What was the moment you realized gambling is not as easy as it looks?

When you gamble with the hope of making money, you realize that gambling is not as easy as you thought. Because those who gamble with the hope of making money and lose after spending a lot of money on it, do not just lose once, but when they keep losing, it seems that gambling is not easy. In fact, it did not seem that easy to me either, because I spend very little money on gambling and I do not gamble all the time; I gamble only in my free time and when I feel like it. That is why I do not regret gambling much. But yes, nothing is easy, of course it is difficult. When luck is with you, it may seem easy to you.

This same hope is exactly why those gamblers keep coming. They lose once and think that it was all a fluke. The second time, the same thought and then after losing a large amount, they accept that it is difficult, but instead of quitting, they will switch to "oh, if I keep gambling, I might be lucky to win back what I have lost", and that usually leads to more losses.

The sooner the gambler accepts the fact that gambling is difficult and not something you can just enter and succeed if you're not lucky, the better for them.

It's not easy when I am in a losing streak and that makes me want to recover all of my losses.
I don't usually record my bets, wins and losses but the time comes that it brings back my memories that I should take them all.
While that's just a fancy thought that comes to my mind but it's truly not as easy as it may seem.
We gamble sometimes to profit but at most times to have fun. You do you when you're in that situation, you know what I'm saying right?

Addiction is a situation that made me realize that there is no easy money to get, bitter experiences and terrible events made me reflect and think and realize that all this time I was wrong in responding to gambling, such experiences do teach more things than just advice, we really feel how the pain is and now I am trying to recover slowly, the real win is only for the bookie.

Addiction makes a lot of gamblers to realize that gambling its not that easy game as it seems to look, because one can easily get addicted but finds it hard to overcome it and it has destroyed the lives of people and their relationships due to their inability to overcome it, that is why they have to stop themselves early and not when they are already addicted to the game. That is why if they ever lose their game in gambling, they are to let go of it because chasing it will only do them more harm and lead them into addiction.

You don't need to be addicted to understand that gambling is not as easy as it appears, before you start gambling you may think you can be very calculative enough to read the game and beat the house but the moment you try more than twice you would understand that you can gambling for months without recording a single win. Those gamblers who become addicted do that because of greed if they were able to accept defeat they won't continue gamble after losing multiple times.

I learn more from friends than from experience. But experience is also important. Sometimes my carelessness always leads to my assets being continuously depleted. I also understand that I have difficulty controlling my emotions when gambling. I may not lose much from this, but I also don't gamble much. My friends often teach me gambling strategies and share their experiences. Gambling isn't just about luck; if you're serious about it, you really need a strategy.

A game that relies on luck for us to win is not an easy game. A responsible gambler do not believe in an easy game. They believe anything is possible but still try luck. I always knew a small win won't come that easy talk more of a big win.

For me I would say it's when I started lining up tickets and they were all cutting, single bets tho and I would do like 30-50 single bets back then and they would be cutting, yea that was when I had the realisation. Yea I kinda knew from there that gambling was something else. I mean I had money to fund the single bets but man that was an eye opener for me for sure.
