Recently I have noticed something with some casino Affiliates, the way and manner in which they advertise for people to register under their affiliate program on the casino is almost beginning to feel and look like some sort of abuse.
Some of them come up with strategies to get people registering using their promo codes or links and make you feel either it is compulsory to register with their codes or your winning luck or chances are tied to registering under them, so they form groups and start dropping tips that are some times nothing close to winning but just to get gamblers key into their program.
Have you seen any of such? Don't you think the rate at which they are going, they are beginning to abuse it? What are your taughts on this?
I don't know if similar thread as this has been created before, if it has let me know and I will lock this.
If the reward or benefit offered is what they promised, it is not affiliate abuse. In my opinion, all gambling platforms provide this service because it is a successful, performance based method for online casinos to attract new players while keeping expenses under control and building long-term relationships. Every influencer and website owner uses it as a way to make money from an online casino.

I don't think it's abuse. What I mean by abuse is creating multiple accounts using your own promo code on the same device or on multiple devices. That's abuse, because one of the most important rules of the affiliate program is that a person should not create multiple accounts. I have registered on many such gambling sites using the promo code of a known elder brother, friend, or influencer, because I did not lose anything, but it made it easier for them to meet their target. Many times, the people whose promo code I used to create the account treated me.

It's kind of funny you called it abuse. Don't seat right with me. All they are doing is giving you bonus to sign up in the platform with their promo code and you tag it abuse. If you know you don't want to sign up with their code, then don't do it. I feel this is insulting once method of making money which is not illegal. If this is abuse, what will you now call those doing illegal things? You should chose your words carefully. Maybe you are jealous you can't pull such crowd to register under your own promo code and to justify that what they are doing is wrong in your own eyes, you call it abuse. Damn.

How about you look at this from a different angle and call it a marketing strategy?? This is the only definition I have in my head about your topic, there is no sign of abuse in sight at all. Its not a must to like this idea but don't call it am abuse, for people to make others click on their referral link is marketing strategy, do it anyway you like and I am sure that the casinos who have the links generated will have some rules about it. You are not in the shoe to call this an affiliate abuse, and casinos don't just throw out money for referrals, if they noticed any sign of abuse or cheating they will do their thing.

I rarely see people chasing referral earnings if they don't have enough influence or a large following. What the op describes is abuse of referrals to cheat through over-promotion and ignoring the pure luck factor. For casinos, this is actually quite normal, and they don't care how well you refer people. Casinos won't adjust their rewards based on what you promised to referrals.

OP, I do not think such marketing approach is an abuse, you will agree with me that any marketer can go to any extent to promote their business to a targeted audience so they can get the traffic they desire. So if they implore any marketing strategy to sell their products such as referral codes etc for their community or public to register with, there is nothing bad about it. I assume you will do the same if you were in their shoes so I do not see anything wrong with how they promote their affiliate links except they go against a platforms policy which prohibits such. Just like this platform is, there's a rule guiding such so anybody doing anything not contrary to what's inline with the policy would be penalised for such. So if you think anyone is abusing affiliate marketing, maybe the platform they did their affiliate promotion is against such promotion there as I see no wrong in one using their affiliate links to promote a product. It is not a n abuse. Recently I have noticed something with some casino Affiliates, the way and manner in which they advertise for people to register under their affiliate program on the casino is almost beginning to feel and look like some sort of abuse.

Many don't know what is being expected of them and not, an to gambling offers comes with terms and conditions and we need to understand them before applying for any, this is one of the challenges we need to overcome, because along the line if we don't read them we might fels being cheated.

Whom are they abusing in your mind? Because casinos welcome all marketing by people unless it's by harassing people or by misleading ads so it's not them. Would you be happier if casino itself offered you those links directly somehow? I am not sure how that would even happen without affiliates. You are welcome not to use promo codes or links, and sometimes you are better off making sure it's a legit link before logging in, but you need to take responsibility of your own feelings. If you think it's compulsory to register with random codes, i don't know what to tell you. It's not compulsory to use discount coupons or codes in anywhere and i feel weird to tell you that it's your responsibility to find that out. Some people are looking for those codes in order to register or buy some services in the first place.

It's strange that the OP asked this question. To be honest, I've never seen an advertisement claiming that creating a casino account using their referral link would increase your chances of winning money. Even if someone were foolish enough to use that argument, after creating the account they would realize they haven't won anything and would have to deposit money to play, so they would give up.
Therefore, people who create casino accounts already have an idea of what to expect. For example, I don't see people posting referral links on social media to get referrals to casinos; I do see links to casino review sites, YouTube channels about casinos, and Telegram channels about casinos. I think if this abuse the OP is referring to really exists, then it's rare.

An affiliate is someone who pursues more users to register and gamble, they are not responsible for winning or not, the more players they refer to gamble a lot and join a lot, it will benefit the affiliates, I am quite confused about the abuse you mean. This kind of thing happens in many industries not only in gambling, such as in a trading group or trading class by an affiliate of a broker or exchange, whose goal is to make a profit, but basically they just provide ordinary trading stimulation with general trading recommendations, without really aiming to make users to get massive profits, but instead they will be very happy if the users they refer use large funds for trading because that makes them profitable.

How is it abuse? If I want people to register using my code and I offer certain bonuses for reaching certain wagering tiers am I abusing too? Using someone's code to play on a site you were already considering playing on doesn't hurt you at all, in fact it could help you with little bonuses the person might offer. It cost you nothing, just a click. Sometimes a person is also willing to give you a % of the affiliate money they receive if you wager large enough regularly. I don't understand what your issue with affiliates is honestly. It is not like an abuse, advertising their program shouldn't sound abusive to you, because if you want people to patronise your business you must impress them in one way or the other. It is your choice as an individual, you can choose to register on their casino if it seems suitable for you, and you're also free to join any casino of your choice it you are not comfortable with their operating system or operations. Even if you receive a referral code from someone you're not comfortable, you can follow your own ways, you just have to ensure that you're in a safe place.

Most of the response i have red through on this thread do not seem to have red to understand my point from which i have made the earlier argument, and then of course i cannot respond to everyone in other to get them to understand the point, most persons just probably join in on other responses to not agree to seeing any form of abuse, you all are very correct, i may have missconcpeted the point and so far i have learnt from all your responses, thank you!.
For clarity, the deception strategy with which some affiliates use to get users using their links and codes was my argument, that you don't have to be deceptive about it in other to get people using your promo code or link as that may seem like an abuse.
That ben said i will be locking the thread, thank you all for your Reponses.
