Recently I have noticed something with some casino Affiliates, the way and manner in which they advertise for people to register under their affiliate program on the casino is almost beginning to feel and look like some sort of abuse.

Some of them come up with strategies to get people registering using their promo codes or links and make you feel either it is compulsory to register with their codes or your winning luck or chances are tied to registering under them, so they form groups and start dropping tips that are some times nothing close to winning but just to get gamblers key into their program.

Have you seen any of such? Don't you think the rate at which they are going, they are beginning to abuse it? What are your taughts on this?

This isn't something new. I believe that many online casinos that are already operating, or have been doing so since the online gambling boom, use the same marketing or advertising methods you mentioned. Online casinos will use any marketing method to attract new visitors, including this method and other promotional offers or bonuses. They can even market or advertise their casinos by hiring famous actors to help promote their casinos. Sometimes, when I register at a new casino, there's a referral code field. I don't know its exact function or meaning, but it seems to occur when we visit the casino using a link we click. Furthermore, I doubt there's been a thread like this before, and I don't recall any. Although there was one about casino marketing, it was different. What I do remember is the marketing being done by famous actors.

I have seen this in Telegram or Facebook and Instagram group where they share their affiliate and hopes some friends join under them. They tells how to win but with the emphasis that they should join them if they want to get more bonuses or ways to win. Maybe that is not abuse because they tempting other people in their circle while telling the sweet about the winning. That makes others follow and join under them without taking too long but wise people will not just join and will research more before they decided.

What they say is true about having some more bonus. Because that's also an incentive that can only get if someone refers them or if they use the link of the marketer.

Compared to the usual signing up without a referror, they'll also get bonus but it might not be more than what the marketers get.

They get tracking link and they get more exciting bonuses and so that's why they're getting a lot of ways to convince people to sign under them.

These influencers who are affiliated with casinos are just focused on making money. They don't care about playing by the rules because they are concerned about attracting more gamblers to use their promo code. The truth is that their promo code or predictions don't guarantee winning. It might lead to certain bonuses, but you would have to depend on your skill and luck to win games.

I will only consider as an abused if they mislead users by promoting fake bonuses or claiming sure win just to get a sign up from their followers.

But if they are just making their promotion with sweet words I think that’s consider as way to improve advertisement.

Users has the right to decline on signing up of they feel being abused. They can always abandon their account.

It is the choice of the player to register on the referral or just use the clean link. There is nothing wrong with promoting the referral link, the referral gets some rewards and the referrer gets their 10% commission. I think it is a win-win for both parties.

If someone does not want to use the affiliate code, just edit the link when copying it. That is of course a hindrance to normal clicking on the link and following it.

The control is in the hands of the person signing up at the last. I dont think there is any abuse to it.

It is understandable that these influencers just want money without considering the risks they can leave behind to their followers. They would go to the extent of manipulating situation by making false promises in order to make people use their codes. I consider this activity to be deplorable as it takes advantage of the urge of people to become rich within a short period of time. Always bear in mind that the casino will win every time and you will have to take the risk of losing.

They would show random betting strategies and ask people to register through the link in the description in order for the strategy to work. We can’t really say that those YouTubers were abusing the affiliate scheme; they were simply being smart, and people chose to believe them.

People need to understand that in gambling, no strategy works and everything is ultimately based on luck. Those who understand this won’t register through such links, and I am one of them.

I think that is their way of attracting people to use their code or link.. actually it doesn't matter because each referrer has a way of attracting people to register with their referral.. after all they are referrers and their goal is to attract people to register under their referral. Even though the method seems to take advantage of the moment, in the end it all comes back to the strategy of each referrer in competing to attract users' attention. and it comes back to the users that whether they are so smart to believe their words or ignore it.

In this case, if you see affiliate offering guaranteed winning then simply leave it away.

I guess it's a matter of perspective, but I do believe that whoever does that is abusing, or rather scamming, in the event that because they believe them there are users who lose money because of them.

Everyone needs to eat. But the second someone promises guaranteed profit, they're either lying to you or lying to themselves. Markets don't do guarantees, only risks do.

I don't think this is an abuse, but instead a strategy they are trying to adopt in order for them to gain the traffic the targeted and also achieve their goal in reaching out to customers they wanted to get on board on their platform.

We should always know that there are smarter people that knows a better way of doing things and they will always take advantage of any situation for their own benefits as well, all these comes with terms and condition and we are not being forced to comply on them except we wish to apply for their affiliate and as well follow their conditions.

That's how those affiliates push to hard to make people sign on their affiliate links. But it should be a fair promotion, but other is desperate and want to make things feels like compulsory to other people, but this often cause failure to them since to much forcing will make people evade what they are promoting.

If they really force people to sign up on their referrals before they allow them to join in their groups to get some tips, I think this is the start of the abuse. But I find all those group as fraud, since later on they won't give updates an just leave those people sign up under their links hanging around. Everything they do is just a tactic and better for people to be more careful on misleading hints or anything because desperate affiliates use everything just to get an affiliate rewards.

Signing on one link, whatever their conditions are, as long as they don't harm your account or you are paying them something, cannot be considered an abuse. In fact, in my case, I prefer to sign up using someone's link, especially if they introduce me to the platform.
I don't see any harm in doing so, and I want someone to benefit from my action; I consider it an act of encouraging good luck or karma. These affiliates are also working to market the casino, so it's only right that they benefit as well.

Every gambling platform have their own ways of running their services, of course all casino do have affiliate links which people can usually signed up through that link and it will also contributes to the general growth of the casino.
Most casinos that are also launched here, some of the campaign managers do sign up and also add their ref link to the community where applicants would sign up through their links.

When you say some of them come up with strategy Im guessing its all about helpful guides or stuff that made users registered on their refferal link. Usually thats how it works. When someone has a group or page which he shares tips or knowledge to users those subscribers eventually join using his link.  I think theres nothing wrong about it cause some appreciate those and joining via code is their way of returning the favor.

I'm not sure about crypto casinos, but I came across something like that in one of the prediction groups I used to follow. They promote local betting and casino sites, so they only share predictions with members who join using their code. 
Lately, a lot of Telegram accounts have been sending me messages about betting and casino sites. Of course, they offer ongoing bonus promotions. But I don't know how those accounts, which all look identical, got my Telegram details, since I'm not really in many casino groups.

You do not call it abuse, it is a marketing strategy, they are really looking for people to sign up under their referral so they can make money from it.

They may exaggerate things but that is normal in gambling because people will not play if they are not enticed, so as long as it is not against the law, I think it is not something to make a big issue out of since it is not really abuse.

The abuse part here is on the side of the casinos not paying their affiliates even if they bring gamblers that make the casino profitable, I am talking about scam casinos scamming their affiliates and gamblers.
