy, selfish, and envious. Whether we admit it or not, the truth is that most of us don't like it when others become more successful and wealthier than ourselves. Everyone wants to be at the top and better than everyone else. 

So I'm not surprised that many people are angry and hate him.
Remember, there are not many people in this world who want you to succeed, become rich, and surpass them. Only your parents, wife, and children would truly want that.

While I believe Elon got lots and lots of unfair advantages because of his wealth and influence, I don't think he should be attacked for being a trillionaire in an otherwise poor world. Generally, the man deserves all his success. He's not a clueless dictator's son or a royal brat or somebody who has inherited so much from a mogul father. He's generally self-made.

And while I don't like the man, perhaps he's indeed made the world better rather than a worse place to live.

Of course, developing skills and working to improve your situation is important. Life doesn't change just by complaining online. Elon Musk has built a business, taken risks and given jobs to many people, that's true.  But at the same time not everyone starts with the same opportunities. Some people have much better resources or environment. So it wouldn't be right to call all criticism just jealousy. In my opinion people need to work hard on one hand and on the other hand, there needs to be a healthy discussion about the imbalance of the system.

No one in the world can be 100% popular, some will like you and some will not like you. Especially successful people have more enemies, and they also envy them. When you fail, no one will help you or stand by your side, but whenever you succeed, everyone will seek help from you, if you do not do so, they will see you as an enemy. It is human nature to envy successful people.

However, if a person owns a lot of money, helping the poor should be his choice, it is not his duty. His duty is to pay taxes correctly and follow the rules and regulations of the country. If he does not do so, then he can be blamed. Helping people is a person's freedom, not his duty. So we should not expect anything from anyone.

People are unable to make themselves understand that there is a difference between responsibility and personal choices. Someone who becomes wealthy, they don't automatically become responsible of managing other people who lack basic necessities of life, but it's a personal choice. If they do it, it's great because it is not going to cost them much as they have enough money, but if they don't do it, again, it's their choice and you can't hate them for it. A lot of people in the world help others are becoming rich and earning a lot of money, and it's because they want to do it and they like doing it, but it's obviously not their responsibility.

So people who are hating Elon Musk need to understand that they are not doing anything wrong even if they are not doing all the right things, and there is a difference. And who knows? They might be doing charities and donations without doing any publicity for it. Besides, people also need to understand that the net worth of a person isn't just about the money or assets they have, it is all the businesses and everything they own and their value, so it's not like they have $1t in liquid cash in a bank account.

Hatred will never depart from some persons and they envy those whom life has blessed, actually Elon musk didn't do anything or even cause pain to all the people that's hating him, if he wasn't wise he wouldn't have achieved all this success and I believe the road wasn't also easy for him from the beginning but he still conquer so actually the least people should do is to celebrate this trillionaire milestone of his and also learned some lessons from his success because motivation is not always from the belief you have but also from the success another person has because it would give you the strong will to have the determination for success.

People should not be angry with him because Elon know how to make more money. He is business man and can see the opportunity to produce more money while people out there still confusing to search for the way. People jealous seeing Elon's wealth increase time to time and that is not make sense for them to have that wealth.

People should realize that they can increasing their wealth with the right way. But to finds out the right way is not easy as they must research and that will not many people can do, only those who can research enough and have a strong willing who can get the chances.
