Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has openly declared his support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections. Speaking with press on the country's political direction, Adeleke said his decision was influenced by the principle of regional balance, noting that it is still the South's turn to produce Nigeria's president. The governor also commended Tinubu's administration for releasing funds to state governments, stating that the financial support has helped governors execute development projects and improve infrastructure across their respective states.

Adeleke is supporting Bola Ahmed Tinubu because he feels it is the turn of the south. Well anyone has the right to support anyone, but the lives of Nigerians are more important to regional politics, what we need is someone who put Nigeria in other, and renew the hope of Nigerians.
If president must come from the south, then let it be a credible candidate that will save Nigeria from the economic, and insecurity challenge that Nigerians are passing through.

We should should not attached sentiment when it comes to Nigeria leadership, especially when it concern presidency, because it is a position that decides the faith of Nigerians. We should not choose leaders following tribalism, but on the ground of credibility.

What were you expecting from someone that is actually after his own personal pocket and interest. I have said it over again that our leaders doesn't in anyway care about us, all they are pretty after is on how to go about their own personal gains. It's sad that none of them are even saying anything about the children that was captured by bandit's and have been in the bush for roughly more than three weeks now, all they cares about is on how to win the next  year election that we are not even sure most of us will even see. At this point Nigeria is the last place I can never advice anybody to be because our safety is no longer ensure anymore.

Adeleke is not just a nobody in the country, he is a governor who is part of the policy makers in the country and second to that is the fact that a regular Nigerian politician always does his analysis and tries to tag along with whoever they see that things will favor. governors are gaining from the government because accountability is not demanded from them, why will they not support Tinibu? it only annoys me when i see an average citizen that is struggling to feed and stay protected coming out to defend this failed administration.

When I came across this headline yesterday on Television that he openly declared his support for Tinubu just because it's his brother I nearly shed tears because it automatically means the cry of the masses means nothing to him, because if he had any empathy for Nigerians and what we are going through he won't openly declare support for a domicile president that is not active, I once had love for the Osun state governor but with this very act of his, he has lost my respect and love. It's so worrisome that in all the insurgency we are facing some people will declare support for Tinubu.

I know everyone is entitled to support whoever they want but in this very case the blood of the innocent citizens are crying for help and as such no one in his right senses will support Tinubu no matter the benefits they get from him. When crises is ongoing and it doesn't get to one's family they don't actually feel the pains of others that are affected so I don't blame him.

Most Nigerians are tribalistic when it comes to picking their presidential candidate to vote for the upcoming election, this is how stupid some persons can be. There are things which can't affect my preferred voting choice, voting based on tribe, voting based on party or voting based on influence, agreeing to any of the above is like selling of vote.

Why I'm I not surprised that politicians will shift ground to where favors their political aspiration rather than where will favor the masses, if a politician is against a ruling government is because the rulership is not favoring them personally, if it does they will not care if it's not in the favor of the masses.

President Tinubu, is a big elephant in Nigerian politics that is a master planner for winning elections and if you plan to win election you need to align with him for smooth sailing if not it doesn't matter your popularity in your state you will likely lose the election. I totally agree with you on this and you can see the level of crisis to which tribalism has lead us thus far in this country, we have failed to do away with being tribalistic when we see credible leaders from other regions of the country trying to contest for elections and be elected in to office. I know that mostimes those we believe to be credible actually get to the office and later failed but we should look at the past records they have and know who we will be casting our votes for in the upcoming elections in 2027 because if we don't make that change we will suffer more afterwards.

Elections are never free in Nigeria because those in charge of elections which is the INEC officials are appointed by the seating president, so how do you think it can be free and fair as they will work to deliver the candidates that has appointed them, the best way is to strip that power of appointing the INEC Chairman from the President and then we will experience a free and fair elections in Nigeria.

Is always going to be money and nothing else will be his reasons to support him, perhaps some promises of more money could have been made to him after the election if he supports Tinubu because I couldn't find any reason for him to leave his party candidate to support and another rival party that's not friendly to the All progressive Congress, so actually this was how they bought almost all the governors last election. It is not a bad thing if someone vote for Tinubu in 2027 election because some people are meant to be black sheep among the people, anyone who know what he is doing and have a good sense as a human will never vote for Tinubu but i am not surprised that Osun state governor, Ademola Adeleke want to support Tinubu because he is a governor and Tinubu has been the reason why he won the election and become the governor as you can not bite the finger that feeds you.

All this drama are all because of Selfish interest, the governor adeleke is just trying to protect his own second term and that is why he has declared his support for president tinubu, but one thing I like is just what you just said that governor adeleke is just one person and he alone cannot win president tinubu for the second time. Even the governor himself is just running around looking for who to help him secure the second time, he is not in the same party with the president and definitely he will want the president to support him so that it can be able to Return the Favor when the Times comes.

This should tell you that it is a common game they're all playing, they know the truth but cannot be open to saying it because they're all compromised and are afraid of being removed from power if they say otherwise. The children in captivity is not their business since neither their friends nor family members are involved, dem no rate any oda lives not related to them, it is very sad. The former minister of power who his sister and twin nephews were abducted secured their release in less than 3 days, this should tell you that these people knows very well what they're doing.

Like ehhh it just annoying having to see how people they suffer for this country and them still turn their back on the massive, just because they have the opportunity to be their…most of the times I just if God could just come down to judge Nigeria issues like this country problems nah nothing to write home about,

Can you even imagine with all the suffering and lot of problems people are facing this people are still painting it and making look like there is nothing wrong in the country…in fact I heard in his state some local where giving 15k just to buy votes like when I saw this i was so bitter, like the girl was on social media shouting she collected 15k just to vote…honestly some people just need to understand that it high time we make Nigeria a better home to live, there is more than all this little token they offer..
