Paypal will ban women first, then BTC will follow their lead.

Do you have any proof for that? I find that figure quite unbelievable. Because in 2013, only 2-4% of the Bitcoin users were female. Among the Bitcoin traders, the percentage was way lower. Nothing has changed since then, and a jump of 4x is difficult to fathom.

I'm pleasantly surprised by the (high) number of female names on the bank accounts that I sell bitcoin to on LocalBitcoins. I would say it's about 10% as well, but that's with only a sample of about 50.

About a year ago I told my gf about bitcoin. We had some conversations about bitcoin and eventually she bought some. She even made a 2nd purchase of some more BTC a few months later and she still owns them.

That amount may be 10% in the EU/ US. But in other major markets, such as Russia and Latin America, it will be much lower.
