Its good that you quickly do the needful before it break you or damage your life badly, and its a life changing story but most people will still do what its in their mind and avoid doing the right thing until they get their own experience, and that its not really a healthy gambling to display because some people can't even withstand pressure and if they can't control or do something about their careless behaviour, they might commit suicide for nothing, when they could have step back when things haven't get escalated.

That's just me, it happens maybe to all of us when we gamble and when we're in that moment of winning streak that we become reckless. Those lots that keep going know they are destroying themselves but they don't give a fuck about it because they are addicted and want to win by everything possible. You'd have to experience it too to learn the lesson that comes with it. Sure, we can always learn from other people's mistakes. Usually one experience is enough for us to really learn. From that experience we will be carried away by two things. whether we will continue gambling with caution and full self-control or stop gambling completely. this is the positive side of the experience of losing. but some ambitious people will not learn from this. they will be more comfortable with believing in big wins in the future.
