2. Thrilled they haven’t been as active/gone, the whole virtue signaling and endless edits on post for self moderated topics was more than a bit atrocious.

1. Carribean Trash uses this board as his own self advertisement section to give his low effort, over priced, “collectibles” relevancy. Cash grab to the core. Thank you for letting me know you sold one single cock coin across Facebook, eBay, Instagram, auction sites, forum…. Honestly he would probably do really well on Whatnot! Glad I don’t watch whatnot cuz Carribean Trash will take over that site too.

2. Howard and Kazbitch couldn’t handle the bear market, or they stole enough to disappear… hopefully for good. But please people, do not meet these guys in person. Another criminal enterprise brought forth through Carribean Trash associates

3. 1hodlclub - agreed, him still selling while owing collectors here (guessing half a BTC total in random missing load values) is a slap in the face to the community.  Would be different if he made a plan or effort to fund the coins, but since he converted BTC to stables (assuming to live off of) - it’s likely long gone. Again - lack of balls by people with the ability to stop this shit.

I don't disagree that it impacts Collectibles, but that isn't how it works. Specific sections are for specific things. Opinions about other members belong in Reputation, which is why I moved it here. Just like I've done for topics created by KazKaz/Howard/etc.

There is no need to cough my name (unless you want me to give you a throat tablet). I didn't reply to this topic before, as there is nothing more I can (or want) to say as a moderator of that section.

This is a liberal forum, which has liberal rules. People don't get banned for potential scams, humer3 comes to mind, bumping topics isn't against forum rules, etc. Not that it really matters to me anyway, since I cannot ban anyone, only request a global moderator/administrators to do so (after which they make their own judgement). Feel free to appeal to them, nothing is stopping you from doing so right now.

Having multiple sales topics could be consider a break of forum rules, but that hasn't been enforced in Collectibles in ages (and would affect more people). Carribean currently has 4 active topics (as in, on the first page), if we tell them to merge them together, we need to do the same for minerjones and MoparMiningLLC. They often have lots of auction/sale topics and bump them.

I've explained the issues surrounding 1HodlClub to Theymos in the past, as I wanted their input, and he was very clear about this to me: If someone is dead-set on shooting themselves in the foot, despite being thoroughly warned, who are we to stop them?. They've got a flag that is visible for new members and people that aren't logged in and they've got negative trust.

There are parts and people of this forum that I also don't enjoy, but that's life. Ignoring those aspects is much easier than having constant discussions about it.


EDIT: AFAIK, Howard is banned and KazKaz as well (at least temporarily) for breaking forum rules (something about their PMs being reported). Not 100% sure though, since it went down during my vacation.

The collectibles group is reaping what they sowed in my opinion. They allowed trolls to chase away the OG makers of items and were left with mostly scams and overpriced, low effort hobbyist offerings as a result. All that evil needs to succeed is for good men to do nothing, and that describes the collectibles section perfectly.

I am not familiar with the issues concerning the Collectibles board but maybe the pattern that the OP is alluding to is being replicated by different members in other boards.

In my opinion, there are far too many issues related to the forum that can be raised and/or discussed. If one member can highlight issues they are not happy about (or feel strongly about) there will always be other issues they would not raise. I suppose there will always be positive and negative aspects to the forum because it is in part is an effect of the freedoms being afforded to members.

I think this is fine if he is showcasing separate coins for the sales since it requires description and the reservation will mix to each other. This happened a lot in the past from makers that has multiple coin series being sold at the same time.

But I agree that 6 active thread is too much and already spammy. The maker should create 1 general thread for his coin if he has a lot to sale simultaneously.
