What was the moment you realized gambling is not as easy as it looks?

I tried my best in ensure that this realization of risk of gambling does not make me to gamble with fear. If one gamble with fear, it will lead to some serious mistakes.

Gambling shouldn't be done with fear because it's a bad emotions and such a emotion can be cause of huge losses. Instead of that one should gamble for fun because those who gamble for fun and for entertainment purpose often enjoy gambling.

I gamble for fun myself, I've been improving my sports betting skills, and my poker skills overtime but I never gamble a lot and I never cross my limits.

Those who gamble with limits and gamble with responsibility never fear gambling because they always set fix amount limits for gambling.

I've fix budget set for gambling and so far I've never emptied my gambling accounts because sometimes I win and sometimes I lose, but I never fully empty my account by placing bets or playing poker again and again if I lose.

Well personally i started gambling at a very tender age though initially it wasn’t about money because most times we used other rewards that wasn’t money to settle gambling rift like whoever fails might run house errands for the other, however it was until i started casino gambling that i actually realized that gambling wasn’t as easy as i felt.

Majorly i prefer gambling on soccer because i have a broader scope about it but most times no particular soccer prediction option is easy, i use to always play both team to score (BTS) initially but some games will be goal less, i changed my predictions to handicap 2 goals yet i still lost most times, i even started playing under 4.5 goals still most times i loss, sincerely gambling isn’t easy, it requires a lot of statistical analysis and luck to win.

I realize  this after I wasn't able to keep reasonable  amount in my bank account  without  thinking of doubling  it, I was really  caught  in a situation  where I will have a very  huge amount  of money in the account  today and before tomorrow  I've  blown  everything. Honestly  wasn't an easy  experience  and no matter how we want to explain  it to any you may not understand  how it feels unless it's you that is in that situation. The smallest  odd can disappoint  you. There was a day I had lost a huge amount  and I diceded that I should  place a bet on 1.5 odd with a bigger amount to get my lost money back. I then picked a game Manchester united  vs arsenal to score  over 1.5 goals in the match which  dey end up playing  1-0 and I lost it all. I was really  in a big mess and disappointment.

I once played a form of gambling called "binary options." It's essentially similar to classic casino games, except there's an illusion of analysis. Perhaps something similar exists on larger timeframes, but I played on smaller timeframes, around one minute or even less. I used the Martingale strategy and had the illusion that it was profitable. I'm still convinced that gambling is mostly about luck. However, when I saw influencers or other people easily getting big wins during their stream or social media sometimes I wonder why it's so difficult for me to get the same results. Then I realize that even playing slots isn't easy especially when we have to control our greed and avoid making bad decisions. The hardest part about gambling is winning, it’s not just something you see, but something you feel. However, once you understand how the game works, it can actually be quite easy.

I think you mixed some things... gambling is easy & simple as it looks, but winning isn't. And winning always involves some luck, even when you bet on sports or play poker. In luck-based games, slots especially, luck is even more important... without it, you can't hit anything.

And it's foolish to say that you understand the risk after it happens... gambling is risky as it is, and some games are riskier than others. You need to be aware of the risks before you make a deposit and choose games.

Well I don't think anyone started gambling with the mindset or mentality that it is simple, though gambling may look easy because it is something you can just pick but it is deeper than that because there are a lot of analysis and some other things one needs to consider when making selections but one thing is certain and that thing is that, regardless of how good you can analyze there is no a guarantee that you will win after your good analysis because it is luck.

Mine was the the very first time I dipped my toes in gambling:

And it's not as easy to make money. That's when I started to held back and just try to minimize my gambling or try many different games as my luck my chance from sports betting to games like slots and roulette.

Because no matter how much you think about them, it won't affect the outcome at all, determined by pure chance, or at least the RNG. But betting is far from simple. Offcurse experience is the best teacher in life, no amount of a advices can put someone in a better check than experience does,  especially when it concern gambling. However, the day I understood well and learn hard lesson was the day I tried increasing my bet a bit higher after having a winning streak which I lost, it did end there I have to try it one more time yet still having same losing result, nobody told me when I have to back off all by my self and that's the experience we're talking about. When it hit you hard you have no option than to advice yourself.
