I love this topic because it will show where everyone stands. I personally am rooting for the USA because I live in the USA and I am loyal to my country, especially when I am mostly just interested in winning for that reason alone and im not the biggest futbol fan. I did love playing recreationally. I also loved hearing my fellow coworker who is Haitian describing his unforgettable experience at a qualifier match. What he described was his whole country because the majority in the stands was Haitian in complete unity in joy! He described being in tears at the sight of his grandmother being the happiest he had ever seen her and was so filled with joy that he went. Can you describe anything more wholesome? It makes me want to bet on Haiti! I was personally proud to hear that the USA made their greatest performance in a long long time or maybe ever in a match at the very beginning.

best world cup bet...probably I would just try to bet against a couple of "major" teams that doesn't win the cup.
also, as happens with Qatar and Switzerland, surprises area always behind the corner. this is soccer (or football ), the ball is a sphere, everthing can happens.

Personally (even If I play semi-pro junior leagues) I can't watch a world cup without Italy.
this is the third edition without Italy.  During USA 94 they reach the Final. Now they cannot even join the final phase

You are supporting the US to win the world cup but you couldn't watch their opening match. I wouldn't bet on any country because of my feelings for them or that of my friends because in gambling, you forget about emotions and bet on the strongest team.

My country didn't qualify for the world cup which makes me to be on a neutral side without supporting any team till on the semifinals. I am enjoying the game by having fun watching it and also bet to see if I can make more money or lose the one I bet with.

The first games of the world cup habe been most rewarding and entertaining because I managed to have an accurate predictions in two of the game's that have been played out in the world cup so far, but certainly for now, we cant tell which team is the best team in this world cup right now, ony at the end of the tournament we will know which among those team is rewarded wirh that title of best team of the season.

In the group stage, this is a bet against the favorite: Underdog Double Chance, but only in the first round. After the first round, the results may be such that the favorites start playing seriously, so then you need to look at it in more detail. During the playoffs, the most profitable bets are on the favorites - by this time, it's already clear which team is in what shape, and bookmakers fairly assess the teams' chances. But there is no value here (compared to the bets I recommended at the group stage, so we need to figure out where to make a profit).

Currently right away I won't jeopardized my own feelings over someone out there and as we know it is something that involves money while gambling, I won't just any country because I have my money staked on the bet. What that is more important to me is to select and choose my bet wisely at least to know which would win, although in world cup you it is actually  hard to give direct winning to a particular country but you can go on either "Under or Over, Home or Away, including draws". So is better not to directly give them winning.
