Following the abduction of another traditional ruler on Saturday, June 13, 2026, over 30 Yoruba monarchs have reportedly fled their palaces in fear for their lives. This latest incident brings the total number of Yoruba obas either abducted or killed by bandits to 11.

This is the global aim, it didn't start today. Attempts to Islamize Nigeria started as far back as Babangida's era as military head of state. These bandits are becoming increasingly bold and unnecessarily brutal. We know very well that it is politically motivated because you'll always see that the governors does nothing than to condemn the acts on media and no one is ever held accountable for these brutal actions. Omo, like play like play these bandits are really gaining strength by the day for this country oh. Because can you imagine a whole 7 Yoruba traditional monarch have just been killed, 3 released, while 1 still in captivity, due to maybe the inability of his kingsmen to pay the required ransom. And now, there is a rumor that over 30 extra Yoruba monarchs have been reported to have ran away from their respective Palaces, which is very bad, because this is a very serious issue that everybody needs to take it very seriously oh..  And secondly, this is an opportunity for all these monarch to wise up and tell their people to vote our this government oh. Well it is nice we listed some of our observations pertaining the growing insecurity challenges, however; most of the listed points are still on tentative basis because most of them are still speculations especially the issue of traditional rulers fleeing due to attempt to kill them because they are not supporting the ruling APC government and the issue of plot to Islamize Nigeria, this fact are not concretely proven and as such we have to still subject them to further scrutiny before jumping into conclusions so we don’t end up sending wrong information to the general public.

Truth be told there is severe insecurity challenges in Nigeria currently but we can’t completely attribute it to the fact that it’s because they want to Islamize Nigeria because in some scenarios even Muslims are killed, on the other hand even some associates of Tinubu and the APC have also been attacked so i won’t want to conclude that the insecurity is one sided or a plot to eliminate most of the traditionally rulers that are not loyal to Tinubu, the challenges that Nigerians are currently facing is because the government didn’t take drastic actions when the insecurity started initially, most people including some traditional rulers felt that the insecurity was just in the North alone and felt less concerned but today see what is happening, insecurity is now spreading like a volcano round Nigeria, to me let the Nigerian government and citizens forget about any blame-game and work collectively to fight the menace, as the saying goes no insurgence can be greater than the government as long as they are determined and ready to tackle it.

Transitional rulers have not been given enough security, you see a local government chairman walking with several security personnels like police and Army, but traditional rulers who are the first point of call from the people are left to walk without any government protection. In my statement, I didn't say the President should protect his people alone, I said, he should protect his people more, don't misrepresent my statement. I have sat so many times and think what could be the reason for this massive massacre of the citizens not just the monarchs but the entire citizens and couldn't actually lay my hands on it, someone said this is happening because they want to islamise the country into a Muslim country and even if they wanted to do so must they start with man slaughtering?,  it's quite unfortunate that the government we have has decided not to take the security of the country seriously and it has lead to the porous killings that occurs everyday in our villages and towns.

I'm beginning to think, is it because the president is a Muslim that's why he has neglected to protect the Christians?, His silence calls for concern and one will assume he is behind the killings. Before monarchs are hunted by the bandits it's means something or someone is behind it, the children they kidnapped hasn't been released yet even when they gave room for negotiations nothing has been done. Something is actually fishy in this Tinubu's administration.
